This hotel was amazing in every way. Always maintained were cleanliness and hygiene. The motel was equipped with all the necessary amenities. Excellent staff conduct. Rishi deserves special recognition since he always showed up for our service with a smile on his face. But I do want to draw attention to the fact that the hotel has tables and chairs set up outside the rooms so that guests can relax, eat, and take in the scenery. But during our stay, we observed that other families arrived and were visibly consuming alcohol in the hallway, which also serves as the route for visitors. There is no danger in drinking alcohol, although one can do so at a restaurant or inside a room.

Everything was perfect about this hotel. Cleanliness and hygeine was always maintained. All basic amenities were there in the hotel. Staff behaviour was great. A special mention must be made for Rishi who was always present for our service with a smiling face. But One special mention I want to make is that the hotel has tables and chairs lined up outside the rooms where one can sit and have some and enjoy the view. But during our stay we found that some families came and were openly drinking alcohol in the corridor which is also the passage for the guests to pass. There is no harm in having alcohol but one can have inside the room or in a restaurant. Problem was that the family was creating a ruckus on the corridor where the tables were kept with food and alcohol spread everywhere. The environment became quite uncomfortable specially for females to pass from there as one has to pass from the place where they were openly drinking and making the passage dirty. I feel this is a huge fault on the part of the hotel. The hotel staff should have not allowed such things on the corridor where other families are also staying. Kindly rectify this as there must be rules in the hotels then only the families can feel safe and enjoy their trips.

The stay was excellent and I would like to thank the entire Sunflower team for making our trip a life time memory.
The property was very good and the hospitality was out of this world. The staff were kind and polite which really enriches your experience.
The entire process from check-in, providing different services to check-out was very smooth and nice.
The rooms were spacious and clean.
The food was delicious and being pure vegetarian, it was an additional benefit for pure vegetarians like us.
Overall, a great stay and experience and I would definitely visit again very soon.

We stayed in this hotel in the first week of November. While the property is in an ideal location, the rooms are reasonably sized, we had a major problem with the beds. The beds were stinking of cigarette smell. For both the rooms, we requested for a change of woollen as well as bed cover, but what we got was even worse. Hope the management (a) prohibits guests from smoking inside the room and (b) gets the bedding clothes thoroughly washed. This would greatly improve the staying experience for the guests.

Right on the mall and it is centre of all happening place. Rooms are large and neat. Friendly reception. Good veg food. Room service is quick. Beds are comfy and the room was warm enough for the weather during January. Ample charging points for your gadgets. Anytime hot water. Good views from the corridor. Cons. The bathroom doors need to be refurbished. Mind your foot while walking down to restaurant.

Located on the mall road ( basically the heart of the mall ) and obviously a great place to stay. The rooms were very good and the washroom also.... The rooms were wooden paneling and covered with carpet, so that the room was warm in winter.... The staff and the travel desk were very helpful and always in smiling faced. The Excellent food and also the darjeeling tea was very impressive.... We also saw Kanchenjungha from the dinning room in our 4th visit in November, 2012.....

The location of the hotel is strategic , its right on the mall. The rooms are good, spacious, with heaters and comfortable bed. The staff was helpful. We had inquired for a night stay but these did not have vacancy for the date.

The location was excellent, & value for money hotel. The staff was very cooperative and service was very nice. The food served in the hotel was very delicious and of good quality but a bit disappointment for non-veg travellers. The rooms were spacious, cozy, neat and clean. Experience the joy on the roof of the hotel - on the front side is MALL & back - the city & hills.

Hotel Sunflower located in Darjeeling is a very romantic place to stay. We went with our friends to stay and the service provided by this hotel was one of the best among our earlier stay @ other hotels. Now its fixed our next visit will be only @ Hotel Sun Flower.
