I stayed at this place for 2 days just before the new year. Its a good budget hotel - If you are looking at Just crashing for the night and are looking for hot steaming good food (I am a vegetarian!). My parents were travelling for the first time to calcutta and I took my chance by booking this hotel...

I stayed there for 4 nights and my first impression of hotel was ok. However when i entered the room it was disappointingly small with practically no space to even keep some luggage. Bathroom was ok, geyser not working. There is no restaurant in hotel but room service is prompt and food is good(i had vegetarian). The best thing about...

A good option for a budget stay in Kolkata. The location is the biggest plus point of the hotel. Good food. The complimentary breakfast is quite sumptuous. The ambience is old fashioned and the windows face other buildings or the road. Best option if booking for a business/overnight trip.

Considering that this hotel is in one of the most expensive areas of Kolkata, I found the rates very reasonable. The room was well maintained and clean. Room service was good and you get complimentary wi-fi as well. Public amenities are easily available and it's walking distance from Park Street.

i really cant square the reviews iv seen on this hotel on trip advisor with the hotel itself. how anyone can rate this 4 out of 5 is beyond me. When you walk into the hotel itself the first think that hits you is the smell of stale smoke, it stinks and its not helped by the gang of men...

I had a stay in this hotel for two days. And it was a good experiance. Rooms are good but a little small. Bathrooms are very clean. Staff behaviour is also very good. They have a resturant. The quality of food is very good and reasonably priced. Centraly located. Overall a good budget place to stay.

First of all I sincerely believe you get what you pay for, hence I will recommend this place to travelers on a budget of 2000-3000/night. Traveled to kolkata with my girlfriend in march 2013 to attend a conference and for sight-seeing. Note- A lot of hotels in kolkata have problems in accommodating unmarried couples, so if you are an unmarried...
