For my first trip to India, I decided to sample a heritage hotel for the first few days and picked the Alsisar Haveli. It turned out to be a great choice. Very centrally located for access to the Pink City, it's almost like a world to itself when you see the streets around it. Set back from the road in...

my second visit to the property- very disappointing indeed. Standards have dropped. I was given a room with no TV working, no room heating operational. the staff had to install a portable heater in my room. I demanded a change of rooms and this was done the next day, but only to find this room worse than the first. the...

After driving down a street mostly filled with shops geared towards the trucking industry we were quite surprised to turn into the entrance and find a lovely and quiet heritage hotel. The grounds are quite nice and there are 2 terraces: one on the ground floor and another on the 3rd floor. We stayed on a room on the 3rd...

We stayed three nights at Alsisar Haveli. The hotel structure is very beautiful and the common areas are very well maintained. However, the rooms certainly need an upgrade. The light fittings looked like they were going to fall off. The bathrooms had tired looking and old fittings, although the furniture itself is solid and sturdy. But their in-house dining facility...

Our group of friends (3 couples) stayed at the Alsisar Haveli during first week of January for 2 nights. Overall, the rooms were pretty nice but since we got rooms on the ground floor which was the path for people who had rooms behind us, we had to bear with a lot of loud noises. The breakfast was ok, not...

For us this was like living with the royals. Beautiful, elegant. Staff was great and very helpful. Buffet breakfast offered English and Indian breakfast. Very clean. Bathroom was huge and beautiful. Beds comfy. No complaints at all and in fact I loved going back to Alsisar at the end of the day! I would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful palace that has been converted into hotel. You feel like you are a royalty when you stay there. The property has been well maintained and clean. The service is good. The food is outstanding. The menu changes every day and every day they made different Rajasthani dishes which were delicious.

hotel with character, represents Rajasthan haveli. lively and busy. service gets stretched. Food average. Folk music and dance continues till late and the audience attention sporadic - trivialises the performance...but then that is economic reality.

This palace-style hotel will knock your socks off! The original royal family has restored this property to what one might imagine was its former glory. It's a gorgeous heritage property rich with history. The beautiful courtyard and pool are adorned with stunning paintings, archways, and antiques. It is clean and offers excellent service. Each room is different and beautifully decorated...
