I am a cyclist from Brazil and spent some days there. The guesthouse is very clean, nice location, very helpful staff, quiet space to rest. The best price in Chennai with good service and quality. Highly recommended! best wishes
Outstanding value budget hotel, clean and quiet rooms, plenty of helpful staff, efficient and well run place; good wifi though mostly restricted to the lobby. Recommended budget hotel, good rooms with attached bathroom, particularly now the hostel choice is more limited
I'm a regular visitor of this property. Excellent in budget hotels around in Chennai. Very good staffs and very helpful. Room sizes are ok. Very comfortable. this is one of my favourite hotel in low budget.
I stayed with my friend for a weekend...we felt very great from the beginning till the end ...FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL MANAGERS ...the room was very clean and comfortable...we were so happy with our stay and finally felt sad to leave the place 😍😍😍 everyone please take an attempt to stay here 🤗
BEDBUGS!!! the bed was fully infested. No mosquito nets, not hot water in the shower. The worst guest house I've ever stayed in India. The price is not worth it. With my partner had to change the guest house at 3.00am. We couldnt sleep for the bedbugs and mosquito bites.
The worst guesthouse we have ever stayed in India. We had to live at 3.00 am because the bed was full of BEDBUGS. We asked for refund but they wanted to change us the room. This is not how things work: you don't ask for money and then give the worst room just in case the guest doesn't realize the bed is full of BEDBUGS, and then if it realizes, you offer the nice room. Just gave us like 30% refund. No mosquito nets, not hot water on the shower, shower not working properly.
If you are budget traveller then this hotel is a good option. Almost on the main road where anybody can avail transportation like cab/auto/bus. Marina beach also within 2 KM. Two/ three nights okay for this hotel. 1) They have parking facility also. 2) Staffs are helpful. 3) Rooms are spacious.TV is kind of old model. Go for newer side rooms. 4) They have lift facility 5) They do not have in house restaurant. But nearby lots of restaurants are there for veg and non veg items. 6) They have tied up with tour operator, sitting along side the reception. One thing that they should think about the drinking water. They have only facility for mineral water or Water Jar that needs to be purchased. Normal water should be provided at free of cost as one of the essential needs.
Not as good as some people say, rooms are just ok for the price (they gave me a single for 600 rupees), but not very clean and well maintained. The pluses: location in Chennai is very good and they change currencies at almost the day's rate without commission. Check-out is at 24 hours from your time of arrival. It's ok for one or two nights in Chennai, but don't expect too much and avoid if you're looking for a neat clean and posh place.
A no-nonsense hotel with extremely helpful management staff. The owners come to the aid if foreigners have medical or other emergencies. Fre wifi available in ground floor only. The lift is old fashioned and is a bit inconvenient. Rooms are spacious and kept tidy. Located in triplicane, one of the older parts of Chennai, you can feel the pulse of its inhabitants there, but very near the newer and posh Chennai. Overall, paradise guest house is a budget friendly, good experience.
It was a comfortable stay at the Guest house. the staff was helpful. No problems faced during stay. Rooms were clean. AC was not so effective though. Overall a decent hotel. Amout that was charged was also ok. We were a family of 3+1 stayed for 2 days.
