We went to park avenue as a resting place after flight and then again as a central hub before flying out. The staff was super friendly getting us extra towels and other toiletries we had forgotten. The restaurant is right there so it made our very convenient to go there so we could stay rested. If you are looking for a fancy place this is not it but if you are looking for rest and 24 got hot water which is hard to find in India this is your place.

We stayed for hospital purpose, the staff everyone is taking care everything. Every day the staff organize the tuktuk on time to hospital and timely food for elderly people. Thank you so much Hotel Park Avenue and we will come back/ will recommend everyone

We stayed 04 nights at Park Avenue Hotel in Chennai during our visit in Chennai on Jan 2020 from 12 Jan 2020 - 16 Jan 2020. It was a very good experience. The rooms, facilities, foods, location, amenities and overall services was very good with high level Standard. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The Staff's behavior and services was excellent and friendly. We got excellent services, help, support and cooperation from the hotel staffs. The food in the restaurant was also very good, delicious and tasty. We location of the hotel is also very good. We enjoyed each and every moment of staying at Park Avenue Hotel, Chennai. This hotel is overpriced for the service rendered. I got a 13% discount over its tariff from Agoda. Gone to visit Shankar netralaya so choose this location and the hotel. Room found pathetically small but well maintained. Staff are supportive to the extent. Restaurant service is very good. Somewhat not user friendly car hiring system. My visit to Shankar netralaya also turned into a non fruitful. Will avoid this hotel in next visit.

Excellent accommodation near Apollo Hospital, Greams road, Chennai, located in prime location. Clean bed, toilet with proper hygiene. The staff was good, and the service was quick. They have one authentic Kerala restaurant, popular in Chennai.

Awesome experience staying in the luxurious hotel like this. Everything is just mind blowing. The rooms are excellently furnished, food is really yummy and the service is beyond comparison. The view from the room gives a peace of mind. I will suggest everyone to stay here.

Points for consideration:
- the rooms & bathrooms are well maintained - full marks for overall hygiene and cleanliness. Room come with electronic access secured safe - was useful in keeping important belongings in our absence. The rooms have smart card access which is both stylish and convenient.
- the hotel serves a good breakfast spread (Indian) ready as early as 7:30 in the morning!
- Free Wi-Fi with both good download & upload speeds (approx. 2+ Mbps)
- the staff is prompt and attending.
- one of the satisfying option for a mid budget traveler visiting Chennai
- location of this hotel helps remarkably esp. if you are on a visit to Chennai for a specific purpose
e.g. visiting US Consulate or have important meeting / an appointment
- ideal for solo / couple and even a family of three with a child
Food:
We tried fish delicacies and veg Biryani -- the food and the service is great. A full course meal of two would cost around INR 800+
Staff Behavior:
The staff definitely needs a special mention. Each one from the front desk to the security personnel have been very courteous throughout.
Any particular incident that impressed us?
Yes - on the day of checkout, we were late by an hour. But we were given free late checkout by the front desk at no extra cost. We could also store some of our medicines in their fridge. Given limited parking space, the valet parking service helped indeed.
Final Note:
This hotel is both well-maintained and well-priced and ideal for someone visiting Chennai for an important meeting or appointment having location in the heart of the city. The staff and service and location is great. Thanks for making our stay pleasant.

Fully carpeted area on the room floors.
We had a wonderful room with central AC, tea coffee maker, separate shower cubicle, clean toilets, very well furnished!.

I had checked into Park Avenue, on 11th April and stayed there till 15th. Trust me, this was one of those hotels which gave the warmth and comfort of a home. Not only this, the staff always ensured that you get the best service, with the least discomfort.
Since I was staying alone, I was skeptical about the security aspect, but all my doubts and worries were put to rest, by the superb behaviour of all the staff members of the hotel.
I had taken the Classic room, and despite being the most basic, it lacked nothing in terms of elegance and comfort. It was very thoughtful of them to provide a pack containing safety pins, buttons, thread and needle, rubber bands, toothpicks, bandaids , etc.
The tea/coffee arrangement too was very comfortable along with the Daily provision of bottled water.
The restaurant was also sufficient in variety and quality of food.
The best part was the nominal price of in-room catering, since the quality of food was exceptional. I being a vegetarian, never faced any problems as regards quality or quantity or variety of the food.
As regards, cleanliness and hygiene I give full marks to this hotel, since both the room and the washroom was impeccably clean ALWAYS .
Location wise, this property is in a very good and safe location, pretty close to markets and malls. It amply served my purpose.
The general ambience and decor of the room as well as the hotel was very aesthetically and tastefully done, and I will always encourage my friends and relatives to stay here, when they are in Chennai.

We booked through Cleartrip for a standard Delux room. Standard rooms are small .. but the things that matter most .. that's the bed & bathroom are super clean. Also when we arrived we were upgraded to a bigger room at no cost .. so absolutely no complaints. Rooms are good. Again i repeat .. very clean & neat !!
