Beautiful heritage hotel, although apparently only built in the 50's! Gorgeous decor throughout. Lovely food at reasonable prices (it has to be said, that's fairly standard throughout India).
But the staff - excellent. Could not have been more helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived to when we left - reluctantly! Lovely too to meet the owners, Lily and Davendrah(?).
So many little things stand out though: laundry was done beautifully and very cheap, and when we asked to exchange money they brought in a chap who gave us the actual going rate, not the rip-off rates elsewhere! Much appreciated.

If going to Jaipur, I heartily recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.

This wonderful small hotel has the feel of a beautiful old home , and the charming owners treat you like honored guest: this is an exceptional lodging, and one of our favorites during our three week stay in Northern India. It is well set back from a busy road, and its quiet gardens and serene courtyard around a pool create a sense of peace and tranquility. We stayed in the beautifully embellished, elegant heritage rooms, truly enjoying the famous Jaipur art.The food was fabulous, too.

Firstly, my apologies for how long it’s taken to post my report!
My wife and I had always wanted to visit India and as we were already visiting Dubai, the trip to Jaipur was a mere two and a half hours away.
We researched long and hard about where to stay and Jas Vilas kept coming up as spotlessly clean, well positioned, excellent staff and with great amenities. We were not disappointed.
Due to occupancy, Jas Vilas is very popular, we experienced two different types of rooms. We spent the first few nights in a Heritage Room and a couple of nights in a standard room. Whilst both rooms were quite lovely the Heritage Room was absolutely stunning. Traditionally decorated with four poster bed, incredible wall art, Indian mosaics and tiling and even a in room fountain with rose petals, which was turned on by our concierge to celebrate our arrival. The gentle tinkling of water aiding our sleep as we gently drifted off, with yet another memory of the pink city. The ensuite bathroom with his and hers vanity units, sunken bath plus shower and bidet, was lovingly decorated with stunning floor to ceiling painted tiles. The outside corridors and walkways give a glimpse to a bygone era of colonial architecture with stunning marble walkways and manicured gardens. The centrepiece outdoor swimming pool is beautiful maintained and cleaned daily - although in January with temperatures down to around 7 at night (25c during the day) we decided to leave the swimming costumes in our suitcase.
Breakfast and evening meals served in the estates’ quaint dining room are cheerfully served by the excellent maitrė d and cooked to order. Food was excellent and incredible value for money.
Around the house and gardens, staff are gracious, humble and incredibly helpful.
We’d without doubt recommend Jas Vilas for a short, medium or even a longer stay.
Finally it would be remiss to not single out the owners, the wonderful charming Lilly and Mr Sinch. They are without doubt part of the allure of this fabulous place and treat guests as a part of their family, taking a genuine interest in booked trips and excursions and sharing local advice and knowledge. Lillys’ tales of Indian times gone by are fascinating and our chats were a highlight of the visit. We will return but meantime, please keep our places warm!

I’m in love with this hotel!
The day we checked in I was stressed, we had just got off a 6 hour train ride straight into a tour, my back was killing me and I was tired. The minute we checked in I relaxed, the vibe here is so calming! You forget you are surrounded by hustle and bustle.
The decor is stunning, I felt like an absolute princess.
All the staff were fabulous, the most kind people I have ever met. Other hotels should take note.
I love that they have a tip box for at the end of the stay that is distributed evenly, we don’t tip in Australia and it can become a bit daunting but this made it so easy! They deserve every single tip here.
The owner came around at dinner and spoke with us all he was an absolutely lovely gentleman, as was the gentleman who checked us in and the gentleman who would serve us at the restaurant. Everyone was lovely but these 3 stood out.
We had some laundry done and my husband left 500rs in his pants, the brought it straight back to us, what honesty! They got this straight back in the tip box for their honesty but they could have easily not given it back and we would not know.
The food was delicious, breakfast simple yet the best we had the whole trip.
I felt like I was staying with family, while we were here it was my 30th birthday and they even gave me a cake! This was so very thoughtful. I have stayed at hotels for birthdays, my wedding and anniversaries and never have I had something special like this done. Thankyou
Only negative and I’m not marking down for this is that the hot water in the shower didn’t work all the time, usually I wouldn’t care but I had a sore back.
I also love cats and found the sweetest car on the property, it had clearly been through some tough times but was still a little sweetheart, this made my day.
Please please please stay here when in Jaipur, I would love to be here always and I will highly recommend others to do so.

