Last weekend I have ordered a Sunday brunch with #Marriotonwheels. I was totally surprised with the the quantity and the variety of food ,at the same time they have maintained the quality of food they offered in that menu.
The delivery got a quite late so I'm not giving a full 5 star.
But at the same time Ms Abantika has offered me next week buffet and apologize for that mistake.
The delivery boy was always wearing proper equipments and was hygienic.
More or less I would suggest everyone to try this brunch because they are offering so much with a competitive prices. Overall it was a quite amazing experience for me

First of all, once you check in to Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata, you would never like to go back to your home. This hotel has tremendous staff from FO,HK to F&B, they were like stars thriving to go beyond your expectations. From front desk Bishal,Tinku and Gunjan they were quite helpful, they provided prompt assistance in any of our wishes or requests. Whereas, from Housekeeping Ram, Tina, Surya and Suman they had been so attentive to our room cleaning requests and made comfortable beds for us and Tina also left a note to my wife for her wellbeing. Now here comes the team of legends from Food and Beverage, Afridi was first person to whom we spoke prior to making booking at Fairfield, he provided late night delicious biryani as we arrived in the mid night on the day of arrival,Neha who is not only a good listener but also went extra miles to serve us with variety of cuisines despite the fact that we had limit on choosing from specific dishes and cuisines, also she packed us extra food for lunch on the day of departure as we had to take off for Ahmedabad. We met just for a while to Jr sous chef Ankit who also greeted us personally came in to our room with food. He told us whenever we want anything new to be added to our existing food package, can straight away contact him, the food servers like Aporbo, Tanmoy, Sourav,Manisha and Moonmoon served us at whatever times we requested or rescheduled food delivery.
In a nutshell, We really recommend Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata to stay because of their staff thriving to serve you make you feel like being at home, staying comfortably, hygienically safe during pandemic, food on time and gym for some workouts ya.
We’ll come again to stay at this hotel, heaps of thanks to all who made our stay enjoyable yet memorable.

I have been staying here for last 10 days and I will stay for 10 more days and thanks to their hospitality and in-room dining services that I love everything about this hotel. Their breakfast, lunch and even dinner menu are really good. Love the presentation and quality. Staff are really courteous and special thanks to Pradeep and other staff for making my stay so delightful here. They took extra precautions during my quarantine period and served me indoor. They always sanitize my room every alternate day and even everyday if I allow them to do so. Good thing about their staff is that they go beyond their comfort to service the customers. On days when I had meetings back to back, they took my delivery from amazon too. Sometimes, I forgot to order my meal then they made sure to serve me with whatever they had but they didn’t let me stay hungry.They made all efforts to make my stay wonderful and provided me with everything I needed. They have a beautiful pool area, Bar, fitness centre and beautiful restaurants which never let me get bored. This post was needed because they are actually doing so much for making my stay wonderful. Thanks to Fairfield by Marriot and their entire team. I am definitely gonna stay here next time and have these amazing food again!

It's a brand new property which is close to the airport but at a distance from the main city as in Park Street and all.
Fairflied by Marriott is in New Town of Kolkata.
The check is was smooth and excellent. Must thank Ms. Prachi who did all for us. Ms. Preksha is the FOM and must say that u have an excellent staff.
This is the 2nd Fairfield that I am using so the room size and amenities are ok.
Housekeeper was aware of my preferences and did my room to the best he could. Thank you Mr. Neeraj.
Friends, do not take it as negative feedback but the FNB needs a lot lot lot of improvement. It's not even 10% as per any Fairfield. Buffet breakfast is cold, buffet lunch is cold and even the buffet dinner is cold. Food quality is just average. Kolkata people are considered to be foodie and the food is just average. Except the lamb biryani nothing is so great. The service at the coffee shop is just average but if you are lucky to get Mr. Afridi around then your day is made. Mr. Afridi an excellent chap who is on his toes and ready to serve guests with a smile. You can never hear a NO from him and he does all to keep you happy. Mr. Rahul - who is the FnB head needs to do a lot of working. I understand it's a new property but cold food and hair in food is never acceptable brother.
I my self have served Mr. Rahul morning breakfast which he agrees to be cold. If the FnB chief agrees to cold food how do one expects guests to have cold breakfast in 15 degrees of kolkata mornings.
Last but not the least. I must thanks Mr. Abhishek who is the hotel manager for making my stay comfortable and hearing out guests and assuring resolution to it.

