We had a lovely triple room overlooking the lawn. The food was great and there was plenty for Western palates. After dinner we were treated to a puppet show and a demonstration of Rajastani dancing on the lawn. Very comfortable stay - if only for one night.

Pachewar Garh is approximately 90 km from the heart of Jaipur city,a serene and rustic getaway from the hustle and bustle of metropolis life. Nestled amongst greenery, this heritage site with a very warm and affable hostess is an exquisite vintage site having a wide array of room types to suit all budgets. The highlight of our stay was the ethnic...

I first visited here in 2013 and have not forgotten the charm of the fort n village. I came back briefly in 2014 just as I was passing through and was able to have lunch with the owner n meet kitchen staff again who so generously allowed me spend time in the kitchen and learn some Indian cooking. The chef...

Go there knowing that you will get a view of the past glory but do not expect present grandeur. The place is a small, authentic fort and quiet for the most part. And it is just 100 km from Jaipur. The people serving you are humble and the royal family, if you get a chance to meet them, are really...

Pachewar Garh Hotel is unfussy, quiet, and has character. Each room is different. Traditional family pictures are hung all around the hotel. The open courtyard is just lovely--our dinners were served by candlelight here. The food was good quality Rajasthani food. We also took a village tour one afternoon. During the tour we saw normal village life, met numerous friendly...

Pachewar Garh Hotel is as authentic as it gets. Its a small fort palace that belongs to the royal family of Pachewar - a small village, 23kms from main Jaipur-Ajmer highway and 105kms from Jaipur. The hotel takes you back in time. It is not modernized or renovated to resemble modern hotel palaces. The rooms are simple and clean. The...

After going through the narrow lanes of the village, I was absolutely flattered when I entered the gates of this Fort. The pool and the beautifully landscaped garden was a visual delight. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and I knew I was going to have a great time. My room was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and had a...
