Zostel Jaipur is two-time best Indian hostel award winner. Centrally located within the walled city, at Hawa Mahal - this classy backpacker hostel is the pride of brand Zostel. Jaipur serves as a gateway into the most colourful state of India, Rajasthan. The capital city packs all aspects that the state is known for within itself. Jaipur has a deep connection with its historic past which is visible in its preservation of the walled Pink City, which is what Jaipur is essentially famous for. The City Palace is right in the middle of Jaipur, close to Hawa Mahal, towering over the main Bazar of Jaipur. Far from the bustling streets lie the forts of Nahargarh, Jaigarh, and Amer, overlooking the city with their protective gaze. Located in the heart of the city, Zostel Jaipur is close to all the major attractions of Jaipur. The colourful interiors of the hostel mirror the spirit of the city perfectly and that is why it has been awarded the best hostel in India a couple of times.

Stayed at Zostel Jaipur for 3 days during my trip to Rajasthan. Zostel being a chain of hostels always gives the best experience for travellers. The staff over here is very kind and caters to all the help you need in terms of planning your travel or food recommendations, the place is very hygenic and maintained very nicely and kept clean.

They follow all the covid related guidelines and alao do sanitize the common areas of the property.

Highly recommend to visit this place if you are travelling with your friends or going solo.

The one night at Zostel Jaipur turned out to be a memorable one. They organized a club Crawl and we had insane fun exploring nightlife of Jaipur with an exciting bunch of people. Special thanks to the property manager Sanchi and all volunteers for organizing this. Like most of the other propertie, the dorms were neat and clean. The common area and common kitchen are the highlights of this property. You can cook your own food in the kitchen and meet up with fellow travellers in common area which is a great way to meet new people. They also let you keep your luggage after checkout if you're train is late in evening which is a big convenience. Overall, the experience was great and I can't wait to visit again

I travel a lot and yet, the stay here was one of the most memorable! It's set in an amazing location where you can feel the vibe of the city at its best. The food, rooms and the common areas all are exceptionally well done. Ashish is a crazy host who will make you feel like a home away from home. Please ask him for tucked away locations and be prepared to be surprised and spend a day or two more than you intended to!

The location of this property is its biggest advantage. Tourist places like City Palace, Jantar Mantar & Hawa Mahal are stone throw away from this property.

We stayed in one of their private rooms. The room included an Air Conditioner, Wardrobe, Study Table, Double Bed, Chair , Bed Side Lamp, TV with D2H.

Hot water was available in the Wash Basin and Shower Area.

Somethings that were missed are
1. No glasses or cups in the room
2. No electric water heater
3. In our case lights of the bathroom did not work for our entire stay. We did inform the reception but no use. Even the next day nobody bothered to fix it. By this time I had already given up.
4. The jet spray was broken too.
5. On checking out no one was at the reception. I might as well have taken the keys with me to home :D

I am not disappointed since I think with Zostel being more of a hostel than Hotel, maybe the deficiency is expected or maybe I am wrong.

There is a pantry with glasses, cups and other kitchenware. But they are either dirty or not cleaned properly by the travellers. I personally saw a guy brushing his teeth in the Kitchen wash basin, there goes your hygiene.

It can do a lot better. I paid around Rs.2200 per night hence excuse me if I have expectations. That is a decent amount of money.

It is a good option for a group stay. For anyone who expects services like a hotel can lookout for other options.

Well cost wise it is really really good. About cleanliness I will rate 3/5. Staff members are friendly and helpful. I will not prefer breakfast here, its not worth. They mentioned somewhere there is tea/cofee machine but there is no any. They are arranging different programs in evening or early night thats the best part I can say. Overall experience is good. Sometimes it depends on your roommates and other travellers behaviour so dont write bad things for that reason. Luckily It was good for me. You will find beautiful paintings on wall. Comman rooms bedsheets or covers should be changed often as mostly we will spend time there. I believe a small improvement is required. Otherwise I am satisfied. All the best guys. I will recommend to solo travelers.

The jet in our room was not working, and despite spending 2 days in the hostel they couldn't get it fixed. The booking policy and the hostel staff never mention that you will need to be charged if you check out late (in our case at 12 instead of 10 am). They made us pay for 2 hours despite NO information either on the website or the hostel. If you're going to charge hotel rates for private rooms, improve hospitality

It was my first trip in this hostel. But it exceeded my expectations in all possible way and beyond .
Hygiene, ambience, staff and everything else in between will get 6 out of 5 .
The activities like hiking, Fort tour city walks, photowalk must to be attended to have best hosts vibes and interact with fellow travellers.
The food of Sheetal ki is amazing and budget friendly as well .
Kush, Tosif, Pandey ji and Aatish will make sure you have the best time with most safe environment for solo female travellers.

Chat with the dear cutie Kush and the ever welcoming Aatish for secret and special spots.

I would love to come back here again and again and will surely recommend it to everyone.

Rest assured, after your stay, you would be left with friends for lifetime ❤️

Stayed here for two nights in a private room. The room was very nice- very specious with private bathroom. This is a great location. It’s walking distance from several things- city palace, wind palace, restaurants, markets etc. The staff were really nice and helpful- they gave me great recommendations on where to go and even invited me to try some local sweets that were delicious. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Location is 5 points out of 5. At Chandi ki Taksal, it is at the centre of heritage walled city. Most of the tourist places like City Palace, Observatory, Hawa Mahal are at Stone thro distance. Zostel Jaipur also takes you for evening walk to Nahargarh Fort for sunset view. You have good Jaipuri food street vendors just out side Zostel so that you can enjoy real Jaipur food.

Private rooms will be having attached bath and toilet. Not sure about towels. The area around it will be little noisy as it is near to some tourist spots.

I paid a prepay taxi from the airport terminal and they charged me 320 IR. I am aware that Uber may be more competitive and less costly. A tuktuk (autorickshaw) will be cheaper for the 12 to 14 km ride. Watch out there are too many scammers about. If you chose the option to haggle then 20IR per Km is a good basis to work on especially mid day time when the traffic is the lightest ( relatively speaking)