They handed me the room key where some one was already staying. I was able to enter someone's room, thankfully they were not in or could've been a trouble for me/them. Then had to wait for good half an hour to check into my room. Not at all a Marriott standard.
Breakfast options were very limited with mosquitoes/flies around the breads on offer.
Guys try and avoid this property, you might like the built but inside you'll regret.

I had a very good experience at Fairfield Marriott. I accidentally booked a day in advance by mistake. After reaching the venue even though a new joinee told me nothing can be done, Gunjan the manager at that time got on a call with me and tracked down a rep from makemytrip and finally helped me prepone the booking. A big thank you to Mr Gunjan !
When I checked in at 1am in the night, due to COVID and severe surge in Kolkata , few users were unavailable as the chef specialized more in Indian that Italian, yet Mr Tanmay managed to get made a wonderful chicken spaghetti for me and made that complimentary as I had a really long day.
For the next day's breakfast, the restaurant team (a lady) took a mental note all my orders. The same food I wanted from inside the kitchen and not the food displayed outside because of the pandemic. She didn't skip a single dish delivered all of it at a distant table which I got re-sanitized and sat down.
Fairfield's team & staff are humble , caring, empathetic & hardworking. It was priced at 3.6k (inclusive tax and breakfast) on MMT. I just got lucky to have found that hotel ! Truly a 5star !

We visited this restaurant on Sunday ie. 26th Jan'2020 for a buffet. When we entered there was nobody available at the restaurant reception. We waited for 5mins and then someone walked up and asked for help.
As per the vouchers we bought, the buffet start time was 12.30pm but, after we reached there, the timing confirmed was 1pm. We were given a place to sit. The glasses in which water was served was not clean.
And while we were waiting, none of the staff members thought of engaging us by serving some beverage. We informed, one of the chef's to let us know when the buffet was ready. Surprisingly nobody even informed us about..when we asked that's when we got to know it's ready to be served. This is horrible that,guests are waiting and chef's are busy clicking pictures of food and chatting on what's app.
Finally we started with our main course. The placement of food not right either. Some dishes were not even labeled. Is this how Marriott's work?
While eating, I happened to ask one of the servers if there were beverages with this package, he was not even aware of that basic question. He asked someone else and said NO. And, then suddenly some lady walks up and confirms, yes you can have soft beverages. This is so disappointing.
Additionally, I requested one of the chef's to bhel/jhal muri and he said, you can make it yourself. When I gave that look, he agreed to make one for me. Come on, You're a chef you should ask guests proactively and here, he is asking me prepare it?
I don't recommend anyone to visit this restaurant for food. Customer Service is poor and pathetic.

Fairfield by Marriott is one of the best hotels in Kolkata. The location Newtown area is a great location, with nice amenities and away from the city's havoc. The rooms here are perfectly sized and very comfortable. Keeping its name and brand at its peak, the hotel takes care of hygiene very seriously and keeping in mind the covid situation around the world staying here felt very safe to me. The floors and all the places are sanitized from time to time which is very nice. The cleaning staff especially Sandip Bhattacharya Ji, are very polite and great at their work, they have never disappointed in regards with their work. The dining experience was great with a nice and wide variety of delicacies available. The area has polite staff including Nikita who is always there to help. The place has a nice view of the city which feels great to have with morning breakfast. The place has a pool area which also has a calm and almost scening view

A memorable stay with Marriott! This is the first time with Marriott (we try all big shot properties), and the service was super super great. Starting from reception to hotel, everything was perfect! The managers and waiters at restaurant made sure they reach out to you for feedback twice or thrice during every meal. They all have a sense of ownership and they would not hesitate to clear your plates proactively irrespective of the level they're in. They'll have a sweet conversation with you every time. They'll ask where you're headed to, what would you like to have in food, any feedback on rooms etc etc. The best thing is they take the feedback proactively and positively like a pro. Do visit Vertex and try the Crafted beers.
I'd love to stay at this property again.
