We stayed here for 9 days during our recent trip to Chennai. Its a decent place to stay offering good value for money. Listed below are some opinions based on our stay. Pros: 1. The place has a 24 hour reception which we found to be quite handy as we checked in quite late at night. 2. Breakfast is included as part of the package. Though a bit cold on some days, it was mostly good. 3. The apartment is located on a well lit street & it felt pretty safe. There's a small eatery next door & shops nearby for quick needs. 4. The staff were friendly & helpful and offered good customer service. 5. The room offered to us was quite spacious with a king size bed, big enough to sleep a family of 4. Cons: 1.There are no lifts at the facility. Could be an issue for the elderly to climb up the stairs. 2.There are no microwave ovens to re-heat outside or your own food. 3. We had a couple of maintenance issues. Water supply to our room was cut off early one morning & we had to raise the issue a couple of times before it was attended to. On another occasion, the air-con stopped working for a few hours. Both these were minor aberrations in an otherwise positive stay. Would recommend this place & will stay again when we are in the city.…
Thi is the only good hotel available in Korattur and it Good overall. Can't expect more from this hotel as it is the only hotel with good rooms in a small popular area like Korattur. Good: Location Service and staff Breakfast as compliment Rooms Bad: Little expensive No working wi-fi Breakfast has only idli (south Indian food)
We had booked a room for a couple of days and the first day itself the Aircon started leaking and was very noisy and not to mention the mosquitos, when we complained we were shifted to a smaller room but at least this time the Aircon was working fine, but the bathroom was not clean enough or may be we noticed it because of the light colored flooring. The bathroom door was terribly dirty that we had to use a tissue to close the door. The second room was pitch dark at 9 am in the morning as there was no window to let any light in. The one thing that we liked is the customer service, all the people who were there were polite and humble and did what we asked. In spite of all the inconveniences we faced the room charge was higher, same rate for the bigger room and the smaller room. Overall was not a pleasant stay as expected by looking at the pictures online.…
Rooms are clean and comfortable food is also available near to this hotel excellent stay I must recommend it to all. Staff is also very good Ambattur estate is also on a walking distance a must visit stay for business purpose In all the complete stay was superb
Have been here couple of times. My friend had booked the hotel on behalf of me. The first time I was there, it was good. Staff was courteous, place was clean. Good ambience. The next time it was much more better. Was given warm welcome, the room was great, as hygiene as always, food was good. Overall experience was great.
When I think about complaints, there weren't many. The rooms are nice and comfortable, the lighting is just right and the beds are better than average. It is the additional promises that one does that really brought me down. Breakfast and wi-fi. A breakfast which is limited and a quantity appropriate for a 10 year old, is no breakfast at all, and when it comes to wi-fi, the speed was as really was not up to the standard you expect in rooms like these. So yes, if it's just the stay then it would have been a higher rating.
good experience, if you have work in Ambatur or either you are searching some cheap budget good hotel. this is the choice only. Little far away from the City however, Korattur railway station is at walkable distance from which you will get the local train for Chennai Central Station and Mid Station. The hotel is a service appartment and sharing auto, buses are easily available due to location its in main road. 100% recommonded if you have your office work near to ambatur area or you can travel in chennai with the help of buses or train.
I stayed here on a two night stop-over on the recommendation of my friend who lives in Chennai. I was impressed with this little gem of a hotel/serviced apartment. The staff were accommodating:- they allowed me to have my friends over until the wee hours of the morning, my room was cleaned on request to suit my busy schedule and I was allowed a very late check-out as my flight was at midnight. It is also located in the very hip and burgeoning suburb of Anna Nagar which was convenient for me to run errands and shop in the short time I was in Chennai. I would stay here again just for the flexible and accommodating staff.
