Excellent place to stay and great location. Special thanks to hotel staff and I recommend this place for pleasant stay. Friendly staffs and great location. One of the best place which needs to be visited.
The rooms in have been realised completely using original pieces of design and are taken care of down to the last detail. Refined style, play of colours and precious materials make the hotel a real jewel of contemporary design. The presence of marbles, precious fabrics and inlaid wood furniture has been designed to guarantee guests maximum comfort and relaxation. Elegant and refined, some rooms overlook the side of the Gallerie dell'Accademia, or have a partial view of Giudecca Canal. All rooms are treated with taste and refinement: the Deco furnishings typical of the 1930s and 1940s, fine Bevilacqua fabrics (created to designs of delicate beauty) and doors with geometric patterns each different from the other (and executed with extraordinary cabinet-making work) are just some examples that make Ca 'Pisani a unique place of its kind. The marble finishes, the high ceilings of the rooms on the first floor, the original beds of the 1930s and 1940s (embellished with silver headboards), the bamboo floors, the exposed beams of the rooms on the top floor, the stairs in wood and glass and the door handles designed ad hoc are all meticulously studied elements, they are the result of a precious work of craftsmanship.…

I booked the Chennai Residency through a hotel booking site based on good reviews. I called the hotel to confirm our arrival time due to a flight delay, and was told by hotel staff that the hotel is 'only for Indians'. I now have to call the booking site to have the booking cancelled. Disappointed.
I would like to thank all the Residency team first. It was a very wonderful experience in my past few year and a memorable one. The food & service (room service and restaurant) did a great job. Also the house keeping make sure my room was neat and tidy. Keep up boys !! Great job! Cheers , & see u soon.
if your business trip its nice place and its costly with rooms but quality and services its good. If your looking for just trips you can find more star hotels but quality and services. If your looking couple with candle light dinner its nice place
Hotel is bright, clean, modern. The taxi driver will know just where it is when you say 'next to Vanimahal', an arts center. This is important, because before we knew this landmark, the taxi driver took us to the Residency Towers, a related hotel. But the Residency Towers provided a shuttle car to get us to correct hotel. The hotel provides a nice breakfast buffet. One night we wanted my daughter to stay overnight with us, and for a modest fee the hotel brought a roll-away bed for her. We went to Bangalore for a week, then returned to the Residency for one last night. The hotel stored some of our luggage for us during that week.
Very good location - center. Not noisy, - because on a lane. Nearby a few floors mall. A/c works well, good choice of tv channenls. Cost 2400 I Rs - double. Idly house on a street- 100 yards off. I really enjoyed it!
One of the professionally run hotel with good ambiance and good trained staff. Chillis restaurant is good apart from roof top restaurant. Approach to hotel is good as centrally located. The business center is also good in terms of capacity and aquas-tics .
A good hotel for a quick stop over. There are way better options in Chennai, but there are not that many in this budget. Don't look for super luxury, it is purely functional. The staff is very pleasing and accommodating aswell.
