A very comfortable hotel nearby to the airport. Spent two nights with family. The hotel is gigantic and has great architecture . It is grand in every sense . Food is great enjoyed both Dinner and breakfast spread. Food is great in taste and a lot of variety to select Indian , south indian , Asian , Continental with lot of fres and live counters. Pool and Gym is great . Pool has a beautiful view of city and is quite big. A great place to spend weekend with family
Spent 10 days in the two bedroom apartments. Truly felt cared for by attentive, aware and hardworking staff. The weather was miserable heavy rains and flooding all over, the cleanliness, COVID protocols in place and the overall luxurious ambiance made it so stress free and a relaxing place to be. The properties have good management teams and supervisors. Bela from senior management helped us with our reservation that needed attention ,she arranged and coordinated staff to make our stay truly comfortable. Habib went out of his way to get us a new Mac adapter for our laptop. John at the madras cafe dining room helped us every morning we looked forward to seeing him and kismet. Panda, waited on us almost everyday too. most definitely passing the word to all my friends from the US, this Property wins my vote. don't forget to try their restaurants, Avartana spectacular!!!! Equivalent if not better than the French Laundry in Napa Valley USA. The Royal Vega was equally good. Walk up the grand stairway to the next floor ,serene areas up there to meet up and chat ,tucked away from normal traffic by lobby 🤗 you will enjoy ambiance there. Beautiful yoga room up there. We Didn't use the spa this time . Gym was wonderful and their pool area on the 46 floor was refreshing to visit everyday .…
Very nice luxurious hotel in good distance from airport. Great service at reception. Nice swimming pool area. Highly recommendable hotel. Only minor thing is the size which is huge and you cannot enter other floors for security reasons. Rooms very nice and comfortable. Will pick it again
Indeed like many reviewers, nice hotel infrastructure great. Restaurants sorely disappointing service for a 5 star Hotel Manager at royal vega informed. Very poor service, kept waiting prolonged period, didn’t receive the expected service At the cafe restaurant earlier: waiter forgot to order the cocktails and chased up and discovered shift finished
The hotels looks stunning from outside. The lobby is majestic however the rooms are dingy, unclean and old. The service is poor. Rooms don’t get made on time. The hotel has great restaurants though. Better to stay at the Leela, when in Chennai.
It's been an amazing experience... The room was such a beautiful one... Champa the lady on the front desk was very kind and helpful. Can't say enough, The grandeur of the hotel says so much, can't spell out words for the beauty you have maintained... loved the coffee at the café Mercara, moreover the dinner experience was amazing... Have visited Ottimo a few times earlier where chef Abhishek never misses a chance to give us a "wow" experience but through his recommendation tried the southie progressive 'Avartana', is a restaurant experience of a lifetime... Visited the restaurant with a colleague and both of us were engrossed in food more than business to discuss. No guest should leave the hotel without dining here once... And hopefully there are more of the same coming across all ITCs in India... Chef Harish has been so kind and visited multiple times through the courses... A pretty lady Mounika who took care of our table was constantly there to cater. Had an early morning checkout... So couldn't experience the breakfast but will be coming soon... Do keep in mind... I love amazing rooms and the best of food Experiences... Thanks for great time at the Hotel to everyone who has contributed to my experience.…
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We were given a warm welcome with an upgrade to an apartment with kitchen. Amazing apartment with a well equipped kitchen, cozy bedroom, patios with spectacular views of the Guindy Race Course. The staff here are so polite and courteous and made our stay even better. Our most favorite things were the wonderful breakfast buffet at Madras Pavillion and the happy hour at the Resident's Lounge. The breakfast spread was fantastic with so many cuisines to choose from. Don't miss their freshly made Pesarattu and Filter Coffee. The Resident's Lounge has a great selection of drinks - loved all the cocktails especially the one with Nannari sherbeth. Delicious appetizers and truly wonderful service. The pool is also lovely especially for a dip at night. Highly recommend ITC Grand Chola for a luxurious stay.…
Overall experience was great and Rupali at Peshawari restaurant and Praveen in housekeeping were excellent. The breakfast place is a bit too crowded but given the mammoth size of the hotel, this is quite understandable
Not far from Chennai airport. Big and clean room. Easy to order room services using digital devices Delicious room service food. Good service from all people. SURAJ at buffet especially. Recommendes and would come here again next time. Thanks.
Enjoyed everything, Specially the hospitality of Suraj, The specialized 28 state taste, Good taste of Mutton briyani, Paneer Tikka Milagu rasam, American Sweetcorn, Love to visit again. Thanks for the wonderful experience
