Good value for money, especially for the mid-range budget business traveler! the restaurant is excellent for their thali (platter) fixed menu south-Indian and north-Indian meals. They have a couple of neat lawns allowing for outdoor event!

The hotel is nestled between between the two railway stations of Egmore and Madras Central. It is an old property. They do not make hotels like this any more. A large property, sprawling lawns and entrance way. large rooms with high ceilings, spacious bathrooms- all speak of the bygone era. All though the hotel is old, it has retained its...

It is a one of oldest property at Chennai. A big open fish aquarium at gate..surprised me by the size and number. Room quality, washroom is not all good. Staff is courteous but being budget hotel it seems to the point service. AC was okay. Only good thing is its safe, large area and great restaurant with authentic Chennai food....

The idlis and the dosa are superb, the service though a bit tacky but the food compensates with loads of parking makes a place worth while. A heavenly place for vegeterians .The south Indian meal/Andhra meal is like a must do for the authentic experience.

Situated in an excellent location with good parking area, During visits to chennai have never missed a thali lunch here. Now the restaurant interior has become old/bad , food served is bland , cold & served unhygienic. Few Service Staff are rude during servings & pass dirty comments when we ask for replacements .Will never visit again

The food was horrible, sambhar and rasam was over so they added water and served. Poppadoms were not crunchy, the list can go on. The worse...

Hey, I stayed in this hotel for 2Nights/ 2Days. Service was very good & cleanliness of the room was overall Ok, but still needs improvement. Being a very old hotel, the buildings resembles the same. It was air conditioned and the security of the hotel is appreciated. You get hot water round the clock and the food at your door...

Stayed for two days and enjoyed. Hotel is vast and looks a locality. Rooms are ordinary and comfortable. South food is enjoyable and tasty; add low price and restaurant is a big plus. Will stay again for food and evening stroll in hotel campus.

I have been here before also but now the prices of this hotel have risen sharply as compared to the services which you can avail at many other better hotels at a competitive price. The main attraction of this hotel is its food which is extremely famous but this time, I was not convinced about this also. All in all...
