Excellent. Manager and the boy were very good & cordial. They arranged everything from sight seeing tour to bringing dinner at room with smile for me & my elderly mother. View is awesome. Clouds check in your room if your balcony door remains open. Location wise it is 5 minutes walking distance from clock Tower & 7 minutes walking distance from mall (ask some locals for direction). Don't book this hotel through OYO as the hotel authorities have severed their ties with oyo

First of all the rooms are spacious & view from the room is awesome. The hotel is also located in an open place on top of the mountain. The hotel is located just five minutes(Walking distance) away from clock stand & 7-8 minutes from the Mall. Though it is very difficult to walk from clock stand to hotel due to steep road, but it's worth it. The room service and all are very poor. Overall considering the price factor and the facilities we got was a total value for money.

The hotel is located at very high, hence the view is awesome. Kanchenjungha and Tiger hill is visible directly from the room if the sky is clear. The hotel is very quiet and no disturbance at all. But the service is slow.

The service is good and the VVIP suit we stayed in was quiet nice and it is according to the ratings ! The food was also good . The location is also good since its near the mall market but again reaching the hotel is again bit dufficult due to less pathfinders !

First things first. This is not a cozy cottage as advertised. It's a hotel under construction. It's managed by a bunch of room boys who are your porter, cook, handyman etc. We booked 3 rooms through makemytrip. It promised beautiful views, running hot water, satellite TV and all standard amenities. In 2 rooms there was no running hot water. In one there wasn't even water. The top room was a disaster. Whereas it was bigger than the others, that's the only plus point it had. Room had no pillows, the cupboard smelt of paint, and the guests in the adjoining room could be heard loud and clear as that room was created as a loft on top of ours. The room was dusty and not clean. Breakfast was provided with the room which was basic. No complaints there except for the fact that we were told that tea or coffee without milk was included but with milk was chargeable!!!! The room boys keep assuring you that they're getting things sorted but it's beyond their mental capacity and resources to do anything. At 4.30am the pigeons start making a racket as they have formed nests in the alcoves all around the room. There are nests inside the bathroom too. Avoid this place like the plague…

Stayed there for 2days,Its a pathetic hotel, Dusty ,unclean room , looked like no guests ever stayed in their hotel.Smeeling and dirty towels, dusty bedsheets,No water in toilet for both the days, when we asked for water in toilet, answer got from hotel staff was that their service boy has locked the water motor and they don't have key, they gave water in couple of buckets, No Hot water. TV doesn't work, Breakfast was extremely bad,Not suggested for humans,Yeah you read it right. Not safe for families. Our travel agent had booked this hotel in a travel package, he denied to change inspite of its pathetic condition, So we didn't had any other option than staying there.We had a very bad time in this hotel.

I arrived here by chance walking around trying to find a decent place to stay. I was greeted by two young men who were very polite and later an older gentleman who introduced himself as the manager. Everything seemed fine and the first night was with no problems. However, on the 2nd night I woke up at 2.30am by noises, they turned out to be from a porn movie and a male making sex noises/getting off, I assumed it was another guest and did what one would, flush the toilet make noises etc. Not his changed so I shouted "turn it own" etc. Still nothing changed, and it was very loud. What I finally realised was that someone was sitting outside my door watching doing all this!! At this point I started banging on the door and telling the person to stop but he didn't until I started threatening to call the police. Finally he left! It was absolutely terrifying! I left the next morning after shouting at the manager that it was absolutely unacceptable. He was in shock poor man but it's obvious it was one of the younger guys taking advantage of a solo, single female traveller and their fantasies - disgusting!!!…

Recently i and my family as well as my friends family visited Darjeeling and we stayed in Viramma Villa - to tell you we really enjoyed our stay, staffs are so friendly we got room service till 01:00AM at night, they never got irritated the best part is the Manager - he is so friendly and cooperative. We have been to many destination in our life but we found always professional staff but here in Viramm all the staffs are like family members. On a nutshell i will suggest everyone to stay at Viramma Villa and enjoy your stay within your budget.

Very recently i was in this hotel and to tell you i checked many hotel reviews but i always go with what my heart says, i booked this Hotel Viramma Villa and when i checked in i found this to be the best hotel under my budget as i booked Super Luxury Double Deluxe room and room service boy summon was very helpful and excellent, food was good and the management was very helpful. The room which i was staying was facing the mountain and the scene was so picturesque. There was no problem what so ever i found in people's review. I will suggest every one to use your head and don't go after reviews coz people cannot be made happy all the time. If planning to go to Darjeeling then check in to Hotel Viramma Villa you will feel at home. Their Honeymoon suite is very gorgeous and gives a big honeymoon kit which is complementary and it contains many thing which as a guest can't imagine. Go ahead without any second thought.…

One of the most pathetic hotel i ever stayed ..They don't have basic facility like water , towel & light. We stayed there for 2 nights and we regret that we stayed there as they don't have anyone who will take responsibility for services.. Stay away guys..
