Friendly and very caring staff who respected our needs and catered promptly to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Rooms were clean, spacious and cozy! Toilet and bathing area was also very hygienic, with all the amenities rightly available. If you talk about the best Darjeeling hotel rooms, Mount Conifer is the place to be! Breakfast buffet had a lot of options, the food was fresh and very delicious. I surely recommended this place.

We booked a standard room with pool view but upon checking were offered an upgrade which we were glad to receive. Hotel is in a very prime location. I don't remember the reception guy name but his assistance was brilliant throughout the stay. Being locals, they know the area thoroughly and suggest the right thing only. Food was out the world, really happy with their breakfast spread! The best Darjeeling hotel in cntext to hygiene standards. Too good!

Mount Conifer will give you a royal treatment as I experienced and the kind of natural beauty this place carries is unbelievable. With very kind and supportive staff this place is worth visiting if you want the true flavor of Darjeeling. Food is also amazing and every dish I ordered carries its natural taste. Everyone in the hotel is supportive. Special mention is required for service and the reception staff for their kind gesture. Lovely ambient in the restaurant and chef's preparations are amazingly tasty.
Stunning view of Kanchenjunga from the terrace of the hotel and they even have provision of a bonfire on the roof with additional charges which is nominal.
The Mall is 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel and all the shopping places are nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends for a wonderful stay at Darjeeling.

1. If the power supply shuts, they don't have power back up. My room was on 4th floor. My parents was above 70 years and can't take stairs . The hotel staff asked us to wait till the power resumes. We waited/wasted 1.5hrs for the lift and finally took steps as the lift was not working due to no power back up.
2. Hot water supply is 7-9AM/PM. We stuck at the GF due to non functional of lift. Till the time we reach to our room after waiting for the lift for 1.5hrs, the hotel stops hot water supply as its 9:30AM.
3. The other day they supplied only hot water and not cold.
4. No supply of normal water- Guest in the hotel was stuck in the bathroom as there is no supply of water in WC/shower.
5. They charged 300 Rs per day if you ask for the room heater
6. When we finished our breakfast, we saw someone eating boiled egg. When we asked why it was not on the buffet table, they said we provide only if someone ask, how funny.
7. The crockery was dirty
8. We have paid for an extra bedding for our son, but what they provide is just a mattress in the floor.
9. Bed covers was dirty and full of holes.

Very Bad Experience with this hotel. rooms are very small, beds are small and just can fit 2 persons max . Lift too small , unorganised room design, food are too expensive, odd placement of hotel where car does not go, you will have to walk to luggage to reach the hotel gate. Price wise you can get much better hotel. I am amazed seeing some good reviews as it is not even worth a single star.. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

While the hotel is based at a prime location and it has basic amenities, there is a lot that can be improved. I could assess that hotel would have been a perfect hotel when it was renovated; attention should be paid to upkeep it. The wooden floors need cleaning and hotel should pay attention to linen/bed sheets that are offered to guests. Everything else appears fine to me.

Hotel Rooms are average. They didn't have geysers in room and were providing hot water only between 7 to 9 morning and evening. The kitchen was very slow in processing orders. They didn't provide kitchen service on 31st Dec. Location is near mall road (walkable 10-15 mins). Have stayed in better hotels with much better service at the price paid for this one.

I was under the notion that in Darjeeling hotel rooms are generally a little small, but this hotels' rooms were just the opposite. Nice big well lit comfortable rooms, very spacious, 24 hours warm water with a nice view of the surroundings. Special thanks to the team, they are very polite, lovely and were a great host to us.

We were tired by the time we reached the the hotel. We had called them in advance stating that we were traveling with kids and needed our rooms to be ready. They gave us rooms that were dark and sub-standard and not the kind of rooms that we had booked on MakeMyTrip. We had to argue to get some decent rooms. Getting hot water in this cold weather was a challenge. The hotel provides hot water only between 7 to 9. Housekpeeing was another challenge and we had to complain to MakeMyTrip to get heard.

The hotel is absolutely not what it looks like in pictures in different websites. I was given a room with stale sofas & broken bathroom doors. The room was extremely gloomy and offers no good view that they say it in different websites. The rooftop usually have no sitting and the hotel area primarily have a banquet and a Restro Bar. The hotel door closes at 10pm and the guard shouted on us when we came to the hotel after 12.30pm. The front desk guy was the only good experience and the manager acted like he is the owner. There is no hospitality in this hotel. I wont recommend this to anyone coming with family and want to have a proper staycation here. The bed was two and joined together and was extremely uncomfortable.
