I went to this hotel a few months back to attend a marriage ceremony. Such a nice and beau this hotel is. The location is quite good. The ambience of this hotel is quite soothing. Hospitality is also amazing. A perfect hotel to stay. The staffs are very polite and helpful unlike other hotels especially the front office manager Mr. Sapan Bari. He was the one who looked after all my conundrums and tackled everything in a very gentle way. The front office didn't give any chance to complain. I was very satisfied with the behaviour and the service of the staffs especially with Mr. Bari. I'll be very happy and excited if I get another chance to reside in that hotel and to meet the front office manager Mr. Sapan Bari. I would suggest each and everyone to come and stay in this hotel only.

Hotel was fine. Front desk service was exellent. Taxi driver couldn't find the hotel for some time ! Checked out early and was provided with takeaway breakfast. Airport is nearly located from hotel. Overall great experience.

Regenta Inn Larica located in prime location is a no frills hotel with all necessary amenities. Staff is friendly and helpful, service is prompt. Food was freshly cooked and delicious. We stayed here for 4 days 3 nights, our stay was comfortable.

Excellent location. Nice rooms, quite spacious. Check in can be a bit faster. Overall quality good and value for money. Behaviour of all staff cordial. Food quality quite good. Clean washrooms and linen.

I stayed here for a friend's wedding. Stayed for couple of nights.
Bedroom:
Bed is ok, big enough for two people. There was a wardrobe, Locker, minimum tea facilities. Mind this place is next to a wedding venue, and the weddings in Kolkata are loud. Unfortunately, both the nights I was here, there was at least three hours of loud music. I enjoyed some of it, but needed sleep.
The room had plenty of natural light, thanks to its big glass window.
You have enough power points to charge your laptop, mobile etc.,
Airconditioning:
Air-conditioning is on, You can’t leave the AC on when you go, you have to have the key in the slot to turn it on. The room does have a ceiling fan. However I was a bit not sure about it as it was swinging as the speed increased.
Bathroom:
Toilet seat was a bit high. I felt as if I was learning to ride a bike, just the toes touching the ground. Bath was ok. Hot water was available. Don’t expect shower to be Jet speed.
Dining:
Horrible experience I must say. First day I checked in, I went to have food in the restaurant, that was on 1st floor. There were two options either, Ala-Carte or Buffet. Reasonable price.
There was one table that was empty and clean. All others were occupied by a loud teenager group or not cleaned. I occupied the one available, went to get some buffet food, when I returned the teenager group were chit chatting around the table I was sitting and then settled down on there, no awareness or anything. The restaurant staff didn’t bother either.
I had to go and find a clean space on the unclean table.
Food was good. Spicy in some bits. Dessert was rubbish I would say. They made something for namesake.
I went to use the wash basin and was almost sick, seeing the state of the basin. Never cleaned and was disgusting.
Location:
Airport/Train Station
Location wise, 20-30mins in taxi from airport. Haven’t gone to see where the train station is so can’t comment on that.
Public Transport:
Mostly used Auto rickshaws or taxis, have seen public transport buses, but didn’t use them. There were Electric Rickshaws for short distances.
Restaurants nearby:
After the horrible experience in the restaurant, I decided to go out for Lunch next day. There are few around, however I decided to go to a nearby mall and have food. There’s a city centre mall not far 20mins walk may be.
Overall, Would I stay again. No. Though Its a great location for the function halls and to airport, there are more options around this location that are far better.
