I’d planned to go to the Jaipur Literature Festival with a journalist friend but in the end, she had to work, so I had a large room with two double beds to myself. Staff at reception questioned me about this in a way that I found mildly intrusive. The room was clean but cool and I ended up sleeping under the duvet my friend would have taken! The breakfast was excellent and I met other solo women over puri, idli, chickpea and other delicious dishes, before walking to the festival together. You need sturdy shoes that cope with dust. In the evening, the restaurant serves good food and alcohol, which is not always the case in Jaipur. I dined solo and was the only woman in the restaurant but felt welcome. There are interesting streets nearby for strolling and photography, which I enjoyed without any hassle. There are wonderful jewellery shops on MI road nearby. There is a rooftop terrace. The hotel is a rabbit warren of corridors and stairs. If you have a mobility impairment, check your room is accessible. The hotel is not as charming as others in Jaipur.

One of the nice centrally located hotels in Jaipur near the panch batti circle. It is very clean and rooms are big and spacious. The breakfast and other food was fine. The staff was good and while it doesnt have great views etc being in the city it is ideal for families. Would surely recommend for stay in Jaipur

One of the coolest hotels I found which is located in the city center. The hotel staff is amazing, very helpful. Clean rooms and amazing food. If you are in Jaipur make sure you stay in Hotel Ratnavali else you will spend time more on traveling than visiting places.

We spent 3 nights here and it was very good. Location is excellent near Panch Batti circle MI road and if you can walk around 1-2 kms, you can reach up to the main Johari and Bapu bazaar. We booked the executive room and it was worth. The room was clean and spacious and the walkways are decorated with “Maharaja and Maharani” photographs. Breakfast with a complete spread and their South Indian items were the best. We had dinner once at the restaurant and it was good. The staff was helpful and they do arrange for any cab service you need. Autos were also available right outside the hotel. In all a very pleasant stay.
