Its a beautiful building , the rooms we had were large and comfortable though one was missing the promised balcony it was too hot to sit out anyway breakfast was ok , nothing special but the evening meals were fantastic- some of the best food I have eaten in India, good value and huge portions. The hotel is in a residential area so quiet but easy to get a taxi or tuktuk , hotel will also arrange pick up from the airport which worked well. Tourism as a whole has been so badly hit so I understand if hotels are not spending any money on decor but when things get a bit better please invest in some nice towels, the ones supplied are clean but course and not comfortable , remove the awful plastic 'wood effect' parts of the bathroom , part of this in our shower was broken and peeling from the wall , looks bad and the grouting between the tiles need a good clean Avoid 309 as its under the kitchens and if its busy as it was one night when we were there you will have the clanging and thumping until late. I would say its good value and much nicer than the corporate hotels which totally lack character…
My wife is from the royal family of Solapur of Kadadi Estate and therefore I prefer to stay in heritage hotels when I'm traveling with my wife. I checked into Umaid Bhawan on 21st it was a natural decision to stay In royal style. Umaid bhawan was a natural choice. The staff was patient and polite. I enjoyed the stay although the buffet breakfast can be improved.
Fun heritage hotel experience with beautiful and interesting decorations. Safe area. Charming rooms. Lots of breakfast options, both Indian and Western. Staff was friendly and helpful. High recommend!
Nice haveli. It was a nice experience to stay in this haveli nice food and the decor was good. Service was also good cleanliness and hygiene were taken care of nice ambience. Hawa Mahal and all nearby only I love Jaipur I will recommend Umaid Bhawan
This is a WONDERFUL boutique hotel in a quiet neighborhood in Jaipur, about five minutes drive from the Hawa Mahal and Old City. I stayed here for seven days, and truly did not want to leave. The front desk staff was kind, helpful, and friendly -- excellent English. The remaining hotel staff was extremely courteous and friendly as well. Most important: air conditioning, wi-fi and hot water all were perfect the entire visit. The hotel, itself, is absolutely beautiful: incredible ornate elephant gate entrance; typical Rajasthani towers, and gorgeous Rajasthani style wall paintings and decor throughout the entire premises. There are many truly stunning common areas for reading, eating, relaxing, and the swimming pool is so nice to have - incredibly refreshing on a 105 degree day. While my room was not quite as lavish as the rest of the hotel, it didn't matter: it was still lovely, with desk, sitting area with bolsters and rajasthani arches/columns, excellent storage for a one-week stay, and nice size bathroom. For a four star hotel with a very reasonable price, this is absolutely one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in (and I'm a seasoned solo female traveller throughout China, SE Asia and India). Finally, the hotel provided numerous services, including a driver by the name of Bhawan Singh, who was fantastic: an incredibly safe driver, dependable, good English, GREAT photographer (no selfies needed :) ) and knowledgeable about the well-known and not-so-well-known sights. I highly recommend you request him if you stay here. Thank you Umaid Bhawan, for an unforgettable stay.…
Loved my stay at Umaid bhawan the staff is very courteous and polite also the service is very good and not to forget the property is damn pretty will surely visit again. Thanks to Mr Ajay for the wonderful hospitality
I went to Umaid Bhavan with my friends on 31st March. We were mesmerized by the beauty of Umaid Bhavan’s architecture and interior. It had cultural and royal feeling all together. The Royal suit they provided us with was lovely. Their cleanliness, staff, room service and even reception responses were remarkable.
Clean room and lovely staff....place looks lovely... absolute value for money.must visit....superb location to visit famous places. Thank you.... swimming pool is also great....rooms give you a very authentic feel that you might not get in other 5 star places
I stayed in this hotel with my family . It is amazing building of mugal Rajput architect style. Staff is so helpful you feel home away from home. Evening folk dance and music make your stay memorable .
All the rooms are different from each other, that's makes this hotel so unique. We got all our rooms by our choice, so helpful staff & really good service. We are going to recommend this hotel to all our friends visiting jaipur, near to the airport and really convenient. Very grateful to the manager too. Thanks a lot.
