This is a large hotel with accommodating staff at every level. I stayed for three nights and was very impressed with every aspect - room, restaurants, pool and gym.
My 4th floor room was spacious, clean and quiet. The king bed was very comfortable, storage was ample, desk & chair, armchair, extra large safe, tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, large TV, heaps of power points, and fast wifi. Lighting was exceptionally good.
The bathroom was well stocked with amenities, and the large walk in shower had excellent water pressure.
The hotel has several restaurants. Breakfast is in Bazaar - faultless service and a vast array of delicious Indian and Western fare, with omelettes to order, freshly squeezed orange juice, and any style of coffee. The vegetarian Indian dishes were really authentic.
I am happy to recommend this hotel.

Grand is not only in the hotel's name but it is all over the place here. The reception staffs, the housekeeping staffs, the food service staffs and all other staffs are really co-operative and really responsive. They were just a call away anytime.
The rooms were clean and tidy with all the toiletries and complimentary items in place. They also explain which items are chargeable and which items are part of the room cost. Room has individual AC controls and various lighting presets to set the lightings are per the mood. Room also has a pin enabled locker to place valuables.
I did not try the in-room dining so not sure about that experience. However, I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at their restaurant. The food tasted really good. It was fresh and hot. Also you have extensive range of menu to choose from.
Overall, a really pleasant and great experience staying at Grant GRT and recommend anyone to consider this as one of your top options if you want to stay in Chennai.

I stayed here for 4days with my family. Property is located in the prime location and you have access to T Nagar within minutes. Staff were really courteous and helped with the needs with extra care. I ordered fresh milk for my baby quite often and the staff took feedback every single time on the freshness/taste of the milk served at the room which speaks for their hospitality. Temperature checks were done every single time and sanitizer dispensers were installed at every possible places. Housekeeping and the room serving staff were also very sweet and nice people. Overall a really pleasant stay and will definitely choose to stay here during my next visit as well

I commend the excellent service and hospitality of the GRT team. Suganya from the reception had been such great help. She always looked into out needs and ensured we had a comfortable stay. I am a regular at Grand by GRT and this hotel has always been my go to hotel when in Chennai.
My only comment would be on the buffet. Taste wise the buffet is great but maybe more options on the non veg variety. maybe more Indian curry options would be great. Especially for people like me who stay nothing less that 3 days, we notice that the dishes are similar daily. but nevertheless the food is delicious. Service during breakfast can also improve. I realise that the staff struggle a little during peak hours and we tend to get out coffees and teas coming to us late.
On the whole, a pleasant stay, excellent service and love the location. Nearby pondy bazaar and tnagar and many other places.

Just writing this review after spending one night in this awesome hotel. We are planning to check back in again this week after a short trip out of town.
The staff at this hotel have great attention to detail. The front of house staff are very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping team were so quick when sorting out bedding for our son’s cot. The staff who collected our baggage seemed so organised and efficient. The staff in the (Bazaar) restaurant are so attentive and polite. They are very accommodating when you attend with a small child.
My family agree that the buffet at Bazaar is one of the best we have encountered, and so reasonably priced for the vast quantities of quality food on offer. Breakfast is a treat! Looking forward to checking back in to experience more of the wonderful hospitality this hotel has to offer.

The room , staff and the stay where completely excellent and safe. The room was spacious Excellent hospitality The staff where attentive The food was great (Dim Sum basket was a stand-out) Temperature checks were done every single time and sanitizer dispensers were installed at every possible places. I was surprised to see that they even disinfect the luggage upon arrival before check in.

We had been to this hotel two days back for a wedding function. the Lobby is excellent and rooms are also good. The Hospitality by the staff is appreciated. The food is tasty and buffet lunch & break fast had enough selections and tasty too. However one major problem with the rooms is once you come out of the room taking the room card as usual the lights goes and air conditioner start leaking. It happened to us two times both in the evening and next day morning. The house keeping guys were called and they had to wipe the water from the floor and wall. this need to be immediately rectified otherwise the guests things will get drenched.. My room number was 917. it happened to some other relatives of our group also.

The hotel needs upgrade as dirty carpets and getting quite old. Not worth staying at that property. Feels risky in these times. Also the whole breakfast and they way seating is laid down is very sad. The toiletries in shower are very basic and very budget hotel types with very basic soap and shampoo in dispensers. It’s a 2 star old property being pecked as much high end property. Complete waste of money.

Sorry for the late reply.
The hotel is in T-Nagar the most famous shopping street.
There are all kinds of eateries around the hotel. Fast food and local eateries.
But after breakfast at Grand Chennai, you wont be looking for any place to eat for the rest of the day.
Solution...visit the Hotel Gym!!
