Everything about this hotel was above average or Good except they don't have Lift facility like many other Hotels of hills, but they claim to be 2 Star hotel. On the other side one can't stay much closer to Mall than this. It's only a few steps that leads from the Mall and below the Mall road on the left. At first glance this may not look much impressive from outside, but once you enter this, it would definetly meets your expectation. Most of the rooms have great views of the valley. But the winning point of this hotel is its location, the Mall where tourists come all the way from wherever they are put up in Darjeeling.
located in the mall. the room is good but minimum basic necessities are not available and you have to pay for it if you want. Heater is charged at Rs 500/ nite. even extra blanket is also chargeable. But the height of commercialisation is when they charge you for drinking water. Yes, you read it right, there is no complimentary water available in the room,in fact they don't keep any water in the room, but they do keep complimentary sachet of coffee, tea which really makes fun of the guest. Being a hotelier,I have not seen this anywhere. The receptionist was talking big about their cleanliness but when we arrived in the room found the floor near the bathroom and the commode were dirty. The person came after calling twice to clean the commode.Do check the photos attached.Clearly they don't check the room before they allot to the guest which is not acceptable. The hotel only serve vegetarian food so if you want to have your meal in the hotel and prefer non vegetarian food, this hotel is not for you. In case of any emergency,do not expect them to give you a quick service. we have faced that for a glass of warm water when we came back from outside after dinner and fell sick in the cold.May be they are not bothered about the guests who stay for very short period.…
Everything about this hotel was great: the staff would cater to your needs, the food for breakfast and dinner was tasty, and the rooms were very well done and had all amenities. Overall would stay here again. In the heart of the bazaars in Darjeeling
