We stayed at the Oberoi Rajvilas for 6 nights in July. The weather was good (except for hot afternoons) as the monsoon season had begun. From the moment we entered, the courteous staff, treat you like royalty. After the welcome drink, we were escorted to our room. There are buggies available too. After a short walk we stepped into what was going g to be our home for six days. We had a garden view room with our own sit out. The best part of the room is the reading nook near the window. I could sit there for days and just read or scroll through social media. The manicured lawns, the trees and the the sounds of birds and peacocks, felt as if I was transported to another world. Every evening, hundreds of parrots can be spotted in the trees around the hotel grounds. There are hundreds of peacocks roaming freely . This makes for breathtaking sights. They have a lovely pool and spa too. Apart from the lux breakfast, we ate atleast one meal at the hotel each day. We tried out their Indian dishes and pizza too. The food was well priced and tasty. The cleanliness was impeccable. One of the reasons I choose the Oberoi hotels is because of its attention to detail where cleanliness is concerned. This is hugely important for me. The staff are very caring and polite. The General Manager of the hotel made it a point to introduce himself to us when we arrived. Everyday he would check on us to ensure we were having a good time. They have a lovely temple in the hotel grounds. For entertainment, they have Rajasthani folk dance near the restaurant. They also have local artisans showcase their work near the hotel pool. The hotel does offer transport with a charge however we used Uber all the time. Fun fact- while we were there, this hotel won the award for the best hotel in the world from travel + Leisure. Why am I not surprised! I would love to visit again, this time in the winter months because I have heard that the place is even more blissful at that time. If you can, indulge and treat yourself and feel like a king/ queen at the Oberoi Rajvilas. If there is a place called Utopia, then this is it.

This is a must place to enjoy a leisurely vacation to be pampered. The hospitality, ambience, courtesy were unbeatable. Rooms are cleaned twice in a day with the fluffiest pillows and the most comfortable mattresses. Each room is provided with all the items to give maximum comforts. The quality of dry fruits has to be appreciated along with the top class toiletries. The overall maintenance of the landscape , pathways etc were very good with more than 100 peacocks in the premises. This was my first stay at this lovely property and I was very impressed. While being situated slightly on the outskirts of the city, the property itself is very beautiful. They have lush greens adorned with beautiful lily ponds and the overall design and architecture of the place is remarkable.
Our room was beautiful and a lot of thought had gone in while designing the place. The private pool was kept very clean and was very welcoming. The housekeeping team did a phenomenal job of keeping the room spotlessly clean and their attention to detail on small things accentuated our stay. I must mention Mr. Sandeep for housekeeping, who was very attentive and who prepared a beautiful bath for us in the evening.
The culinary experience at this hotel was also incredible. Suryamahal, their all day dining restaurant, is set up in a hall like a royal dining room. The service at the restaurant was impeccable and the food was delicious. We had also ordered IRD during our stay and the food was equally good. Further, it was raining heavily, but the in room dining team was still able to get us our dinner to our room on time.
The absolute highlight of this property however, is the hospitality and service of the staff. The famous Oberoi hospitality was on grand display at the Rajvilas. The members of the staff did not waste an instance to make us feel special. While each and every member at the property made our stay memorable, I would like highlight the names of a few staff members and thank them for providing us an unforgettable stay. Mr. Shivam and Ms. Shaaria from the Front Desk, Mr. Sandeep from housekeeping, and Mr. Akshay from the restaurant. I also had the pleasure of speaking with the gentleman running this fantastic property, Mr. Virmani, during our departure. The entire team is doing a truly phenomenal job.
This is one of the best hotels in Oberoi’s stable of magnificent properties and I would love to return for a special experience in the near future.

Sometimes, when you have to define something is difficult to find the word, in this case is not: Perfection is it! Rajvilas is the perfect hotel, not only in Jaipur but in the world. You would like to have such a hotel in every place you visit. The architecture is wonderful, located in a peaceful place with exceptional gardens, a lot of birds, peacocks everywhere, a pond with wonderful water lilies in the middle and with an Indian temple in its centre island, perfect place to made a pleasant walk at sunset hearing the birds coming home to rest: wonderful! The swimming pool is perfect and the service there makes your relax at the top. The rooms are very nice and comfortable very well keeped with all possible details, with wonderful views to gardens and very recently some of them has been equipped with private garden a swimming pool. The restaurant delivers you very high level cuisine both Indian and Continental with a renovated menu: go and try!!! The Spa is also a very good one and make your stay even more confortable and relaxing. I have left the best for last: the people, everyone is at the highest level of professionalism and kindness. Anuj and Guruharpreet Singh (housekeeping supervisor) made our stay perfect.
Our room was always perfectly presented with an invisible and kindly organisation being brought to our, somewhat chaotic approach to life.
Everything was tidied and yet easily found, laundry was unpacked and beds turned down and bathrooms serviced and cleaned so that we felt truly special.
This is a truly special hotel where you can safely and confidentially relax and enjoy the property knowing that everything is safe and secure with the comfort of a well turned down bed.awaiting your return.
Better even than your own home unless of course you happen to be the King of England in which case this would feel Home from home.
All the other staff in the hotel were also fabulous from Rushi who served afternoon tea, Harsh (a trainee) who drove us to our room seeing I was having trouble walking.
This is a special place.
We were made to feel as though we were King and Queen.

