We stayed there 4 nights. The hotel is good for short stays. Location does not help. There is only one coffee shop nearby. The house is old with old charming furniture. There is little air circulation in the rooms and the smell at antique bothers. The bathroom was clean but did not realized the sheets were changed. The food a la carte is good - home made. The breakfast us very limited. It only offers milk which is not good for those with issues with dairy products. Offers only one type of bread and a caked baked at the hotel. You would be able to order eggs.
The staff is very polite but needs training. If you request coffee or tea there could be 3 of them next to your table and at the end all forget to bring the beverage or think the other one would wrong it to the table.
There is no gym. The water of the pool is not climatized. But my major concern is that rooms have little air circulation. As a result one hast to reply on the AC which points directly to the bed or to use the fans which make certain level of noise. The smell at antique — difficult to say what type of bed they have— were not good for my allergies. The outside pollution was already enough. The comfort of the rooms compromised the quality of sleep. Now, from the point of view of decor the rooms are nice to the eye.

Lovely boutique hotel with spacious rooms and very attentive staff. They looked after us very well. Breakfast is delicious and we were served three different menus on the 3 mornings we had breakfast. Toiletries are refreshing/ nice and the bathrooms are spacious with v good water pressure. Fairly central location, a short auto ride to the City Palace and other spots. Overall very happy with our stay here and can recommend. WI FI was a bit patchy, very good most of the times but went off for a few secs a few times. Limited street parking available.

Slightly disappointed that the swimming pool is under renovation, we were hoping that would be working after a day under the hot sun. We were told it will be ready by summer so maybe worth checking if thats important for you. Dinner felt a bit overpriced for what was offered.

Throughly recommend this hotel if you stay in Jaipur. We had room 301, an upstairs room which was spacious with a large bathroom & very comfortable bed. Everything about the hotel was clean. The breakfast selection was good even though there were limited choices.
We can’t speak highly enough of the staff who were so helpful when we needed to change our bookings during this time of the Coronavirus. We will certainly stay here again when we return to Jaipur.
Thank you Dera Rawatstar. You were an oasis for us.

A heritage property like many others in the old city area of Jaipur which is well maintained. however it appeared that the property only catered to foreign guest due to Breakfast / Dinner timings. Moreover there was no exhaust in the Bathroom which is a must especially in such heritage property located in old city area where the drainage system being old emits lot of foul smell. The food quality was also just average. The staff as usual was very very good n courteous. They provided a box TV in the times of smart slim tv. Even the lighting was inadequate and there were no quilt covers on the quilt. Over all a average experience. May not prefer the property since the city provided numerous choices.

We stayed as a family of 8, in 3 different rooms. Ages ranged from 70’s to teens. We all enjoyed our rooms, amenities, the food and service were impeccable. Nice, quiet area to relax at the end of our busy days of touring. The breakfast buffet was well done. The service was always top notch.
Our beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were clean. Free bottled water was in the room. Room 209 was huge! Room 208 was a more private and adjacent to a nice little library room.

The only downside was the Wi-Fi access. You are required to get passcodes for each device, with a set limit of 1mb per code. That meant that we had to request multiple codes per day, per person, per devices. It got a little ridiculous as we would run out in the middle of the night and were stuck without internet access until the following morning. To be fair, they were always willing to give us more but it was an annoyance.
That said, it was minor in comparison to our overall experience.

It's a nice, quaint, cozy place. We stayed there for 3 nights, and had a good time. No outright complaints. If I was nitpicky I would say the water situation needs a quick adjustment because the water was scalding during day and cold during night, our basin taps didn't mix the water. Service is on the slower side.
With these two minute areas of improvement out of the way, I will come back to stay here for sure. The service and food impressed me the most. They aren't a big staff, thus the service being a bit slow, but they are attentive and gracious. Their hospitality is very homely, and so is the food.
The best way I can describe Dera Rawatsar is that, its like when a friend who tells you to stay at their spare house and tells you that the people there will take care of you. It's not very highly trained, super professional chain hotel type hospitality, it's your typical Indian hospitality, extremely sweet and polite. Their restaurant staff really took care of us and took care of all our special requests.
Highly recommend!

Superb facility, many many thanks to all hotel staff in particular Mr. Rajendrasing, they go extra miles to make guest life comfortable. Food is superb with enough variety of items for breakfast, we stayed here for three nights and breakfast was different all three days.

Rooms are always neat and clean, superb.

Location is perfact with all required eminities nearby, Rawat Mistan is just a walk away, same with ST depot and Railway station.

I will recommend this property to all family travellers.

Great stay.

There are hotels which provides the state of the art facilities and there are hotels which touches your heart. Dera is definitely gonna touch your heart.

The Haveli of Rawatsar family were re decorated and each room is different from the others. The homely atmosphere and probably the best staffs in Agra made our stay memorable.I might be repeating it, but to make the guests comfortable, the hotel staff leave no stones unturned.

Very much recommended.

Dera Rawatsar is a beautiful hotel with extremely comfortable and well appointed rooms. The staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome and at home - even helping us practise our (very basic) Hindi! The hotel also organised a driver at a reasonable rate for a day trip. The food served in the restaurant is good, with a range of dishes suitable for a variety of tastes on offer, and alcohol is available, including a delicious Indian Sauvignon Blanc. The staff also provided us with a picnic breakfast to have on our early morning train which was so thoughtful. We braved the swimming pool (in December) which was a little cold but very refreshing. Staying at Dera Rawatsar has been a highlight of our trip to India as it is a perfect place to relax after a day exploring beautiful but busy Jaipur. Thank you to all the staff for our wonderful stay.

If I could give the staff, manager, and owner 10 out 5 stars I would. TLDR: The team gave a heroic effort to ensure that I was taken care of even though I wasn't even a guest! I can only imagine how they treat their guests.

The longer version: I was in a dispute with a nearby hotel and showed up on their doorstep at 10.30pm, trailed by a staff member of the other hotel. (I didn't want to stay in the original hotel, had paid half (one night) online, but didn't have the cash to pay the second night. That hotel's team didn't take card and didn't believe I'd come back in the morning pay. They blocked my uber and chased me to Dera Rawatsar). The team at D.R. was judicious and thoughtful in listening to both sides and working with me to figure out a solution--even though my phone was dead and not charging, I had almost no cash, and my atm card (we came to discover) was not working. Basically I didn't have a hill to stand on. They figured out how to charge my phone, accompanied me to the atm (I didn't want to go alone as a single woman at 10.30pm), and fed me dinner! They were fully booked (Diwali) so in order to make room for me, they were cleaning up a room that was under construction for me to stay in. I had already booked another hotel before trying to leave the original hotel in dispute and didn't want to make the team prepare another room, so I didn't stay, but the room was beautiful with stunning bathroom tile, a second sitting room, and a balcony. The food was delicious. The staff were so kind. Even the guests were kind. Basically, stay here is the moral of the story. Their team will do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your stay, and the facilities and food are great. You can't go wrong.

I never found a spa on this site in the time I was there. I was there over two weeks. Staff can’t seem to help either other than to offer you a leaflet for facilities off site. Booking sites, and the tourism authorities, including this one, have been informed of misleading advertising.

I saw in total 6 rooms, one of them they described as their best room (301). It didn’t have any of the in room facilities you have asked about, and there would be no room for anything of that nature. They aren’t big enough, nor are they plumbed for items such as dishwashers etc. I can see that they still advertise these facilities and state they are in each room one one booking site. Clearly there’s a major discrepancy somewhere. Their management and owner are multi-lingual so they should have no difficulty in amending the information they have provided to these sites.
