This place is actually taking people for a ride by advertising itself as a posh location near the airport and for any unsuspecting guest this is a nightmare. I happened to spend a night here on my way aborad from the chennai airport and the location was the only convenience. All other experiences at this hotel were pathetic.
Lots of mosquitos, bad staff, very cogested room and smelly linen (as in damp and not well dried).
The food was manageble though there were not many varieties available, but the hotel itself was not wort the price it charged. At one point when I was complaining to the front desk they got rude enough to ask me to vacate if I was not happy which goes to show that they have enough customers to con.

Its location near the airport is a big advantage - ideal for a night's stay when transiting through Chennai wth an early morning flight to catch! The hotel arranges airport transfers as well. Have used the hotel twice in the last six months, the last stay being in November 2014; not used the restaurant though so cant comment on the food. Average quality rooms - Ok for the modest price being paid.

I stayed in this hotel on 22-Feb-2015, as I had a flight to catch at 6 in the morning (reporting at 4 am!). The hotel staff set an alarm for me to get up in time, and also served tea in the room. That was welcome! My room was clean, which was positive. However, there were plenty of negatives- noisiness for one. The hotel being on the main road, the noise from traffic continues all day/ night. There is AC in the room, but I preferred to use only the fan. Beds were very small indeed. Tall people and fat people alike will find it incovenient :) I'm neither, but yet I found them a bit small to my comfort. The breakfast and lunch were pathetic. Both breakfast and lunch are served buffet, dishes look like what they are supposed to, but taste horrible! The hotel arranged a car to drop me to the airport in the morning, which was convenient.

I stayed in this hotel only for 5 hrs with my very old parents. Really pathetic place to stay.This hotel is very near to airport, so its easy to be cheated.The main issue is the ROOM. Bathroom is not cleaned, full of dirt,Close set is dirty,Full of mosquitoes,Bed sheet is not clean,Ac will be cut off all the time,Not even on switch is working, Fan regulator not working, so it will work only in 5,My parents had really tough time.Only good thing was, we asked tea by night 1 am and we got good TEA.Not parking area.Pathetic place to stay.

Overall bad experience & taking 100% amount while doing check in & later forgot all services. Room are too small & smelling. Irresponsible staff, make false promises & wont pick up the phone once u gotten check out

Disgusting staff. Run down hotel. A joke. Went there for a meal. They treat you like they are doing you a favour. Stay clear from this torture chamber. The only plus is the proximity to the airport. There are better options down the road. Radisson and Trident.

If you want only night stay near Chennai Airport and not spending money in 5 star hotels in the vicinity then this is good. The hotel has clean & big rooms with required amenities, (dusting of 'not frequently used' spaces of room could have been better). Toilet is not that good but clean enough for couple of uses and a shower. Free airport pickup & drop is good in toyota innova and almost in time. Restaurant is good with reasonably priced food. Complementary breakfast suffices your requirement. Ask for password for free wifi to day shift reception employees, night shift people cant tell you. Cost is bit high for such hotel but considering location near airport, complimentary pick up, dont have to go out to city (so no jam) and other hotels (like trident etc) are costlier than this, cost seems ok.
I feel within same operational cost with managements focus & attitude, the hotel can serve much better.
Ask for road facing rooms.

Good hotel,best part is it's near to the airport. Wi-Fi is fast, staff is friendly, rooms are well maintained beautiful view of metro and flights coming to the city is easily visible. Moreover food was very good.

We booked in Mount Manor hotel thru IBIBO website because of its close proximity to airport as we had to catch a flight next morning. Bed was very comfortable, sheets were clean and floor was spotlessly clean. Morning Newspaper provided. Staff are very polite, attentive and courteous. No complaint. Free breakfast provided by hotel, buffet style. From cereal to toas,bread,butter,jam,eggs (any style) to Indian style idli,sambhar, puri etc. were provided. Restaurant is very clean, food provided for dinner for us was excellent. Crockery used was spotlessly clean and of very good quality. The hotel maitre'd as well as waiters are well-trained, speaks well, courteous and attentive. Free pick up and drop off were provided by the hotel also. In one sentence if I want to sum it up I will say we had a wonderful experience in the hotel and if I visit Chennai again, I will definitely stay at the hotel.
