Visited this place for the second time in December, 2017. When I stayed here in 2014, the place was better maintained and was good. The staff here is very friendly and will try their best to attend to our requests. Even though they don't speak tamil, can manage to communicate. I made the reservation via mail and when we landed the place for ready. Booked this place with the same expectation as it was in 2014. But sadly got disappointed a bit. The place was not clean and tidy. Linens were pretty old. AC did not have a remote and was manually operated. Sadly wifi also was not available. If this place is maintained well, then it is a good place to stay.
These guys are not at all professional. I had booked their stay through GoIbibo. On reaching I was first told that the booking wasnt confirmed by the hotel but since I had reached they would accomodate me in a "sister" concern of theirs. When I created a hue & cry by calling the GoIbibo guys and the GoIbibo guys contacted their owner, they then accepted that they were full but accepted the booking. All this is happening at night 11pm. Finally after a lot of wrangling they accomodated me in their "sister" concern nearby. this is an absolutely sh****ty place - wouldnt pay Rs 500/- to stay here. Bathroom door has no lock, not even toiletries kept & no kitchen! I would never set foot in that place again!
I was finding renting rooms from hotels quite expensive considering majority of hotel accommodating only 2 members +1 child per room and we were 5 hence I looked for serviced apartments and found this one where the reviews were decent. Overall experience was good, staff was generous, courteous and helpful and genuinely tried to fulfill our requests. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment, rooms were spacious, kitchen has gas connection, refrigerator, microwave, etc. Cons: 1. Safety part is a bit compromised, no guards (One common guard for the building who is barely to be found) 2. Not recommended for sole stay or couple as we found few rouges standing outside the building (giving weird looms) 3. Our price included breakfast and we assumed a buffet spread but it was limited to just idli's in the name of breakfast (Not appreciated) 4. Rooms were misty and dusty…
Very peaceful and quite rooms, considering this is right at the heart of the city, and next to an extremely busy intersection besides Crowne Plaza! I looked around and none of the rooms are the same (unlike other hotels I've stayed at). Luck should favor you if you need the best room (ofcourse as I mentioned, each room is uniquely styled). TVs are huge and AirTel DTH works its magic. South indian breakfast is a good bargain (include in room tarriff). Good wifi, and cordial service by the boys (they don't know much tamil, but you can communicate effectively). I've met the owner, and he's a gentleman. Goodluck!
Yeah, the title might be suggesting I'm marketing for these guys, but then you should stay here to experience the hospitality. I hail from Delhi and upon a friends recommendation stayed at this apartment (also, this was pretty close to Apollo Hospitals where my niece was undergoing surgery). His main recommendation was for the complimentary breakfast on offer. All of the service staff here are from north, and I didn't miss my home cooked lunch for a day, and also feasted on the sumptuous south-indian Idlis and Dosas :) Probably, anywhere else my breakfast alone would have cost me more than a couple of hundred bucks. The rooms are just as they are in the photographs, and internet connectivity is superfast. The owner I believe has a taste for gadgets, and I've moved 2 rooms (just to check them out), and each of them has a different LED / LCD monster TV with ofcourse hindi channels :) My wife initially wanted to take the apartment with the kitchen, but as we had to frequently attend to our niece, we ended up eating our lunch at the hospital. The dinner they served at the apartment was excellent too, and not too expensive. They had Rotis, Subzee, and Curd rice. Please note, there are a lot of hotels nearby too. Swiggy is pretty popular in Chennai and they can serve up to your taste (but then not as inexpensive as the food here).…
Been there with my friends for a night stay. Nice location, silent area, WiFi was excellent. But there is no intercom facility, bathroom is ok, no towels. There were two beds in the room, ac cooling is adequate for one bed only as another is little bit inside where no fan is there. Refrigerator is not maintained properly.
I had booked in advance many rooms in this apartment and a confirmation mail was also received by me accepting the booking . But later at the time of occupation i was told there is no room available.Even showing the confirmation mail had little effect and there was no courtesy from the staff. I strongly recommend to avoid this place
Worst experience. The apartment was loaded with bed bugs and mosquitoes. The staff was unprofessional in attire and behavior. I will strongly recommend staying away from this property. The bath towels and beds were very dirty. Price wise very expensive for the facility and service. Would recommend Residency Towers that you can get for comparable price and great ambiance and service. After I complained they still charged me for 1 night even though I spent only 5 hours. Stay away.
KIngs Serviced Apartments are very conveniently located in Chennai off the main Anna Salai(old Mount Road) and on the corner of the road diagonally opposite the Crowne Plaza Hotel(former ITC Adyar Park Sheraton).I had made a booking through Agoda and was given the room on the penthouse, which was large ,had a double bed and an extra bed which can be for children in the case of a family. Though it was airconditioned the room was barely cool as the summer was intense in the month of June.and I needed to turn the fan full on to be just about comfortable. I did not have any meals but asked for a cup of tea which took some effort as the service was really slow and the intercom phone to the pantry took a long time to be answered and more often there was no response at all.So forget about room service. The bathroom was large and just about acceptably clean but no toiletries and I even used my own soap but a towel was provided. They do have rooms on the lower floors and I might give it a try again if my visit requires me to be in the vicinity again…
I was stayed in bawa street apartment in Chennai. Wow, have a nice ambiance!! The property is located in prime location of Chennai, where ever we want can access easily. There are lot of nice stuffs in this apartment. The bed is good, the water supply is good, air condition working well, nice service. some cons to say, the kitchen don't have exhaust fan so if cooking the vapor will come in hall. The place is oasis of chennai. Actually i was prepared for 2 days stay but i was stayed 4 days here. Excellent. keep it up!!
