The Hotel is nicely tucked away in a corner near Zorawar Singh Gate in the old city. The hotel's location is great and offers a nice quiet ambience despite being so close to the chaotic pink city. We were nicely greeted with a welcome drink and much needed warm face towels as we checked in the evening. We stayed at the basic room and that itself was MASSIVE equivalent to a suite in many hotels. Even the bathroom was the size of a standard single room in many hotels ! It was truly befitting a royal room with animal shaped bathroom fittings, royal paintings and artefacts attached to the walls and a massive desk cum chair with fresh fruits replensihed daily. We were so much in awe of the room that we didnt want to go outside and tour the city ! The brekfast spread was decent with a multiude of cheese, muffins and croissants alongisde Indian Breakfast dishes and was served in a wondeful chandelier lit restaurant. We had dinner on a couple of locations and really liked the continental & Rajasthani dishes served to us. This is truly a hidden gem in Jaipur and one of the best to experience the royal hospitality.…
You might have heard of stories of leaving money or stuff behind in hotels and getting it back. Have you ever heard of someone sending an entire house payment worth of money to a hotel's account accidentally and getting back without any fuss? That too at a time when hotels are shutting down / going out of business due to the pandemic? Thats what Raj Palace did. They didnt blink once when sending back some money i erroneously transferred to them and the amount was just obscenely large given it was my final payment on a new apartment. Once i brought it to their attention they immediately responded and reversed the transaction without any fuss... Now thats being honest, ethical and kind. I will always come back to the Raj Palace not only because i had a great time when i was there but because they deserve my patronage.…
We like Indian Palaces and there are several in Jaipur. We decided to stay at the Raj Palace and it was unbelievable. Such a fantastic and quiet place in the middle of the city. It is such a nice, beautifully restored and well kept building with a well trained and always helpful staff. Beautiful and comfortable rooms, delicious Indian food and indian red wines (Shiraz). Special thanks to the bar chef, who made us the best Mai Tai for a very long time.
Jaipur is a wonderful place .the palace, the street markets .the people .I can't wait to go back .it's one of my favourite places in the world .everyone should visit india. The hustle and bustle is magnificent
We had most amazing stay at the the raj palace.... everything was up to mark.... beautifull big gardens ...staff is so helpful and always greet you with positivity....the level of services was impeccable ,,,the room was spacious and well decorated ....!! Ambience is this hotel is something i would really look forward to come back again. We really enjoyed our stay....
After you enter the gate of the Raj Palace you leave the noisy city of Jaipur outside. The hotel is actually part of an old palace; there are many little passage way's and staircases to navigate to reach your guest room. The rooms are all unique and feel like they were part of an old palace. The bed was definitely on the firm side which didn't bother me but my wife does like a mattress topper. The staff did delivery exceptional service in the hotel and the dining room. I would not bother with a spa treatment, I did and they bring in an outside therapist which is always sub-optimal in my experience. If you're looking for luxury accommodation's this would not be you place but it is very nice.
We thoroughly enjoyed delightful hotel, travelled with my family for our long planned vacation .The staff were helpful in finding us rooms together despite hotel being completely full with other groups. Rooms were clean and large with good old restored furniture, and looked recently refurbished. Restaurant was very beautiful ,I loved the look of swapna mahal. Pleasant clean pool. The hotel is in the heart of Jaipur and all the tourist plces and markets are nearby. The garden was peaceful after a tiring full day's sightseeing. Worth each penny spent.
I have had the pleasure of being at the raj palace for dinner and show on two occations lately. Both times with groups as a tour director. I must say this has been a wonderful journey from start to finish with exellent service all the way. Thank you for a marvelous experience and happy customers from Norway.
I stayed at the Raj Palace in December and it was a fantastic experience, really nice property. Ranjeet in particular made sure that my stay was excellent, he was the most attentive and professional employee — he really went above and beyond, while being extremely happy and positive. He is truly special! Can’t wait to come back!
As soon as we arrived this hotel everything went extraordinary, the royal welcome and the hospitality . The ambience of the hotel and the facilities are among the best i have received as compare to other hotels i have visited around the world. The food was phenomenal and the staff was very attentive. Each one of them greets you with extreme humbleness. Rooms are very creatively designed , well spacious and beautiful. Wish to come in summers ,so that we can enjoy the pool also.
