Excellent experience। Good service। Manager Pavan ji a fine & decent person। The location is fantastic। All the service persons are very humble and soft। We have a joyful time over there,. Rooms ar big , and clean।
The hotel is extremely old and the not ventilated enough. The location is awesome, the view from the room is fantastic with the Mall right in front of the window. The room is huge but the furniture is old, looks shabby and unimpressive. Geyser works fine in the bathroom. We ordered tea in the morning and it was served in the room. The reception staff was cooperative and polite. I would prefer not to stay in this hotel again.
Before Booking this hotel, we saw mixed reviews but we booked the hotel at last and later we realised we made a very good decision. We booked the Suite (Juniper Suite) and we could see the Kanchenjunga from our room hotel. The hotel is just opposite to the mall and if you want from hotel only you could feel the atmosphere of mall. The hotel is more than 60 years old, however they are renovating it completely and this is good as new now. Hotel services were very good and staffs were co operative. If you want to stay near mall, go for this hotel only and book in advance.
I pre booked this hotel because of the location. First of all,The rooms are horrible,Floor is dirty,Toilet is uncleaned with stinky bed sheet and pillows. No room facilities not even a water boiler. Also they don’t have a proper charging ports and even after complaining they told us to buy the charging multi-plug from somewhere else.Furnitures were covered with dust.Even after complaining about it they didn’t bother to clean or change our rooms.I felt like I’m sleeping inside the jail or something. The management team is VERY RUDE.They charge you for everything for no reason.Do Not visit this place.0/10.
My luggage stolen from hotel room.first of all the hotel was with low maintenance.very old .almost rotten pillows.matress. Bathroom is with almost 100 years old fittings. But they told us that they need the room key for room service.first 2 days we locked the room with our own key. But last day we gave them the key for room service.after returning we saw some clothes and cosmetics are missing.my husband lucky ly locked laptop and other expensive gadgets in the trolley, otherwise there will be more groosome monetary loss for us.one of staff told me that one other maid and he himself enter in that room to do the cleaning services and he will ask her..but after some time he told us that she denied about the incident. We have to catch the cab so we were in a hurry so couldn't file a former complain which we should. But ask to the front desk and told total incident to manager and hotel owner. He denied everything and threatened us.So I think it would be a good idea to stay away from this hotel.…
Worst Ever hotel i have seen.I have booked this hotel through iBibo..This hotel is worst,No cleaning .Room warms are there ,Spider's web are there.Whatever they had shown in picture in reality just opposite of it.When we raised the concern with them ,they told us " we are NOT in between talk with goIbibo guys" .Thanks to goiBibo people they took it very nocely..else as per as this hotel is concern, This hotel is NOT neet & clean ,staff also NOT cooperative , so avoid stay here if you are with family.wi-fi is free but it is accesible only on Top most floor. They are least concerned about the customer. So avoid to go in that.
This place is antique. We stayed at the suite on the top most floor. There being no lift, we had to use the stairs for every silly thing. The room was pretty good and was warm. It was high enough for clouds to penetrate and we were literally r surrounded by nature. A good morning meant opening your window and seeing the clouds float into your room. We went during May 17 and there was some construction going on so many a times it so happened that small rocks fell on our heads. By small I mean really small. But this was a bit irritating. The construction took place at night, thereby disturbing our sleep since we had to go through a musical play of hammers and rocks. Other than that the location was goo and we had to walk less to go to the mall. i would give this hotel a 7 on 10. ( PS; the option may say that i have been there during November 17. But I went there in May 17 but there being no option, I gave the closest date available to may 17)…
One look at the room and I already hated it. The room stinks, the bedsheets are dirty. If you extend your arms halfway you will be able to touch both walls of the bathroom. In a nutshell, the hotel sucked.
We stayed at the Bellevue Hotel, Darjeeling for 2 nights during 1st week of May 2018. The hotel is on the Mall. We stayed at Room no. 39 & 40.Rooms were big in size, had wooden flooring, warm and cozy. Staffs were helpful. You can have a great view of valley and the Mall from the room. There were no balcony though. You can have running hot & cold water, but separate geyser was not available for rooms. Overall it was a very good stay.
We visited Darjeeling during the last week of March'18 and after going through several reviews opted this hotel because of its locational advantage. First of all when we contacted the hotel, the manager Mr. Pawan said the room rent is 2700/- + tax and when we checked at Makemytrip it was coming around 1800/- per day. When we reached the hotel the manager was not present so the staffs gave us the best two rooms facing the mall. But when the manager came he kept on insisting that we cannot take both the front rooms and finally admitted that if you book online then the possibility of getting good rooms is very thin. Now location wise this hotel is the best, just 30 secs walk to the mall. Now in terms of furniture in the room it's pretty old and need immediate renovation. Need to call the front desk everyday in the morning to switch on the guizer switch which was outside the room. No food is available in the hotel apart from just tea, coffee, & momo. Once you reach Darjeeling from the taxi stand you need to walk 10 mins uphill to reach this hotel with all your luggages. That was a huge negetive point if you are travelling with elder people. This hotel has a nice observatory at the top from where you can view the Kanchenjunga on a clear day. Overall I give 3 star to this hotel because from management to room decor, all needs improvement.…
