Thanks to our friend Prayash, we get to know about this awesome place for our darjeeling stay . Near to the Mall , still hidden away from the hustle bustle of the city .. Its not like the tradition hotel nor like a homestay , somewhat in between giving the pros of both .. Rooms are cozy ,clean and comfortable ..The common sitting area is awesome .. Both the morning I was lucky to get the glimpses of Mt. Kanchenjunga near the entry gate, birds chirping all around , I even got chance to get few good snaps of them. Vikash our host has conceptulized the The Beatles theme very well in here .. And he is very helpful too, we were late one night, he had arranged our delicious dinner(pre ordered) in tighly packed hot cases .. Their traditional nepali thali is must try here .. We will…
I stayed here for five nights recently for some work and I must say that was awesome. Entire lodge is designed artistically showing the artistic tastes of the owners. This is well accessible from everything around. Rooms are spacious enough for two people. There is an excellent book lounge at downstairs and Beatles everywhere. Looking forward to stay again as I need to go Darjeeling again within next few months for the same work and planning to make it as my permanent base.
I stayed at the Revolver with my husband and 2.5-year-old daughter and all three of us loved it. The rooms were cosy, the staff helpful, the service excellent, and the food delicious. And all this at really affordable rates. The hotel boasts all essential facilities such as bed warmers and geyser I would specially like to mention Asenla's hospitality and warmth. Would love to return
Revolver is a lovely place to stay, and this is true of everyone, not just Beatles aficionados. Tucked in a warm and cosy corner away from the busy road that leads up to it, the Revolver offers a great view of the Himalayas (the peeks loom right behind the establishment). The staff and owners are lovely, warm, friendly and, at the same time, professional. Small touches, like a surprise basket of goodies in every room during check-in, an eclectic selection of books to read from (in your room or the common area downstairs), warm water in a flask just outside the rooms to drive away the chill, and a bed warmer (a lifesaver in winter) make the hotel more welcoming. My sister and I had a lovely stay, we cannot recommend this place enough.
I have visited in the October and stayed in Paul. It is a theme based hotel which has collections of stories. located near to taxi stands and provided good food. Rooms have all the amenities including mattress heater.
