Starting from location..well located on main road 45 min ride from airport! Market near by cabs are easy to find as well as can be arranged by hotel if requested ! Rooms were clean spacious special mention for the man responsible for room service Mr prakash raj ! Kudus for him . Very good polite and mannered person ! Always service with smile ! Bathrooms were cleaned daily rooms are provided with tea milk and coffee sachets and complimentary water bottles! Swimming pool is also there in case you love swimming! Dining was not a good experience for me specifically, located in chennai everything they serve had south indian touch in flavors which was not good ! If you are north indian then being a 5 star hotel food is the only think they should work on. There are some standard dishes which are made specifically like the way it should be made pan world i.e butter chicken or chicken masala but here you will find south indian touch in that too..everything else was good.

Stayed three nights as a last minute choice. The hotel is centrally located close to Egmore station. Rooms are acceptable but need a Reno.Don't bother with the breakfast for the price it is a joke, cold food, poor offerings and the service it discusting and the so called restaurant is a biting flying bugs and insects. There are several other restaurants two minutes walk away at the Egmore station that are a better option! Expensive hotel with poor management but friendly helpful staff.

I stayed in this hotel recently foe about 3 days in a suite room.Hotel is located close to egmore station.Rooms are big.clean and well maintained.Front desk and room service is good.One more good thing is they give you complimentary breakfast and dinner.Only thing missing is coffee maker in rooms.If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a good location this is the place .There are number of good restaurents near by.Recommended for stay.

Staff is extremely pleasant Food is superb undoubtedly I have stayed in 100s of hotels but food is extra delicious here. I would strongly recommend this to all. Food is awesome. Bibin & Elumalai are the best staff

The Park Plaza has some things to recommend it. The beds are comfortable and the bed linen clean. The bathroom has plenty of hot water, an efficient toilet, and a good working shower. Otherwise the rooms are dreary, in fact we had to change our first room as water was running down the wall. The rooms had old locks and did not reassure us as to security. The hotel is noisy, as it is built on a triangle between three busy streets. It is supposed to have wi-fi, but that was ‘broken’ throughout our stay; we had depended on having wi-fi, so it was an inconvenience for which no attempt was made to compensate us. The attached restaurant was very inexpensive, not at all interesting but quite adequate food; we only ate Indian vegetarian. Service at the hotel was barely adequate and barely cordial. It was also cheaper than other hotels we stayed at in India, and we came to it last, so perhaps are judging it through elevated expectations, but we would not stay there again.

As I was not brave enough to stay at guest houses in India without hot water shower, westernized toilet etc, I chose this hotel. I suppose that this would be a 3-star-hotel, but it has everything: flat screen TV, mini fridge(you have to switch on when you check in, though), daily newspaper, cleaning service(clothes). I quite enjoyed staying here. Clean, roomy, good location. I had no problem while staying there.
As of today, the website is under construction, I would like to share the following information with you all here. This is what I got from them.
<Tariff valid from 1st October2008 to 30th September2009> Standard Single occupancy 2200Rs. Double occupancy 2600Rs. Executive suite Single/double occupancy 3000Rs. Extra bed / Person 500Rs.
State government luxury tax on room 12.5% will be charged extra. Complimentary Bed coffee or Tea or Milk would be served in the Room on order. Complimentary Breakfast & Dinner ONLY at PARK RESTAURANT (Buffet). Breakfast & Dinner ordered in the Rooms would be CHARGED extra. Credit cards: Visa, Master, Mastero card only.
I ate dinner and breakfast here sometimes. It looks like all veg food. For breakfast, you can have fruits and bread as well. There was blackout sometimes in the hotel, and that constantly ! but the power came back in 5 seconds. So don't panic. They gave me a room which is at the end of the corridor, there are 2 big windows in the room, which made the room very bright. I enjoyed the light :-) If you are light sleepers, this location will bother you because traffic is endless up to 0:00

We stayed at this hotel only for a night and a day (standard room). But the pleasant experience gained within the short period will certainly make us to return to this hotel in the future. Best things about this hotel are: * Clean room with excellent ventilation * Rich looking wooden floor with wall mounted LCD TV gives an impression of a 4-star accommodation * Toilet was clean and sterilized, towels replaced every day * Complimentary newspaper in the morning and evening snacks were unexpected for the price we paid * Quality and Quantity of buffet was far better than some 5-star hotels (especially for South Indians). In the buffet, they served every possible south Indian item you can imagine: Idli, Vada, Adai, Pongal, Kesari, Puttu, Dosa and Omlette (freshly made upon request), Puri etc. and the usual corn flakes, bread, juices, coffee/tea etc. * The check-in/checkout process was swift and pleasant * Hotel is situated in a great location, so close to Egmore station but still away from the traffic and noise. There were many eat-out and movie theatre options near by. * Prices of food items in the room service menu were quite reasonable.
Here is the only thing that could have been better: * Bathroom leveling was faulty. Water spreads across the bathroom when you take bath even with the shower curtains on. You need to wait till all water drains off (through another outlet) in 5-10 minutes or ask for a bath floor mat. * Switching channels takes time (Philips LCD TV)
For the money paid, we couldn't have got a deal better than this. I feel encouraged to recommend this hotel than any other 3-star hotel that may charge you in the range of Rs.3000-Rs.4500 per night. You are sure to get better stay and service for a below-3K price at this place.

Good and clean hotel, even bathroom is very clean which i really appreciate.The manager and the M.D., both are very good and friendly. More variety in the breakfast buffet is preferred. But dinner timing is upto 10:30pm only and no dinner arrangement for guests arriving at midnight.

This hotel is very decent & good with diff types of room. They have good food. If you dont want to have food in hotel then you will find lots of food outside. Also you will have good room space & quick room service.
