Kanchan Kesari Village ( so named after the owner's parents) is an ethnic theme based amusement complex where there is something for all age groups. The village is located just 15 minutes away from Jaipur on the Jaipur - Ajmer National Highway, set amidst 10 bighas of sprawling landscaped gardens. Kids can enjoy the swings & slides and be enthralled by the magic show. Ladies can host kitty parties in the Pangat which offers a leisurely view of the boating lake. Gentlemen can show their chivalry by pedaling their better halves in the self driven boats. Elderly citizens can watch over their beloved while relaxing on the hand woven village cots. Camel, the ship of the desert, is also available for your distant guests.

We had to stay overnight at Kanchan Kesari Village Resort because this hotels & Pink Pearl Resort were the nearest to the Manipal University Jaipur, where we went to get admission for our son in Engg.! Hotel Pink Pearl was totally sold-out for that night so we booked 02 Pool-View Rooms at Kanchan Kesari through Cleartrip (Trip ID 1208096848 & 1208116140)! Despite of making reservation for Pool-View Rooms, we were provided garden view rooms only! Secondly, the most horrible part of our stay was sleeping there for overnight! Doors & windows of both the rooms were shaking & shattering like some earthquake is coming! It happened regularly once a vehicle was crossing that part of the hotel! I would like to inform you that this hotel has been constructed on the edge of road and as and when a vehicle cross this area, you will feel like earthquake is coming! Because this is a main NH-8 (highway), traffic moves through-out the night at very high speed! So, you can imagine, how one can sleep there for a while even! Bed-sheets of both the rooms were torn-off very badly from several places & they get it mended also from several places even then there were some part which further needed some more work to be done! So, you can imagine that on a double bed if a bed sheet is torn-off they should replace it BUT I was very surprised to see that they know the bed sheet is severally torn-off, even they they are using it after mending it! I don't know what they trying to show-off??? may be the art-work or hand-work of their staff! I took all the photographs to keep it a proof of my claim!

Best part of this hotel is FOOD! :) Food was really great!!! They serve food in an ethnic Rajasthani way on the floor and quality of the food was also very good! Room Service was very poor! We ordered for the bed tea at 07:45 and it came at 08:15 AM..... so was the delay in the breakfast also! Once the service was started then there was no interruption!

We were in a hurry to go early in the morning but because of delay in the breakfast first then they kept us waiting for almost 30 min. just for getting our reviews for the services of the hotel on their feedback form! They did not open the gate and let us go un-till we filled that form!!!

So, apart from staying there for a night, this place is wonderful for the day use and eating-out activities!

It always surprises us that no one bothers to post a good review but a slight misunderstanding is promptly plastered all over the net. In anycase thank you for the positive points that you have appreciated. Our Food is one thing that any Jaipurite will vouch for. We will deal with the 4 critical points that you have raised 1.Type of room: There are only 20 rooms.12 are along the lenght of the pool and 8 are located just beyond the lenght of the pool yet overlooking the pool. No specific demand was made as to how close the guest wished to be to the pool. We would surely have catered to such demand. 2.Linen: The pics are self explanatory. They have been used after mending them. One could argue that this is not the norms but in the rainy season we sometimes have to fall back to such alternatives 3.Noisy in night: The noise level has increased after a speed breaker was constructed on the highway. Have you ever heard of speed breaker on NH,well frequesnt accidents forced localites to demand one. However the speed breaker is not visible at night and the traffic crosses over in full speed creating treamors.Liasoning with authorities is on to resolve this 4.Service: We request all guests to take F&B services in our main restaurant. The rooms are 500 feet away from the kitchen and hence things tend to get delayed.

We recently visited Kanchan Kesari Village Resort, and it was a delightful experience for the whole family! The resort offers a perfect blend of rural charm and modern amenities. The ambiance, inspired by traditional village life, is serene and refreshing, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The activities and cultural programs were a highlight, especially for kids. They enjoyed camel rides, puppet shows, and traditional Rajasthani folk dances. The food was another standout feature – authentic, flavorful, and served with warm hospitality.

The staff was courteous and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a cozy yet authentic village vibe.

Whether you're looking for a family outing, a corporate retreat, or just a relaxing weekend, Kanchan Kesari Village Resort is highly recommended. We'll definitely be coming back!

This was my first stay at Kanchan kaseri ,we were three families with kids. Normally i do not write negative rewiew but this time,i am writing because we booked room there with lots of expectations.Staff attitude at resort was very casual.swimming pool water was not clean and broken pieces of glass in swimming, power cut in night for almost two hour last but not the least
food in restaurant was pathatic ,you can not eat that food.no bath aminity in room when tea was served in the morning we we got cockroache in that ,rooms in 100 series are very disturbing due to horn sounds of trucks on hi ways there is is lot more to write but i think its enough. No way near to Chokhi Dhani.Management really need need to think about improving all these things otherwise it will be too late.

