The room staff were great, the guy behind reception was very miserable. But the rooms were on another level for dirt, absolutely disgusting. Could not wait to check out ! The district the hotel is in feels very unsafe, I would never recommend a single female staying there!!! Or anyone else for that matter !😱😱😱

We were allocated this hotel when our previously booked one cancelled at the last minute. It’s in a very poor, and difficult to find area of the town. All taxi drivers had problems finding it. There was nowhere nice to eat nearby. The person who took the photographs of the hotel must have been very skilled as the rooms were nothing like the photographs. Our room was filthy! Grime everywhere, around the toilet and wash basin. Bedding and towels were old and seen better days. No kettle as advertised and the air conditioning unit was falling apart! My husband said the water in the shower was hot but I’m afraid I would risk it. The staff appeared friendly but the overall experience was dreadful. Would never return!

Hello, This Hotel i am revisiting after 4 months and really appericate the owner to maintain the property in such nice manner, This time hotel was refurnished with all the interiors, Retros has is offering more hygenic foods and cleanliness was taken care. Morning break fast menu is also change with wide variety but for traveller like who stay for more then 5 to 6 days menus are almost same. hotelier need to make Gym charges free for all hotel visitors great value for money

This is the best Hotel having having Restro on the top floor, break fast is ok but the best part is the Gym on the basement of hotel which you will not find in budget hotel. it is extra chargeable thanks OYO to show me this hotel from your App

Hotel is located in a right place in Bhowbazar, Restaurant is very good, average cleanliness maintained but horrible receptionists in th hotel. First of all they did not give recognition of oyo authorities and asked me to contact you for imediate payment, which perhaps I have never seen anywhere that guest has to fight for the hotel payment (which has been already paid to you). I had to telephone at least 10 times to oyo with long waiting always, wasting a lot of times. Finally, it was settled before my Check out. It is upto you whether you would keep such a hotel in your list of hotels or not but over all it is very very bad experience for any guest to fight with hotel receptionists for payment, which has been already paid to you. Receptionists..... Horrible

Booking id-OHKV8170. I booked this hotel for my parents as they were travelling to Kolkata first time. So I booked this hotel to my surprise no auto rickshaw/cab driver knows about this hotel. On the day of checkout they said that one pillow cover is missing, to which my father replied that the room service guy didn't put it. They started arguing for pillow cover, then when my father got angry and told them he will open his suitcase and if not found he will humiliate them really bad. The receptionist got scared and started saying sorry. So after paying 6500 INR for 3 days Iam really unsatisfied with their services.

The hotel is nice and rooms are quite clean. Bathroom size is average and is very well maintained. The location is in the centre of Kolkata, but not on main road. It bit inside. They have a rooftop restaurant and the food is average. Breakfast served and was good with different varieties.

You may find it very difficult to find if you don't have access to internet or google map. But once reached the experience was fine. The room was clean and bathroom was equipped with all the required amenities.

The hotel was good and well kept. The staff was good and courteous. Couple of points worth mentioning 1. Found it difficult to locate the property as its in the narrow lanes on Busy Kolkata. The neighbourhood is not clean and its scary at night 2. No adequate charging points provided in room and the only charging port in the room was not easy to use unless you have a very long charging wires.
