This hotel gives you very good value for money. The rooms are clean and quite comfortable though not especially large and the staff really tries to please their guests. The location is almost perfect for those using Chennai Central railway station.

A tidy hotel, clean entrance, very near to Chennai central station. Staff is just okay. 24hr Checkin. Rooms though not large, but sized fine, neat and clean. Beds comfortable. News papers are provided early in the morning. Bathroom is clean too. Breakfast provided at restaurant at the ground floor near the entrance which is very packed with too many tables. Not much variety and not that tasty, one can even avoid it. Only thing good about this hotel is its kept neat and clean. Doesn't matter which room you choose a not much ventilation. For natural good morning sunlight try t t road facing rooms. Value for money, just average. Since it was a business trip it seems to be a fine place to stay.

Basic hotel not far from the main sights. Nothing special, WiFi was available though not fast or reliable. Rooms were clean. It is ok for few nights, though don't expect too much. The staff was always helpful.

I wanted to stay for a weekend before I travelled into another city in India. Since I am tall and had bad experiences with some Indian hotels I booked a room for two with a queen size bed. I arrived very late and was exhausted from my journey this day. When I was checking in I was asked 5 times if a girl will be coming to my room which I denied. They also wanted to keep my passport for half an hour to make copies of it. The room itself was fine but the shower was dirty and even though it was a room for two they only had 1 towel, 1 glass and not even water at all. I couldn't even look through the windows they seemed to be to the inner courtyard were some guys were very loud. On the next day a met with a friend who showed me parts of the city afterwards I wanted to show some things I saw on my journey through India but she wasn't even aloud to stay in the room for 10 minutes. The room service showed up at 6 p.m. which is a horrible time. Even though the website says that you can check out until 12 I had to check out before 10 am otherwise I would have to pay another day. Breakfast was fine but nothing special the weren't offering coffee or tea I had to ask a waiter to get some.

I am a frequent business traveler to Chennai. This was the first time that my colleague booked a room for us in this hotel. When he asked for a discount, he was told to give a mail after which they would provide the discount, which he did, but when we were checking out, they simply denied the discount, saying that they had not replied with a confirmation of the discount. We had checked out just 5 minutes late to the full 24 hr checkout time, for which they charged us an entire additional days tariff, which they finally reverted after lot of argument. Further, they had not provided us with a towel, but at the time of checkout, tried to blame us for stealing the towels, on which we offered to get our luggage checked, which they did not and we left the hotel to end our ordeal. Will never want to stay in this hotel nor would recommend it to anyone. And mind you this is not a competitors review but that of a genuine & frequent traveler.

The lactation, Manager and the hotel staff don't looks to be serve for the customers. Even a month ahead confirmed booking the manager has straight away refused to have the booking after the involvement of booking agent the matter has solved. Poor class noisy unhealthy atmosphere Don't go with family they don't help just cheat

Sir , I stayed in this hotel from 26 /11/14 to 1/12/14 . My review ; 1. Hotel is located in slum . ( see my pics )

3.Wifi is very slow ( so u cant browse )

5.Rude behavior of manager of hotel .If u complain he will ask you to go out .
Its a total waste of money .Do not believe the photos of management .Avoid this hotel at any cost .There are many good hotels available near by.

hotel is very close to Chennai Rly station but your are come in first time and not so much friendly of local language so please take the fast track taxi service or just start the walk for Periamet police station. hotel in front of periamet police station and 5 km run from Marina Beach-chennai. hotel staff is very friendly and wifi/food are so good. morning breakfast are also good with variety. we stayed here 2 nights and overall experience is excellent

I don't usually write bad reviews, but this time everything that could go wrong with my stay went wrong. First it turned out I was sharing my first room with a thriving colony of cockroaches. They swiftly transferred me to another room, where I saw only two. A couple of cockroaches had found their way into my backpack and the staff helped me kill them.
When I tried to open and lock the door in my second room, the handle was dislocated (it wasn't screwed in properly). They fixed it when I walked downstairs with the handle and offered to move me to a third room, but I declined, not wanting to pack and unpack my belongings once more (and for fear that room might be infested with bugs).
You have to put your key on the socket on the wall to switch on the electricity, but you also need the key for locking & unlocking your door. Both of my rooms had such tiny windows they were pitch black as soon as I removed the key. Bring your flashlight for opening and locking your door.
When I booked a taxi on my first morning, it was one hour late and I missed my appointment. Apparently they had misunderstood the timings I gave them. The taxi booking service at the hotel is run by a separate company and they tried to charge me 200 rupees for one extra hour, even though I had only used the cab for the agreed five hours.
To be fair, the staff tried their best to sort out my problems, but I still feel like this was poor value for money, as it's not the cheapest place on Chennai terms. The surrounding area is also pretty awful and I didn't feel like leaving the hotel in the evening. The food in the restaurant left a lot to be desired for. When I ordered chicken biryani, the chicken was bright green and still cold (they had obviously taken it from a spinach dish they'd served in the morning).
The "well-equipped health club" they advertise on their website is a tiny room next to the unfurnished roof terrace, no ac, not even a fan.
I picked this hotel based on the good reviews I read on Tripadvisor, so I dunno, maybe I was just unlucky. Hope you'll have a better luck if you end up staying here.

awesome experience of mine while visiting this hotel with my friends for a get together function (kind of reunion). had a great evening fun with friends with great hospitality from the hotel. interiors were great and luxurious space for accommodation.
