The resplendent Diggi palace was built by Shri Thakur Saheb Pratap Singh Ji Diggi of the then ruling family of Diggi principality in 1860. Situated in the heart of the city on 18 acres of land amidst an array of fresco painted 'Deodis' (doorways), 'durbars' (banquet halls), 'Havelis' (palace wings) and lush green gardens; the Diggi palace is a tranquil haven offering luxury and hospitality that is pure and unpretentious. All rooms have a mystic charm about them sending one back in time. The rooms are well appointed with modern comforts and luxuries. Each room and suite at Diggi palace is unique in character and appearance. Nestled amidst 18 acres of a cluster of Havelis, edifices, and gardens in the heart of pink city, the hotel is located 12 km from the airport, and just 5 km from the railway station as well as from the bus stand.

Perfectly fine hotel. Appears to be another haveli which housed a number of people of the same family. No pool available but there is a restaurant in the hotel and another one next door. There is dancing at the restaurant next door...sometimes late into the night. Usually, you're so tired you won't hear the music. Service was great!

The hotel is nice and quite with big garden. Clean but bit run down. I had the premium room which is very roomy. The bathroom is also huge and clean. Breakfast was good. But almost the same all 4 days. This hotel is not suitable for travellers like me who wants to explore Jaipur by your own. Uber and taxi are not allowed to come in to the hotel gate. You have to walk to the main street which is about 100m away. Not good if you have luggage. The hotel receptionist was not willing to call normal taxi for me, only offer their own airport service which is too expensive 1600 vs 400. The tuk tuk drivers outside the gate were rather aggressive and totally overpriced. It is prohibited to have other guest visiting you after 22.00. My friend was asked to leave the property by a rude guard. Unbelievable. For a room over 150 eur/ night it was not worth it.

The hotel team were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The building is very historic and a haven within Jaipur with the garden a peaceful retreat. A good choice in different places to eat for dinner.

Very nice place with a heritage property feel. Diggi Fort is a great place to stay in Jaipur. Its located near the City Palace and Bapu Bazar Market. Rooms had vintage look, the restaurant had lip-smacking food, and the staff was polite and helpful. Further, the property hosts many peacock families that will accompany you in the lawn. You can sit there and enjoy tea/coffee among these beautiful creatures.

Amazing old palace building in a perfect location for exploring Jaipur. Lots of character and charm, beautiful tranquil gardens too. We saw parrots and monkeys while we had breakfast. It's calm and spacious and a great place to relax after a day exploring! Big grand rooms, lots of interesting features too. Friendly staff! A great experience for our stay for sure! Recommended!

This is a fabulous hotel.Staying here you can imagine the splendour of Colonial times.I stayed with a group of 8 people and everyone was impressed with their rooms. The food at breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. The staff are all helpful and friendly.I became ill during my stay with a chest infection, but the owner quickly got me seen by a local doctor and made sure I was o.k...that is service. The only downside was the pool is currently being refurbished so was unavailable. However, when it and other sections of the hotel are finally refurbished this will be an outstanding hotel of class and quality in Jaipur.

Staying at this beautiful property was not only a highlight of our time in Jaipur but also of our whole trip to India. The property and grounds are absolutely spectacular, steeped in history and so full of character, but more than that, the heart and soul exuded by the wonderful people who live and work there made us feel right at home. We had delicious food at the restuarant and enjoyed the lovely ambience of the outdoor area for all our meals. A highlight was enjoying the tranquility of the beautiful garden, watching peacocks, squirrels and birds after our days of touring. The staff were attentive, helpful and accommodating - Wilson made sure all our needs were met to perfection. We would absolutely recommend experiencing the magic that is Diggi Palace - we have not been to anywhere quite like it and we will definitely be back !

3 night stay. We had a last minute change to this hotel. Our tour representative suggested this as an alternative to the hotel we had originally been booked in with. What an amazing and quirky hotel! Set in beautiful gardens, the rooms were very grand (and colourful). Staff were impeccable. I rate this hotel equal first for our 2 week trip to India and we stayed in seven different hotels.

It was the worst experience of our lives!!! The room was dirty with dust everywhere. The phone , tv, bathroom all was broken. When we tried to rest there was constant construction sounds. At night around 11 pm the bathroom flush broke! We changed the room . The new room had broken toilet! The flush was broken. No morris in the bathroom. The whole room smelt of mound. We requested to see the manager and he did not even respond or come. This hotel needs a full refurbishment. The management has no responsibility. The hotel is in the most dilapidated condition.
