Poor service, even basic amenities like bathroom slippers are lacking. Cheap soap, shampoo form the bathroom toiletories. The entrance is dirty and is a steep climb. No complimentary breakfast. Bed quality is good but rooms lack any view and the hotel is not accessible by vehicle. Not a good choice.

The Hotel was Good I had a great stay that offers excellent five-star service. Everything from the service to the rooms and staff were amazing. The hotel is the best in the city with genuinely warm, polite and diligent staff.The food is great with a variety of cuisines cooked authentically to original tastes.Nice and clean Rooms and Washrooms. I would definitely recommend this hotel for it's well trained staff, modern ambience and good food.

Very Good property at around 600 mtrs from the famous Chowrasta. It's a new property with very clean and spacious rooms and washrooms. The food had limited menu in the restaurant. However food was tasty and Service by this guy named Tshering was excellent. They also have a Spa. The Spa Therapy was good. Overall an excellent property.

Quiet.. clean.. Peaceful Rooms are specious.. 24 hours hot shower .. good beddings.. power points has to be improved.. fantastic view of mountains and Darjeeling city. Easy access banks, ATMs, restaurant, hospital. Good place for family.

I booked Dinner in Sanderling Hotel Darjeeling,through makemytrip as an offer attached to my booking at Central Nirvana Darjeeling with a charge of Rs 695 for 1+1 dinner. Hotel refused the booking ,when I went there on 12th March, 2019 with my family.The booking was fully refundable upto 31.03 2019, but from the app it is not possible to cancel the booking. I tried for online chat,it failed, tried to mail,failed. I think they will not refund me.My advice to all not to book dinner in that hotel through makemytrip offer. It is just a fake. LIked the place very much. Located very close to the Mall. Very clean and classily decorated. If you stay at the topmost floor you can see The Kanchenjunga right from the hotel window. There will be stairs, but when you visit a hill station you are expected to climb. The hotel manager there was very helpful, arranged all our rides for sightseeing and back to NJP etc below whatever the rate was there in the taxi stand (we checked). Food is a bit costly, avoid if possible. Anyway, when you are in Darjeeling you don't eat hotel food. Overall, I definitely recommend it.

We visited darjeeling on 23rd and 24th of Jan and to be honest our experience wasn't so great. First of all the location wasn't very impressive. We had to walk through a dark alley to reach the hotel which wasnt a good experience. We climbed 5 storeys after a promise of a wonderful and luxurious rooms but to our dismay the rooms were way below our expectations. They looked dated, smelled funny, overall not a very nice place to spend the night in. However, the biggest letdown was one of its attendents Mr.Sohail Akhtar. We asked for an extra blanket as the night started to get chilly, his exact words to our request was "sb aapko de dnge to baki ko kya denge". For a person who is in service industry, he was absolutely a disaster. But to our disappointment, things didnt end here. On the morning of our departure, we requested the hotel manager to arrange for our luggage to be carried away to the taxi. Again Mr.Sohail had to intervene and quote "aise hi road pe chor dete h" and that too right infront of us. This angered all of us and led us to have a little scuffle with him. I recommend strict against him. The only good thing to mention here was the attitude of Mr. Chandan Sarkar, the hotel manager. Very well behaved, courteous and prompt. Even came down with us to help us board the taxi. To sum it up, staff courteousness can even make it up for a bad hotel experience.…

1. The hotel is situated too much inside the city area and is not surrounded by good location.2. The room service is too bad, they don't receive the phone many times.3. Their room heater was not working at times, we were cold in the room.4. Theres too much electricity problem in this area.5. Manager is rude sometimes.6. Water heater needs to be replaced.7. Food is also ok ok types. Theres not much variety, everyday we used to have same dishes at breakfast.
