I am really excited to be staying at the 'Jaipur Literature Festival' venue !! As the manager of 25 yrs here tells me, the place has been graced by masters like Salman Rushdie, Orhan Pamuk, Kiran Desai, Vikram Seth, Mark Tully to Dalai Lama & Oprah Winfrey over the years.... feeling honoured specially when the manager informed that our suite...

Our favourite hotel in India so far. Lovely comfortable room , one of many set around the central lawn . Our relaxed open air breakfast spot kept us entertained with Pine squirrels ,Parakeets, and Peacocks. Choice of breakfast included hot dishes cooked while you watch and a variety of pastries and teas. The staff were all entirely helpful. The location...

We were invited to attend the fashion show , it was well managed and almost all of whose who of the designers were show casing their collection. It turned out to be Brilliant show and signature inputs of the Diggi family - Ram Pratap and Jyotika were so evident in making the show so good and inputs of this Royal...

We loved our stay at Diggi Palace ... a Heritage Hotel. After a long day riding motorcycles, it was a real oasis to arrive here. Our room was fabulous, decorated to reflect it's former glory - a spacious bedroom with super-large bed, sitting area, marble floors, plenty of wardrobe/cupboard areas, spacious bathroom with separate shower and instant hot water (makes...

Beautiful building in grounds with peacocks, squirrels and parrots. I know the hotel is a heritage hotel and was a former palace, however it had an overall feeling of being tired. The staff were less attentive than in other hotels (except for one we met), hair on the shower floor that was not ours, limited breakfast. It appeared clean otherwise,...

Spent two nights here and could have stayed longer. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Food was great. Loved the tables on the lawn where `one could enjoy a drink'. If you don't like stairs, mention this before you book though as there are many in this wonderful old building.

We weren't here long enough to really enjoy this hotel but it was lovely, although the rooms fairly small. Bathrooms good with hot water. Only had dinner here at it was a very early departure but that was excellent and served on the lawn, watching traditional dance.

The good aspects: Charming stucco facade, indoor courtyard/atriums, large rooms and large bathrooms, tile and marble in rooms, lots of character with old-world double doors and glass doorhandles, wonderful garden area in which to eat outside weather permitting, an oasis after some hours in the city or doing tourism. The not-so-good aspects: Although the room was for my wife and...

Stayed here for three nights with my young family and found the hotel to be charming. The general manager was first class and very helpful. We enjoyed our breakfasts here and had a simple lunch which was good. Our room was of a good size and the shower excellent. The bed was comfortable. It is a little ramshackle around the...

We stayed here for three nights during our trip to India, and it was by far the most friendly and welcoming place we stayed. Those who worked at Diggi Palace could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The location is perfect, central and easily accessible, and it has a grass lawn, peacocks walking around and beautiful gardens. We had...