We stayed for two nights in Jas Vilas and we felt so bad leaving, we had the most pleasant stay during our whole trip in India at Jas Vilas, the hotel was so wonderfully beautiful, the atmosphere so peacefull and the owners and staff incredibly helpful and friendly, they helped us book trips, train tickets and made lunchboxes for the trainride just because they wanted to. I’ve never loved a hotel/guesthouse more then I did at Jas Vilas, I would definitely recommend and would love to come back one time. Thank you for everything and making our stay so wonderfull! They even had a birthday surprise for my boyfriend!!

This place is lovely. We booked very last minute through a tour operator, and weren't sure what to expect. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the minute we arrived until the moment we left. We left super early, so we had breakfast packaged up for us, which was a really nice touch. The rooms were lovely, bed comfortable, shower and bathroom very nice. Beautifully decorate, gorgeous view over the pool, and a lovely patio terrace for dinner and drinks.

The food was nice enough and there were options of different drinks. The menu wasn't totally clear (a lot of repetition but not clear recipes e.g. spaghetti with vegetables, spaghetti with chicken etc.) but the local food was very good. There was a 45 minute wait for most dishes according to the menu so we went for local food that was ready quicker.

Overall a lovely place, would definitely go again.

Booked a heritage room in our tour of India and was amazed by the beautiful room, furnishings, and the wonderful attention to detail in every part of our experience e.g. hot coffee and tea came with a tea cosy so that it always stays warm, even when sitting outside on colder mornings. Service was warm, personable, and like being cared for in a family homestay. The dinner we had at the hotel (biryani and palak paneer) was delicious, probably one of the best meals we had in 10 days with generous portions. Highly recommended to all travellers to Jaipur!

Absolutely stunning place. It’s really beautiful with flowers everywhere - hanging from balconies, in pots and in the garden. The walls too are painted attractively. There’s a nice little courtyard next to the pool where you can sit and eat your meals or have a drink. We ate in one night and were impressed with the food. The breakfasts were also good, with a range of eggs, fruit, yogurt, muesli, toast and jams. The staff are all so friendly. Our room was on the ground floor - a large room with a very large bathroom. I don’t remember ever having a fountain in my bedroom before! We met both the owners who were very interesting to talk to. This is an exceptional place which I’d recommend to anyone.

Jas Vilas is a not so easy to find gem in Jaipur. They are not listed in most of the travel sites, hence will have to directly contact the hotel for reservation. The property owners Mrs ans Mr Mahendra Singh (w/o the Dhoni) are friendly. Mr. Singh was very friendly in his conversations at the time of booking and also during the stay. The rooms are super plush and is gold standard and will match any luxury hotel. The hospitality of the staff is great and always at our beck and call. The decor is beautiful and tastefully done. This is close to all main tourist destinations, about 15mins/4kms. Highly recommend this place if one is visiting Jaipur.

This place is so magical I don´t know where to begin with. The owners are amazing, Lilly and Mister Sinch, great hosts, always taking care of everything around, with real interest for the wellbeing of the guests. Every corner is a piece of art and colors, every furniture tells an old story. I have spent a month in India, and stayed in many palaces and little nice hotels, but nothing as unique, cozy, comfortable, beautiful and special as Jas Villas. It is a luxury place with luxury service with the comfort of a home. The food is mind blowing, everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients. It is such a pleasure to talk to the owners, to just spend some time in the terrace, to walk around and discover every paiting in the walls. The perfect hosts for the perfect place. A jewel with a lot of heart.
