We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and ate in the rooftop restaurant every night because we couldn’t find another to match the quality of food and the excellent service from the staff. We had read previously there was no alcoholic drinks served at this hotel but were pleased to find we actually could enjoy a drink. Please be advised that there may be days when no alcohol will be served in any bar or restaurant in the city because there are dry days throughout the year which must be observed. The food was absolutely delicious and honestly you won’t get a better price just be aware that drinks have added taxes and service charges which makes them very expensive!! If your wine lover I’d think first before ordering a bottle has it’s heavily taxed. With regards to the hotel itself for us it was comfortable but noisy. We were wakened every morning around 7.15 am due to surrounding noise from above our room and beyond (traffic). For the younger traveler on a budget it’s probably ideal but we are more senior so it wasn’t just as comfortable as we had hoped. We found the staff very accommodating and it’s a family run hotel so it has a lovely silver shop and gift shop and not too over priced either. I bought some lovely jewellery and cushion covers. For tuk tuk rides just be careful as we went to the Albert Hall Museum and the price back to hotel went from 250 r to 80!

It is a decent hotel to stay for a few days while you visit and tour the city. Staff were friendly and the western bath rooms were clean. When we were there the key would not lock or unlock the front door (Room #301) and each time we had to go down 3 flights of stairs and up to get the front desk to help us and the hotel made NO attempt to fix the lock.
Roof top restaurant was pretty good for dinner. They also had a live singer, singing local favorites. However breakfast menu was more westernized and expensive. Bill was ~Rs800+ for 2 people for basic breakfast sandwiches and coffee/juice.

Located in the Heart of the City, Hotel Pearl Palace is one of the best budget places but on steroids. Please don't take the steroids word wrongly here as it's only been used for the good of the place only. Booked this property for me and my gang King's Royal Riders on our way to Ladakh for our Bike Ride 2022.

About the property under the budget what we were lookinng for we were literally spoilt to be honest with the massive rooms and washrooms which in fact comes with a screen which to be honest one won't see in budget stay locations but only at 5 Star properties. This property is simply no less like a palace but on a decent budget. There are two restaurants that's located in this property one was under renovation and the second one is with the Bar that's within the property ( though the pricing a bit on the higher side ).

Overall a great property for anyone who is looking for a good property but don't want to shell much money. My only feedback for this property kindly have all the payments option available for the customers. Reason as to why I am saying that at our time there was no card payment services nor online payments were working, which when asked by the property manager was informed that it's currently down. But how can all the systems be down at the same time and what if the customers are not carrying cash with them it can be a real problematic situation for both the parties.

We stayed here for two nights.
It was nice experience with them.
Near from railway station.
Hotel/Room was neat and clean.
Staff also co-operate and very well.

Auto driver known this hotel as a 'angrjo wala hotel'

We enjoyed lots because room was very specious and specially bathroom was very interesting and clean. In low budget.

I missed rooftop peacock restaurant because after Covid still it was not open.

Recently stayed here for 2 nights having stayed so many times in the past. On the good side all the lovely art work is being lovingly restored and beautiful live music is still played on the upstairs terrace. On the bad side for a traveller the hotel has obviously had to go down a different path to survive the lack of tourists. It now has a night club booming away so if you are in rooms 301 302 or 303 you are nicely sandwiched between scraping chairs in the restaurant above and the booming nightclub below. On the second night at 11.30 we threw in the towel and asked for a different room and ended up moving to the sister hotel. No one seemed much concerned that a paying guest should have a chance of a decent nights sleep. In fact we were asked to stand it another 30 minutes or so when last orders would be taken and things would start to wind down. The restaurant menu is a bit bizarre, gone is the long menu with lots of choices and in its place a relatively small number of more sophisticated options which left us and others visiting bemused and having to ask for advice as to what to eat. The menu seems to be for the nightclub as it bears its name. In the room you have the menu for the peacock restaurant which is fine except you can’t order routinely from that menu in the peacock restaurant. For breakfast you can’t even have something as simple as a lime soda or a fruit juice as the “bar” doesn’t open till 12.

