I stayed in this Hotel for couple of days during a business trip. I was comfortable with the accommodation,food, room service, and cleanliness. The staff is courteous. I Personally feel, it is one of the good Hotels in Chennai at reasonable price. I will surely prefer to stay again during my next trip to Chennai.

Had to book this hotel in the last minute as I had to extend my day in Chennai along with my wife. I reached egmore and started searching for hotels and most of them declined to give me a room as we don't have luggage i.e. very surprising how would one have a luggage when they are for a day trip and had to stay back in the last minute. With suspicious look at my wifey (i wd have ducked them then n there if had been more than a sec) they checked our cancelled flight tics etc and offered the room for 3500. Dinner and breakfast is complimentary and they are ok for Indian standards. Room is decent so are the faclilites. Would recommend for a day or two if one had to stay close to egmore else there is nothing much to offer.

I have made the booking confirmation by mail & phone. When I landed, there is no room. Be cautious when you go with family, you may end up in trouble to find the room nearby areas at last moment. I have written in their complaint note book, so far, no response.

This place is not so far from the heart of Chennai and its proximity to Egmore railway station makes it a good option for any traveller. The rooms are pretty good for the price. Although I agree that the beds should be larger. The basic necessities of any traveller in form of toiletries and stuff were neatly taken care of. The restaurant offered great food and the breakfast spread was amazing and delicious. The service was prompt and we had a wonderful experience of Chennai hospitality. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Park Plaza and we recommend this hotel to all travellers. We hope to return soon...

Chennai was just a transit point this trip: we flew in late in the evening and had an early morning train the next day. Our experience with the Park Plaza got off to a bad start when our promised airport pickup failed to materialise. A couple of calls to the hotel later and they promised the driver would be there in "fifteen minutes". Not having the patience to wait an Indian fifteen minutes (it was getting late and we had an early morning train the next day), we took a taxi from the airport at half the price of the transfer the hotel had quoted. When we made it to reception, no apology or explanation was forthcoming about the missing airport pickup. In fact, no room was forthcoming either. After five minutes of fussing around and multiple phone calls between staff members…

A small establishment (about 3 floors) but well equipped. Rooms are comfy, air con is good. It is located in a small by lane across the busy main road which leads to Egmore station (about 10 mins walk - but not if you have luggage). Good value for money

Good hotel little difficult to find but once you enter they take care of your all requirements. The service is good, the rooms look a kind but all clean. The staffs are professional, the food is good. You can go for shopping nearby, near to the bustand. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel experience find it somewhere else. Just drop in for a change.