Sir we think you are the gujrati family from delhi which walked in without reservation and stayed with us for 3nights during the diwali holidays, your comparision with Chokhi Dhani is far fetched. The rates, the area and the facilities all are at a different scale. At our place for Rs.3900 (Dbl room,Breakfast & Dinner, two kids upto 10years) before discount you get full value of your money. We do not need to tell you what rates are charged else where and we never claim to be a luxury resort. We maintain a fairly clean pool all round the year given the footfall we have. What you may have encountered are pieces of the glass tiles that do chip off and which are routinely cleaned every morning. Power cuts are comman in rural areas but on a winter night you hardly come to know about it. There may have been a delay in starting the genset as we do not maintain round the clock reception. The noise part is due to the adjoining highway about which we can hardly do anything. Food being pathetic is something we dont believe. Service may have been slow due to staff shortage post Diwali. Getting a cockroach in the room is also far fetched and fail to understand why you did not mention these things on the guest opinion at the time of checkout or what made you write this review as an after thought

We dont claim to churn out 100% satishfied clients but do have a well set customercare system that enables guest to get their grievences heard & resolved either during their stay there or within a week of receiving the complaint. Second stay at KKV, first was with a large group from office where we booked the whole resort, second was with just my family. Both occasions, it was good stay. Do not expect this to be Chokhi Dhani, it provides the same experiences at a much smaller scale with rope acrobats, camel ride, magic show etc and not so 5-Starish experience, but good fun with kids in pool or playing or enjoying acts in evening... If you are looking for a lazy experience, good place to be... Loved that there is no TV in room... gives you that extra time with family that you otherwise spend on couch at home ;)

I had been to kanchan kesari village on 14 feb 2014 with family & friends.
We enjoyed rajasthani folk dance, magic Show, puppet show & balancing act over rope a lot.
I strongly recommend magic show & balancing act over rope show which totally enthralled us from beginning to end.
When we went to have food which was included in package...our experience was worst ever.
Due to unprofessional n unfriendly staff at restaurant , we had to wait for at-least 30 mins to be seated instead of lots of unoccupied tables during this period.
We had to have tiff with staff to get seated.
When food was served to us..we were completely shocked.
Tandoor breads were half cooked.
Interval of 15-20 minutes between each round of serving tandoor bread, rice & vegetables let us remained hungry.
Funniest moment was when we were served papadum after first tandoor bread.
I would like to give negative points on food quality & service.
Manager was not present there & when we asked staff, if we could contact manger or owner anyhow, staff behavior was little arrogant & they did not let us contact with manager or owner.
hope our complaint will be taken seriously by public relationship manager so other visitors do not face same problem.

Dear Guest-Who-Never-Visited, Just because we did not allow you to use our rooms on hourly basis does not mean you indulge in mud slinging match. You booked through an Online Portal You brought in a friend and insisted on getting her checkin as wife You did not want to show her ID details as required by local law You called up The Portal and falsely madeup a story about how badly you were treated at Reception They agreed to refund you back Sir,You never checked in,so where does the question of serving bad food arises. By the way, defamation exercise has been initiated by the management against you at the local Police thana and record of Portal booking,Guest Register and CCTV footage has been handed over to them as proof.

Kanchan keshri is an amazing escape from the crowd of city, though is only good for its location, food and cultural programs hosted at night. If your expectation includes customer service, better stay away from this place.

Management:
This hotel is run by absolutely unprofessional management with no sense of maintaining a standard or meeting the required benchmark to offer customer value for thier money.

Location:
The hotel is situated 17 kilometers from the heart of city, only feasible if you have your own car else you might not get transport from city to this place. Extremely busy Jaipur Ajmer highway will make you feel being close to a runway the entire night.

Property:
Rooms are preety small (not more than 120 sq ft.) and does not even match the expection of a 2 star hotel. None of the room have couch/sofa set, carpet, television, wardrobe, dressing table/mirror, study table and the furniture is also old, full of dust and ill maintained. Don't be surprised if you come across sheets on your bed which hasn't been changed from last few days or a non working refrigrator which is placed in the room just to accompany you. The hotel does not even have proper double bed quilts in a double bed room. You will be offered 2 different size and dirty quilts with a caveat that it's the best they can offer. Washrooms are pretty clean and maintained though with basic amemeties (only).

Food:
Its worth trying, the food is really good and you will thoroughly enjoy it. Try the "Jeeman" which serves unlimited Rajasthani food for INR 170. We have had all three meals inhouse and it was a nice experience. Unfortunately, they do not offer room service for any of the eatables, which is again disappointing.

Check In/Check out:

Reveals extremely poor management. None of the staff members has the sense of ownership and they feel free to pass you on to city office which is 17 kilometers away. On arrival they had no information about my booking and the advance payment. It took them 1 hour 15 minutes to find out details wherein myself and my wife had to stand outside on recepition. None of them had enough courtesy to make us feel comfortable with a glass of water. A strange policy which I have seen with them only among the hotels I have stayed world over is that you need to deposit advance payment more than twice of your room tariff which made no sense to me.

Check out was equally terrible, no one knew who will refund the amount back which was given as advance deposit. No bills being issued even after an argument of 30 minutes. I was promised that bills will be dispatched on my snailmail which I am waiting till writing of this review with no hope of they arriving.

On checkout, I pretty much understood the reason why I was the only occupant last night in their hotel. I am sure no one will ever became a repeat customer and they can have their staff members use the vacant property.

concluding, you can drop in this resort for a day out without booking it for overnight stay and enjoy the good food, but don't make a mistake of staying in here.
