We had a great stay, highly recommended. Great staff and manager. They also gave us a tour of their plantation and factory. The views from the room are breathtaking. Choose the front facing rooms. No cons as such that we experienced.
The best luxury heritage resort in Darjeeling. If you're looking for eye-pleasing views with great comfort and hospitality, this place is for you. It is very secluded from the main town and with impeccable food and jaw-dropping views of tea estate and mountains, the experience would be one of a kind. Absolutely loved my stay here. Also, their staff is very friendly. They will leave no stone unturned to make your stay unforgettable. They also arrange a bonfire in the evening along with live music and snacks. Overall, it was a really good experience. Highly recommended for people who want to chill in the lap of nature and enjoy the serene ambience.
Well... First of all, thanks to the team of Ging Tea House for making our one day stay so memorable. The location of Ging Tea House is spectacular, overlooking the valley beneath and mountains from room (even though we were in the clouds most of the time during our stay) was certainly on the plus point to choose this tea house. The food (including breakfast, lunch, evening snacks & dinner) was simple, good and really very tasty and most importantly all the staff was extremely nice, helpful and sweet spoken. Our bad luck was that the tea factory was closed on the day we checked in and we could not make it possible even before we checked out the next morning. The room we had (Royal Assam Suite) was really so spacious, comfort and cozy. In the room there was a water-boiler for making tea etc. etc. but no tea bag and sugar was present there unfortunately. This is not a big deal though, because whenever you want they have provided spontaneous Darjeeling tea as per your need. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that they couldn't arrange our special request even after asking via email. Most importantly and very unfortunate, if they did not even informed about any difficulties in making it possible. Still I am giving them 5 star rating just because our objective was to rest & chill out and these was the only perfect place for that. Lastly, it is worth to mention that if they sort a few things out, this is absolutely one of the most adorable and great place to stay, with a friendly and genuinely nice staff.…

Visited the Ging Tea Estate during our trip to Darj for a day trip. They organized a walking rather mini hiking tour of the tea garden followed by lunch. Excellent property and immaculately maintained with all the charms of a tea estate. Really wish we had the opportunity to stay there. Lovely rooms done so tastefully, superb food especially the dessert and outstanding staff hospitality. You must have the Ging Tea there too. We were fortunate to meet the owner too, who was such a lovely pleasant person and shared the history of the property with us. Its really a must visit tea estate if you are going to North Bengal.