Foreign visitors are still relatively few in numbers and the hotel has done well to get a good local crowd in to keep it going. Sooner or later it will decide whether to continue to be a local hotel and focus on its nightclub etc or return to the wonderful travellers pit stop it used to be. There are so many fantastic places to stay in Jaipur I really can’t think why anyone would want to stay at the Pearl Palace as things are. If you are there and want a different choice of food if you walk down the hill a little bit there’s a modern cafe with some more standard options

Response from Satinder Pal Singh, General Manager at Hotel Pearl Palace
Responded 17 Feb 2023
Dear Respected Guest 🙏 We were disheartened to read your recent review of our hotel and we would like to extend our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment that you experienced during your stay. We take all feedback seriously and are constantly striving to improve our services to provide our guests with a memorable and enjoyable experience. We would like to clarify that while our bar does have music and an ambiance suitable for a relaxing evening, it is not a night club. We have taken note of your concerns regarding the noise levels and will be taking measures to ensure that our guests are not disturbed in the future. We are also sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the regional Indian cuisine at our rooftop restaurant. Our aim is to provide our international guests with an authentic and unique experience of India, and we understand that this may not be to everyone's taste. We do offer a range of other dining options and we would be more than happy to recommend something more suited to your preferences. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and we hope that you will give us another opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future. Warm regards, Mr Singh {{{:-))

The room is clean, and has all the required amenities to make ourselves comfortable. The service was impeccable and we didn't face any sort of problem with wifi, cable or room service. The entire property has brilliant stores where you can shop local handicraft items which we can purchase as souvenirs.

One of the highlights of this hotel is its rooftop restaurant. The food was scrumptious and we dined there both the days of stay and had splendid experience. Just thinking about the food is making me salivating. I recommend this place.

Thanks to the hospitable management.

Cheers.

I would have given this 5 stars as the hotel is good value for money, very clean, has friendly and helpful staff etc however as many previous guests have commented if you get put on the floor below the rooftop restaurant you have to endure a huge amount of noise disruption. The dragging of the chairs and tables is so loud and is like nails down a chalkboard. Luckily we had earplugs and noisecancelling earphones and were out most of the day but the dinner rush doesn’t stop till midnight. It’s a shame because everything else was great and the restaurant is outstanding. Also it seems there have been many previous complaints and nothing done about it.

Hotel is really good. Neat and clean, spacious room with small balcony.Good for family. We hav daughter 3yr old for whom they arranged warm milk in night/morning. Location very good. The guy at reception is really helpful. He helped us to get bike on rent for city visit. Always available for any help. When we visited the restaurant at top was closed due to pandemic/renovation. Only breakfast was available which was poori bhajji or aloo paratha with curd and tea/coffee. Auto parked just infront of hotel if u wish to book the guy at reception will call the auto driver too. Peaceful location with all major tourist attraction within 3-4kms eg Babu bazaar, MI road for eatries, hawa Mahal, city palace , Albert hall museum & zoo.

This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip in India. The rooms are clean, confortable and beautifuly decorated. The bathroom was amazing with great water pressure and enough hot water to have a decent shower (our best showers in India without a doubt). Rishabh and his colleagues were all extremely friendly and helpful. Rishabh booked us a taxi to take us to the station very very early in the morning too. There is a shop in the hotel selling really nice handcrafted items, with fixed prices, so it was nice not having to bargain and shop free of hassle. This place is amazing value for money. I highly recommend it if you are visiting Jaipur.

I had visited Jaipur with friends during the first week of February. It was a lovely stay and we had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff was really friendly and provided excellent service. The food was to die for, the hosts (the Singh family) were one of the kindest people and the entire experience was truly special for me and my friends. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.
