An absolutely avoidable place to visit. I was more keen to give it a 1 star but then I gave this extra star, just because they are maintaining this Haveli which definitely requires extra effort, money, and patience. To start with, though they are "trying" there is a lot of scope and effort required to maintain it more appropriately. From my personal experience - Room Locks were not working and they couldn't fix that as well for the duration we were there. The bathroom door locks were broken again. The "Musical/puppet" show group was missing. When we enquired they mentioned that due to certain personal reasons of the group members, they have gone back to their village and there will be no performance, for next few days. So evening times were absolutely bland and boring. The food they are serving in their restaurant is very bad. Be it breakfast, Lunch, or dinner, you can definitely, give it a miss. The prices are also exorbitantly high. But then the worst part is there are no quality restaurants available outside this Haveli. So you will end up starving if you don't eat from their place. So in a nutshell, this Haveli is located in a remote area with no proper civic amenities. You have to be completely dependent on the Hotel and the options they are providing for everything, which is not worth the money we are paying. We visited this place with the assumption that this is "presumably" a 5-star rated property, but I was utterly disappointed, with my assumption.

I booked Deluxe room but I was allotted Standard room. The front staff left the hotel at 10 in the night. As we checked in after 10 we were left at the mercy of the room service boys who were very rude. Hotel staff was very arrogant. They neither changed the room nor refunded the extra money that I had paid for Deluxe room.We had a very bad experience at the hotel

If you prefer lovely old properties rather than modern hotels this might be the place for you. Not five star but you get what you pay for. Close to centre of town. We had a problem first night with wedding guests running around shouting and banging doors until 2am - an isolated incident I hope but the staff appeared to do nothing about it. Noise does travel well in this vast property so a room to the rear might be better if noise affects you. Perfectly fine breakfast and helpful staff. Would have given five stars but for the noise issue.

Visited the property for two days with family. Big property. Stayed in Deluxe category rooms. No two rooms were alike. Had a sharing sitting courtyard between four rooms. Rooms were good. Food served was tasty though slightly pricey. Staff very helpful. However the property could do better with maintainence in electric sockets, door locks, and water plumbing lines. Tap water quality not good. Brownish and oily. Overall a pleasant stay. Thanks to the GM and his team.

We stayed in Mandawa Haveli for a week. We are both senior citizens. We had the most comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Right from bringing all our bags to the room to arranging taxis for us within minutes. The restaurant staff catered to our needs. We could not take the stairs to the second floor restaurant so they served us in the room on the ground floor. Food was excellent delicious and served pipping hot in our room. We were treated as royalty and languished in the attention paid to us. As Americans we are certainly not used to so much attention. We highly recommend Mandawa Havelli. It certainly is an experience of a life time.

Haveli was neat and clean, ambience was beautiful, staff and manager were very cooperative and helping. Food wise they should add more variety in their buffet breakfast. All over it's a nice place to stay. Must stay whenever you go for pink city Jaipur.

Been here today and there are couple of things that turned this beautiful property down. Rooms need maintenance, dirt can be seen over furniture, water you get here is yellow! And to add, here you cannot order ala carte after 10pm only buffet is available or else there’s high chances of waiting to get food! MOST IMPORTANTLY, mattress is hard to sleep on and furnishings are too old and smelly.

Without a doubt yeah, the worst hotel ever stayed. When I arrived and they didn't have room available except for a room that was leaking water profusely Down the Walls. To add insult to injury it was December and very cold. The room had no heat. It was 56*f and damp. The Hotel solution was to bring us 1 space rusted heater that barely worked and was definitely a fire hazard. The heater was meant to heat a room 10 x 10 at the most. The room we were in what's at least 20 by 18 with 14 foot ceilings. The heater was absolutely useless even though we sat it in a chair right next to the bed. Oh yeah,The bed was like sleeping on a sack of potatoes that sagged in the middle. The breakfast the next morning was absolutely hideous. I won't even go into it. I will tell you that there's no elevator to the dining room can you do must walk up 20 very steep steps. Keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. We ended our stay immediately and went to check into a different Hotel. These people charged for the rest of the nights we didn't even stay. Avoid this hell hole at all costs

The bar shows Bollywood movies and pop Indian music videos. So fun! The bar tenders David & Sande were very friendly & attentive. The Old Monk Indian sipping rum is delicious and very reasonably priced.
