Where do I even start . Please read the pointers below.. 1. The hotel looks extremely shady. 2.the front office guy in the night needs to learn to behave.. he is extremely rude and a classic example of a person who hates what he is doing.. 3. I want to know how do they call the hotel refurbished because it is clearly not.. 4. The room is still okay.. heights was when the rain water literally started pouring in inside the room.. I can go on and on and on... But for now.. please fix these issues first..
Visited with family and advise others to avoid unless the management takes corrective action to restore this place. Pros: 1) room size is good 2) was allowed to extend stay till 4pm, but there could be a reason you will understand from the below Cons: 1) the place has been left to shambles 2) no security guard at the entrance 3) hardly any staff to serve guests. We had one person who took our luggage and then he was serving at the restaurant as well. The same person trying to manage all this. 4) did not see any other guest in the hotel 5) the place was dark and eerie 6) mushrooms blooming due to dampness in the wall 7) broken switch board 8) no hand towels 9) no buffet breakfast The hotel is not worth a penny spent. #Agoda should stop selling this and the hotel should bring it down unless they are aptly staff to run the property. …
Check in was smooth and uneventful. Room spacious and very clean. Restaurant was excellent staff helpful and attentive. We were there for 2 nights and we had no complaints with either hotel or staff. Great service
We stayed at the Clarion for ine night only due to our holiday in Thailand being cancelled. The night we checked in was the same day or so that the government shut down all public spaces. So we could only enjoy meals from our room. The next day we checked out hours before our flight time and felt a bit stranded as all restaurants we shut. The beaches were a no go zone because of the heat. We went back to the hotel to enjoy the coolness of the foyer. The manageress Bianca took pity on us and offered to open the restaurant and other spaces for us to relax and be comfortable. So thank you to her awesome hospitality! I would certainly recommend the a clarion for their friendly service and hospitality
From the moment we checked in, we felt at home. After a smooth check-in, we were led to comfy and spacious rooms, we'll equipped with everything you could need. Despite there being a part shut down, Priyanka accommodated us and made us feel so relaxed and at home. She went above and beyond to ensure that we were cared for and able to enjoy a delicious meal at their restaurant. The food was excellent and well worth it.
The hotel is a wonderful place when visiting Chennai. Our experience is memorable to say the least. Especially the staff nl Preyanka. They opened the restaurant when we cannot find food places open. So much appreciated
I was stayed with my mom... Mr.sukil was taken reservation.. He was did my request all... He spoked very polite and humble... But only sadness was he was not there when I reached hotel... Then restaurant service was excellent... In hk department,there are 2 persons I forgot their names.. They also did good service... Thank you all... Ll visit again damn sure...
Very good Staff, Rooms very comfortable Stated 22 Nights Hotel Gas lively room and great ambience. Service staff is Professional and friendly i Love my Stay will definitely recommend this hotel . More over i have to appreciate the Manager Priyanka to make my Stay More and More comfortable and her Team as well Lovely Stay all the best keep going.
1 Check in is a pleasant experience and the deception to follow is beautifully masked 2 Decent rooms with good lighting and there end all the good things 3 After unpacking and going for a shower, you realise there are no towels! Yes, I am serious - not even a hand towel 4 Somehow you manage and inform Reception while going out to keep two towels as it is adouble roome. He/she will pleasantly nod and of course, do nothing 5 Exasperated upon return, you call Housekeeping and at bed-time, they condescendingly send one towel 6 We stayed for three nights and on the second day, I fought hard and got the second towel, which was promptly taken away by Housekeeping while cleaning the room - leaving only one wet towel behind! By now, you are driven crazy and you promptly go out in the market and buy your own towels 7 Next day at 0400 hours, you are rudely woken up by ear-piercing sound of marriage musical instruments. Then only you realise that this hotel also serves as a marriage hall, with the least care for acoustics 8 Food at the restaurant is average but the bar has happy hours, if that is any consolation! 9 Willing to bet they will not have a single returning customer!…
Not up to the standard. Checked in at 10 pm but the team had no idea how to proceed. Was waiting for a long time. No bell boy to assist with luggage. No glass in bathroom. Only 1 towel for 2 guests. Toilet essentials are hardly there. Lots of mosquito in the room. Breakfast was OK but guess their chimney was not working and so the entire hall was smelling of food.
