My family and I (mother and aunt) travelled to Darjeeling for one night, and we were supposed to stay at a hotel in Upper Toong Soong Rd. But due to some issues, we weren't able to go there. We were nervous and terrified. As such, our driver brought us here. We checked the prices and immediately checked in. Thanks to the amazing service and home-like atmosphere, we were able to enjoy our stay. This hotel is managed by really polite, skilled, and helpful people and they were always ready to help when needed. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious and comfy. I am really glad that they agreed to take the booking last minute and help us out, and I would love to recommend this place to anyone visiting Darjeeling. Their food is nice, and the place is also beautiful. Even the final courtesies were really nice. Highly recommended for a 10/10 experience.…

The rooms of this homestay is decorated like a hotel. A nice lounge is also there. Mr Rinchen and his family are always ready for any service. The food of this homestay is awesome.The location of the homestay is very nice. It is just 500m away from Batasia Loop.

This homestay is fantastic. I stay here with my parents. This homestay is owned by Mr. Rinchen Ghising and his family. Rinchen Bhai is a very humble person, and he will help you with any type of problem. I am very thankful to Rinchen Bhai for his kind help and his great hospitality. I traveled to many places and stay multiple homestays, but I must say that the hospitality of Tharbaling homestay is aswam. The rooms and washrooms are too good. You can enjoy a fantastic forest view from the Balcony. Their food quality is very good. If you love birding you can find many birds here in the backside forest. I continued my birding there for 1.30 hr and found the following species. Rufous Turtle Dove, Green-backed Tit, Ashy-throated Warbler, Chestnut-crowned Laughingthrush, Rufous Sibia, Red-billed Leiothrix, Common Rosefinch, Black-throated Tit. I heard the multiple calls of Large Hawk-Cuckoo but can't manage the photograph. If you are traveling by self car or bike , kindly contact with Rinchen Bhai for arrange parking. You can find road side parking in this place. I will recommend this place for any type of trip.…

Exemplary hospitality exhibited by the host's family. Mr. Rhizing was friendly and so was the shy canine friend Jack. The food was lip smacking good and the serving size was robust! We specially enjoyed the squash dishes! Rooms were pretty neat and views of the foggy abyss from our window and the adjacent balcony kept us mesmerized. The occasional honk of the legendary Darjeeling Himalayan toy train negotiating the Batasia loop entry will surely bring out the child in you!

We ( two families ) enjoyed most ever at this home stay compared to our hotel stay so called 4 star hotel. They treat guest as good as we are their home guest & look after small request. Food is too delicious & home made. Staff behaviour is so polite that they made us feel like at home. Location is so good , you can do many local site seeing from this place. Room size , cleaning & ambiance is too good 👍. I would recommend to all family & people who are looking for home away from home must watch 👍 this place & feel the difference. It's really amazing pleasent experience to stay here .
