Situated just 2 km away from the town, our home stay overlooks the Singtam valley with picturesque tea gardens. Many tourist places like Zoo, HMI, Ropeway,Tenzing Rock etc are within walking distance. We offer spacious clean rooms and home cooked food. We offer a meditation room and a Buddhist stupa within the campus.Factory visit at Happy valley Tea Estate, short treks, jungle walk, logistic for local site seeing can be organised on request. A spectacular view of the famous Mount Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world, towering at a height of 28169 feet/8586 meters is just a mere 5 mins walk from our home. St Josephs School and College established over 125 years ago are in the same vicinity. For guests spiritually inclined there is a church nearby, where there is daily mass offering in the morning. Leisurely morning walks with the cool air and mountain view can be a thing to cherish for a long time after leaving the Queen of the hills, Darjeeling.

Dear Mr and Mrs Syangdan,
It was a pleasure to stay at your Little Singamari homestay. We received excellent service from arrival to departure.
You and your family had been very professional, friendly and homely.
Your rooms were clean with modern furniture and with all amenities one may need in such chilling temperatures.
Free WiFi works perfectly.
Mrs Syangdan served tasty and hygienic food at the dining hall with few dishes cooked as per our choice. A big thanks to you.
It was also a pleasure to converse with Mr Syangdan and your son Shreyash. We wish him well in his management studies.
We have started to recommend your homestay to our friends and families for their trips to Darjeeling.
Warm regards,
Kaustubh Banerjee and group.

We a group of friends along with our families visited Darjeeling a week back.
It was crowded to the extent possible during the Christmas week. So we spent most of our time in this property during our 4 day trip.
Little Singamari is located conveniently away from the over crowded city centre. One can enjoy the scenic 30 min walk to the Mall road or catch a cab from the homestay entrance.
We booked the entire place with 4 rooms and loved every bit of our stay and this is the feedback of each member of our group including the kids.
The rooms are spacious and equipped with all the amenities including storage and heating. All the rooms have balconies and superb view of the valley. Enough outdoor space with enclosed seating areas and open terrace.
The food was just out of the world. All the dishes from simple lunch menu to barbeque were lip smacking delicious again not at all overtly spicy. I have been to all the reputed eating places in Darjeeling before and never missed a bit not being able to go to any of them this time.
The best part was the hospitality from the owners Shiromaniji, Romilaji and family. They took care of our every need from even before reaching there till the very end. You can't get enough of the warmth and care they have to offer. Couldn't thank them enough for making the memory of the the trip so special and cherishing.

We, a family of four, have stayed in Little Singamari homestay for a good one week from 4th Oct to 10th Oct.
After 6 months of lock down due to pandemic, we lastly decided to take the risk to travel and thought to shift my work from home to work from Darjeeling.
After much research we zeroed down to this place though we are really concerned due to Corona.
Once we reached there, we were really happy to see that host himself took all precautions and sanitisation effort for our safety.
The host Ramila and Shiromani are perfect, and you will love to converse on any topic. We have enjoyed a bonfire on request also.
Pros:
1. Excellent hospitality and homely atmosphere
2. Lip-smacking hot food, Momo’s (open and closed) and Alu Parathas are must try
3. A good WIFI connectivity
4. Awesome view of Tea gardens and hills from balcony
5. Rooms, bathroom are spacious and sparkling clean, love to see how the owner has taken care to the smallest details
6. A small but equipped library, prayer room
7. Walking distance from Zoo, HMI, Ropeway, Tea Garden, Tenging Norgay Rock
Cons: Really could not find
Lastly, don’t go by the name 'Little' in its name, Owners are big hearted, generous and will take care of your every need.
I have experience in staying homestays in my other trips, but this, I must admit, is one of its kind.

We have just spent 8 nights here and couldn't have been happier with the accommodation. The rooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable, with electric blankets on the beds to combat Darjeeling's cold, and the owners, Ramila and Shiromani are really lovely. Every morning we had the most delicious and generous breakfast sitting and chatting with them in their kitchen, then in the evening we ate a yummy dinner at the restaurant upstairs which is run by Shiromani's brother and his wife. Whenever we got back from a trip to the town Ramila would offer Darjeeling tea and biscuits, there was such a generosity of spirit, nothing was too much trouble and we really felt we had found a home there. If we go back to Darjeeling we would certainly stay with them again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Little Singamari Homestay in Darjeeling with my family for four wonderful days in August 2023, and I cannot express enough how fantastic our experience was!
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and hospitality that went above and beyond our expectations. One of the most remarkable aspects of our stay was the exceptional behavior of our host. They were not just hosts, but true gems of people who made us feel like family. Their genuine care and attentiveness added an extra layer of comfort to our stay.
We arrived at an early hour, around 6 am, and to our delight, they graciously allowed us to check in, sparing us the hassle of waiting around after a long journey. This level of flexibility and customer-centric approach is truly commendable.
The rooms at Little Singamari Homestay were incredibly spacious, offering ample space for our family to relax and unwind. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment throughout our stay.
Now, let's talk about the food – a true culinary delight! Every meal was a delightful experience, showcasing the flavors of Darjeeling. We were treated to a variety of local dishes that were not only delicious but also prepared with love. It was a culinary journey that we will cherish forever.
The location of the homestay is another plus point. Nestled amidst the serene beauty of Singamari, not too far away from the main town of Darjeeling, we were treated to breathtaking views of the cloudy mountains right from our room. It was a visual treat that made our mornings and evenings even more special.
In summary, our stay at Little Singamari Homestay was nothing short of magical. It's not just a place to stay; it's an experience that immerses you in the warmth and beauty of Darjeeling. The outstanding behavior of the host, spacious rooms, delectable food, and stunning location make it a top-notch choice for anyone visiting this charming town.
We can't wait to return to Little Singamari Homestay and create more beautiful memories. Thank you for making our stay truly unforgettable!

Was looking forward to visiting this town since school day’s and finally made this month. Having explored many options on various portals, found this one to my liking and booked it.
Needless to say, it was a very comfortable stay with the warm hospitality extended by the charming hosts, who strive to ensure that one carries back fond memories, as I did too🙂
With comfortable bed and quits, tea maker, TV and a balcony overlooking the valley, the comfort level is nice and warm.
Meal’s in the cosy dining room with the charming host’s and guests to chat with, add to the appetite, with the tasty homely meals served (they become “happy meal’s”) !
With cabs (share cabs too) available to hail just a minute away, it is convenient to move around.
Recommend this homestay for those looking for a home away from away. Just need to make sure that you plan and book well ahead, to ensure the date’s as per your requirement.
My thanks to the entire team @ Little Singamari homestay ! You guy’s rock 👍
PS. Taking the liberty to share a snap with the charming couple/host’s 🙂

This is the best homestay i personally ever came across.
Hospitality was supercool and so are the owner of the property they are so chilled out people, the food cooked by their visiting chef was delicious too I personally tipped the chef for the quality of food he cooked.
I was overwhelmed by the interior of the room and so for the balcony view.
There are plenty of flowers inside the whole property which are definitely eye captivating.
Overall i would like to visit again with my friends to chill out and create some ravishing memories at such a reasonable rate. Yeah, the best part is if you belongs to west bengal any city you can visit and do your WFH stuff for a week in this place.
Posting the pictures of all the moments captured inside the property
Will surely revisit
