Dera Rawatsar is often celebrated for its enchanting blend of traditional aesthetics and contemporary conveniences, housed in a location that offers a peaceful retreat near Sindhi Camp metro and the vibrant Old City. The hotel's cordial staff enhance guest experiences, despite occasional hiccups in organization.

Detailed Reviews
I so enjoyed my stay at the Dera Rawatsar. The staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. It really became a home away from home.
The food is very nice and my room was very comfortable.
The staff are always on hand to help and make really good suggestions of where to go and what to do.

The staff are so welcoming here and the food was very good also.
Excellent location and nothing was too much trouble. One day they arranged a tuk tuk driver for us and it transpired he was a puppeteer so he gave us a little puppet show in the evening - a lovely experience.
The hotel is family run and it made such a huge difference to our stay as there was such a warm welcome unlike the larger hotels we stayed in on our tour.
We will be back!

PRO'S
1) Beautiful boutique hotel having a very homely feel
2) Beautiful & cozy rooms, each room has a different feel.
3) Friendly & helpful staff
4) Centrally located hotel
5) Good quality food
6) Airport pickup included in the tariff
CON'S
1) Bus terminal overlooking the hotel
2) The breakfast spread should be improved, the menu has items like poori bhaji & aloo paratha but it was not served during our stay.
3) The taxi service offered by the hotel does not have the best drivers. We had a driver named Md. Naseeb who was quite intrusive & was looking to take us shopping to places of his choosing.
Overall we had a very good stay & we would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel in Jaipur! It is on a side street, so it is a bit secluded and quiet. We were granted superb service from start to finish - we were greeted with coffee and chai, the rooms were spacious and very clean, and we had delicious meals with attentive wait staff.
The location is a short walk to Sindhi Camp metro station, so you can easily take the metro just a few stops to the major sightseeing spots in Old City. Or, the hotel will arrange a driver for the day to help you sightsee (2500 INR for the full day). Our driver we arranged through the hotel was great!

A small boutique hotel in the suburban Jaipur. It is located close to a congested bus stand area. It had lovely rooms, moderately spacious.
The sounds of constant drum being moved was very irritating.
The bathroom was small, had a tub, shower cubicle and only the stick of the magnifying glass was there. I got my room changed as earlier one had a pillar in the centre of the room and seemed dark/ dingy. Breakfast spread was decent with different items, dining area had old world charm with pictures of royalty . Service provided was also good, very helpful and sweet staff. We are unwell and they were caring and helpful. Fan in the rooms are noisy , shower flow sparse and hot water takes time to flow. Blankets felt unclean and synthetic. Somehow the hotel is very noisy and constant sounds of something or the other destroys the peace one looks for in a holiday.

A beautiful heritage hotel. Rooms were spacious, clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Food was excellent and served by well-trained, ever-smiling staff.
Our wonderful hostess, Mandvi Ranawat, welcomed us with warmth and graciousness, and was a unending source of information and guidance about Jaipur.
A very special thanks to Gajendra , Dheeraj, Sonia and Narendar Singh for their attentiveness and excellent service.
We definitely recommend Dera Rawatsar for those looking for value, service and warm hospitality

We spent 2 nights here as part of our India tour, would have happily stayed longer. The rooms are spacious and authentic. Evening meals in the walled garden were quite exceptional, lovely ambience and the home-cooked food was so flavoursome. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff are really friendly, the property is well maintained, and the food is delicious. It is a gated property on a quiet back street, which is an oasis of calm amongst the noisy chaos of Jaipur. It was lovely to be able to take a swim in their pool at the end of each day and enjoy a cold coffee. We paid more for this hotel than others we have booked, however it is a beautiful heritage property providing a good level of service which we appreciated. A good good place to stay for a little luxury, if you are a lone female/s or a family.

Dera Rawatsar was recommended by a very close friend of mine from Jodhpur for our family stay. On arrival, we were welcomed with courtesy and graciousness by Mr. Rajendra. To meet our request for adjacent rooms, one of our rooms was upgraded. Special Thanks for that consideration. Rooms were neat, clean and decorated to give ethnic experience. Well equipped. Food was delicious though it missed the touch of Rajasthani flavours but I can ignore that remark considering the fact that they cater to multi-cultural and multi-regional customers so not everyone may like the taste. Location wise the hotel is very near to the Railway station as well as the Jaipur market. The tourist places are also nearby. In case, if your auto-rickshaw driver is not aware of this hotel, use Google Map.
To summarise and share the best highlights of our stay:
1. Catered to our every request w.r.t. food as my parents were senior citizens as well as my boy was 5 years.
2. Very flexible, polite and courteous staff. Never heard NO during our stay and the YES was always accompanied with a big SMILE.
3. They always made you feel at home. The best way to express our experience is that at the end of each day’s trip, our son used to ask "Papa, are going to our home in Jaipur?".
Thank you, team Dera Rawatsar for making our stay a pleasure and one of an experience. Special thanks to Mr. Rajendra and Mr. Gajendra (called him as Gajendra Bhai with love) for their out of the way service and hospitality.

Dera Rawatsar is a beautiful heritage property tucked away in the bustling city of Jaipur. With less than 20 rooms, each furnished in traditional Indian style, this is a wonderful place to rest and recharge in between sight seeing adventures. All the staff were friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. A particular shoutout to Shuam Singh and Karan Singh who made my stay very special.

I never found a spa on this site in the time I was there. I was there over two weeks. Staff can’t seem to help either other than to offer you a leaflet for facilities off site.
Booking sites, and the tourism authorities, including this one, have been informed of misleading advertising.
I saw in total 6 rooms, one of them they described as their best room (301). It didn’t have any of the in room facilities you have asked about, and there would be no room for anything of that nature. They aren’t big enough, nor are they plumbed for items such as dishwashers etc.
I can see that they still advertise these facilities and state they are in each room one one booking site.
Clearly there’s a major discrepancy somewhere. Their management and owner are multi-lingual so they should have no difficulty in amending the information they have provided to these sites.
