Jas Vilas is a not so easy to find gem in Jaipur. They are not listed in most of the travel sites, hence will have to directly contact the hotel for reservation. The property owners Mrs ans Mr Mahendra Singh (w/o the Dhoni) are friendly. Mr. Singh was very friendly in his conversations at the time of booking and also during the stay. The rooms are super plush and is gold standard and will match any luxury hotel. The hospitality of the staff is great and always at our beck and call. The decor is beautiful and tastefully done. This is close to all main tourist destinations, about 15mins/4kms. Highly recommend this place if one is visiting Jaipur.
Amazing hospitality, great location, classy heritage property . The hosts are very warm and have the best shopping tips ever. Their stories about the history of Rajasthan are enthralling. The generosity and kindness of the hosts is heart warming. Food is great too.
Beautiful heritage hotel, although apparently only built in the 50's! Gorgeous decor throughout. Lovely food at reasonable prices (it has to be said, that's fairly standard throughout India). But the staff - excellent. Could not have been more helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived to when we left - reluctantly! Lovely too to meet the owners, Lily and Davendrah(?). So many little things stand out though: laundry was done beautifully and very cheap, and when we asked to exchange money they brought in a chap who gave us the actual going rate, not the rip-off rates elsewhere! Much appreciated. If going to Jaipur, I heartily recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.
I’m in love with this hotel! The day we checked in I was stressed, we had just got off a 6 hour train ride straight into a tour, my back was killing me and I was tired. The minute we checked in I relaxed, the vibe here is so calming! You forget you are surrounded by hustle and bustle. The decor is stunning, I felt like an absolute princess. All the staff were fabulous, the most kind people I have ever met. Other hotels should take note. I love that they have a tip box for at the end of the stay that is distributed evenly, we don’t tip in Australia and it can become a bit daunting but this made it so easy! They deserve every single tip here. The owner came around at dinner and spoke with us all he was an absolutely lovely gentleman, as was the gentleman who checked us in and the gentleman who would serve us at the restaurant. Everyone was lovely but these 3 stood out. We had some laundry done and my husband left 500rs in his pants, the brought it straight back to us, what honesty! They got this straight back in the tip box for their honesty but they could have easily not given it back and we would not know. The food was delicious, breakfast simple yet the best we had the whole trip. I felt like I was staying with family, while we were here it was my 30th birthday and they even gave me a cake! This was so very thoughtful. I have stayed at hotels for birthdays, my wedding and anniversaries and never have I had something special like this done. Thankyou Only negative and I’m not marking down for this is that the hot water in the shower didn’t work all the time, usually I wouldn’t care but I had a sore back. I also love cats and found the sweetest car on the property, it had clearly been through some tough times but was still a little sweetheart, this made my day. Please please please stay here when in Jaipur, I would love to be here always and I will highly recommend others to do so. …
