The good aspects: Charming stucco facade, indoor courtyard/atriums, large rooms and large bathrooms, tile and marble in rooms, lots of character with old-world double doors and glass doorhandles, wonderful garden area in which to eat outside weather permitting, an oasis after some hours in the city or doing tourism. The not-so-good aspects: Although the room was for my wife and...

Stayed here for three nights with my young family and found the hotel to be charming. The general manager was first class and very helpful. We enjoyed our breakfasts here and had a simple lunch which was good. Our room was of a good size and the shower excellent. The bed was comfortable. It is a little ramshackle around the...

We stayed here for three nights during our trip to India, and it was by far the most friendly and welcoming place we stayed. Those who worked at Diggi Palace could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The location is perfect, central and easily accessible, and it has a grass lawn, peacocks walking around and beautiful gardens. We had...

A quiet oasis near the old city palace of Jaipur. This former palace has been turned into a beautiful hotel, only a 20 minute walk from the main center attractions. We experienced great service, a quiet, clean and beautiful room, a comfortable bed, and the best restaurant food we had in India. The staff were all very friendly and helpful,...

Great location, decent rooms, well-kept lawns, good food and excellent service. Good reasons why Diggi Palace is the venue of choice for not just tourists, but also the organisers of the Jaipur Literature Festival, each year. Visiting it in its normal avatar, sans the LitFest crowd has its rewards, of course. The owners are cordial, involved and make sure you...

stayed a few days and found the rooms dirty and tired, bathroom and bed room floors never cleaned with any cleaning products only dirty water, show overflowed with hair blocking the drain, might have nice grounds but this does not make up for our dark and dirty room. Sheets were grey not white and towels felt like they are 12...

Set fairly close to the centre of the city, this is a quiet little oasis that could be miles away from the hustle and bustle of town. Check in was very efficient and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. Everything worked fine. The gardens were nice and shielded the hotel from the outside world. There was traditional Rajasthani dancing...

Rooms are quirky. But very clean and good. Staff were very helpful and the laundry service was good too. Tutu and his family were lovely to deal with and I thank him for showing us his family farm where he is nurturing Veges for use at the hotel and to sell locally

The rooms here were very good, and being upgraded to a suite was a treat. The breakfasts were excellent and the waiting staff delightful. We couldn't use the pool because a fashion/ crafts fair was being set up and taking place, but that in itself was really a bonus. Threethings let the Diggi Palace down. The tea tray had several sachets...

If you're looking for a sleek hotel with 5 star food, Diggi Palace is not for you... If, however, you're looking for a place that oozes character & historic charm, this is the place. We enjoyed having to walk up the stairs to get to our room & appreciated the rustic nature of the whole place. The food was "good...