We had an outstanding stay at the Oberoi Rajvilas for two days over Christmas Eve.
From the moment we set foot on the property,we got a glimpse of Oberoi’s reputation as one of the leading hoteliers in the world and probably the best in India.
We were welcomed with the traditional aarti and ushered in with a welcoming drink and hot towels. Mr Virmani,the general manager of the hotel welcomed us personally. This seems to be an Oberoi tradition and makes them truly stand apart from other brands extending their stellar reputation as a hotelier.
Since we were there over Christmas Eve, we took part in the pre Christmas celebration dinner which was truly exceptional in the variety of food and drinks that were on display.Though there was a surcharge for this,it offered exceptional value in letting one taste food from India in general and Rajasthan in particular,middle eastern and other dishes from all over the world.
There were exceptional performances from dancers and folk singers and musicians from Rajathan and that added a special touch and reminded us than even though we are all of varying religion and faiths, food and music can truly bring people together and make us global citizens. I commend Mr Virmani for including tradional Indian and Rajqsthani touches to the Christmas Eve celebrations.
Our stay was short but truly exceptional in every way and made me and my daughter feel special and well cared for.I commend Mr Virmani and his team on creating such a great experience for us and other guests.
Oberoi has definitely set the bar for what a truly great hotel chain should be and strive for.

As we were already in Jaipur (May’24), we decided to stay at this property before driving back home for a night and booked two rooms through AMEX FHR rates which allow us an upgrade, late checkout, Noon checking (for which we were already late) and $ 100 credit for each room. As the next category (which was a pool villa) was unavailable for complimentary upgrade, we were offered by their front desk staff (Mr. Gaurav) a paid upgrade to their Kohinoor suite – one of the largest suites having two bedrooms. We took the offer and were so happy that we did. This is one of the biggest suite (# 120) with a huge swimming pool. The area of the suite with its gardens and outdoors would be around an acre. It comes with two bedrooms at either end of the plot, a very spacious drawing cum dining with a huge kitchen in the middle of the property. The rooms were very spacious, having all amenities of a stand alone hotel suite. The bathrooms were extremely spacious with a sunken tub. There were peacocks roaming all over the property and many in this villa. The hotel is amazing with it main building shaped like a fort (with it moat). The property is huge with villas spread all over. It has an ancient temple by a large pond in the middle of the property and we were privileged to offer our prayers the next morning through the Purohitji who takes care of the temple. The lawns are extremely pretty, manicured and beautiful. They have an extremely amazing spa next to their huge swimming pool (which we did not need to use as our villa’s pool was also amazing). The Spa also houses the Gym. We opted the for a couple’s massage and it was a very relaxing experience which should be a must. They use top notch ayurvedic medicated scented oils. The food in their coffee shop is excellent. We had all the three meals – lunch and dinner being ala carte and breakfast being a buffet. During dinner they had performances by the local artisans that brought a great touch. The overall ambience with torches lit up all over the property made this place mesmerising during the night. The breakfast was excellent with most of the food being brought to the table. Small extras like blanched almonds etc. were very thoughtful. One night is not enough to do justice to this property and we will definitely be back very soon to enjoy this place. No doubt that this hotel is considered as one of the top in the world. The staff – be it front desk, housekeeping, buggy, bell are all superb!

We had an absolut amazing stay at the Oberoi. From the pick up at the airport to the very warm welcome at the hotel, the arrangement of activities and the food, we could have not wished for more. It was really noticeable that the staff fully focused on the guests, nothing seemed too much. We made full use of the 2.5 days we were at the hotel. Hi-Tea, Cocktails, Dinner, free Yoga lesson (at 7am), leopard safari and despite the rain we had a fabulous time exploring Jaipur. It’s little touches like tidying up our charging cables with cable ties and always being ready with an umbrella that make the difference. A beautiful property with amazing gardens, peacocks, water lilies etc makes this a slice of paradise.

I had the most amazing time at Rajmahal, Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur! This was my second visit, and it was just as impressive as the first. The stunning Rajasthani setting, the peaceful ambiance and traditional decor... an instant "coup-de coeur."
The evening at the Rajmahal restaurant was filled with memorable experiences that made it stand out. The pleasant handwashing ceremony and soft traditional music added a cultural touch to the tranquil atmosphere. And the food, as always, was superb—each dish was a perfect balance of rich, authentic flavors and beautiful presentation.

Please go to Oberois only. There is no comparison. Ram bagh taj looks a little outdated and has an old type feel. The staff at Oberois is excellent and you will fall in love with the property along with the peacocks.
I was a resident guest, so could order anything, anytime. But they do have a Dining Room, and areas to sit around, where Tea could be ordered, I would add, that they can really produce excellent stuff from the Kitchen..
There are more places to choose from in the Jaipur area.
