Hotel's Favourite
From the very moment we stepped into the Rambagh Palace we were given the most impeccable service. My husbands suitcase was left in Mumbai. On arrival we were asked about our luggage and my husband explained his was still in Mumbai. Immediately (and I do mean immediately) the concierge Mukesh Gothwal had handed his number to my husband and told him he would take care of everything. Later that day Mumbai Airport said the bag would not be arriving that day. My husband had nothing but the clothes he wore. Mukesh somehow managed to contact Mumbai, make sure that suitcase arrived that day after all and not only that but when my husband arrived at the airport to collect it Mukesh was there at the arrival door with the suitcase in hand. This was just such amazing service. Really above and beyond. The entire staff we came across,(Anjali and Himanshi really stood out), were just superb. We came here for high tea in 2019 and promised ourselves that one day we would stay as guests. The architecture, the food in both restaurants, arrival welcome, evening rituals, dancing, vintage cars. I could write so much more. Evening turndown service with free gifts waiting (earrings, bracelets, pocket diary, photo of us on arrival)via This was probably our tenth trip to India since 2017. We have stayed in wonderful hotels during our travels (not just India but all over the world) and we can both honestly say that The Rambagh Palace has been the very best hotel we have stayed in. Thank you to every one who made this trip really so very memorable and one which will be greatly cherished.

We (my wife, 12 year old daughter and me) decided to stop for 1 night in this palace hotel on our drive back from Ahmedabad to Gurgaon. As we entered the hotel, we were mesmerized to see the well manicured hotel lawns and the beautiful palace property. After self parking (which the staff suggested as a COVID 19 measure), thermal scanning and sanitizing our hands, we entered the wonderful smelling lobby where we were greeted very warmly by the front office staff. Ms. Misba (duty manager) checked us in and also acknowledged my Gold status with Taj! The measures taken by the hotel for safety during this pandemic times were very reassuring.
We stayed in one of their suites which was beautiful, spacious and opulent overlooking the beautiful manicured central courtyard gardens. It boasted of all the amenities one could think of and very thoughtfully the hotel also provided a hand sanitizer, mask and sanitizing wipes in the room, which we felt was an exceptional gesture. Would also like to mention that although Taj hotels provide toiletries from ‘Forest Essential’, those provided in this hotel were unique and unlike any other Taj property we have stayed in.
The food was exceptional and we got to meet the charming Mr. Rishabh Bundela their Asst. Director of F&B at their ‘Rajput room’. The restaurant also has an outdoor sitting which we opted for in the evening and the ambience was something that one can only experience. There was live music and the palace with the grounds was tastefully lit up. The whole atmosphere was very relaxing and had positive vibes. The service and food was exceptional. We would like to thank Mr. Rishabh and Mr. Bijendra Singh for this wonderful experience. We also got to meet Ms. Priya and Ms. Khayti who were extremely warm and welcoming.
Each and every staff member we interacted with went out of their way to make us feel like royalty. It is in their DNA. We want to specially thank Ms. Drishi Bajpai – housekeeping supervisor who personally took care of us and Mr. Shambhu who took us around the palace grounds to their beautiful nursery. The palace has nearly 100+ resident peacocks / peahens and they are fed around 5PM everyday which is quite an attraction for the guests.
While checking out we were assisted by Mr. Raman. What touched us was the way we were seen off by Mr. Raman, Ms. Drishti and Bell staff as if we are family and we kept talking about it during our drive back. A short while into our drive we also realized that our car had been washed and cleaned - a gesture that we haven't experienced anywhere else and we want to thank this large hearted staff for the same!
After being overwhelmed by the exceptional hospitality of the wonderful staff, we will definitely be back very soon to stay in this fabulous hotel and we recommend it highly to our fellow travelers.

Spent one night here for my birthday. Service is unbelievable. The butler had “happy birthday” arranged in flower petals in my room along with some local sweets. Staff prepared the room for the evening while we were out by setting aside slippers next to bed, closing blinds, and they prepared a bath with rose petals. Lots of activities are available here, so I would recommend devoting at least 1/2 day to just experiencing the Palace. We played croquet, table tennis, had high tea, watched the evening dance, had a tour in the horse carriage, had a history tour with V.D.J., and had a late dinner at the old locomotive restaurant Steam. All amazing experiences in their own right

In the unprecedented time The Taj Rambarg Palace is the place to visit. Staff as always are very friendly and warm yet maintaining social distancing.
They sanitize your luggage on arrival also have a sanitizing machine for footwear.
Staff are wearing masks and face shield and have guest safety as their top priority.
Special thanks to Mr Ajay Sharma for a generous upgrade to a beautiful suite.
Worth mentioning are Kailash and Lakhan, two horticulturist for maintaining the lush green gardens at the palace.
Our server Amar served at the restaurant with a lot of love and warmth.
As we were celebrating my and my spouses birthday the hotel made all efforts in making it special by decorating the rooms with balloons, flowers and providing a cake.
Many thanks to all for a memorable stay one that we will cherish for life.

Wow, what a place. I was mesmerised with this place long time back and had thought of going there at least once. I just happened to be in Jaipur in middle of this Corona situation for some family event. Also, thought to utilise this time for some personal time off from all the scare of outside world. So I happened to check if Rambagh had a good deal. They offered me a great package which I couldn’t have thought off in the normal circumstances. Immediately took it for 2 days. I had an awesome experience and felt so safe owing to precautions being taken there in terms of distancing, contactless and availability of huge space with little guests at this point. They had huge landscaped gardens with peacocks dancing everywhere (due to monsoon). We thoroughly enjoyed roaming around the property and going outside. We saw one gentleman misting the area with disinfectants and on checking we were informed that he was disinfecting all the areas, a schedule which he follows in all public areas twice a day and all rooms before the guest arrives. We met a few nice guys whose names we could remember –Vikas, Prachi at front office, Kunal & Dharmendra-Housekeeping, Anand –restaurant. Housekeeping staff were doing everything possible to keep the hotels to highest level of disinfection. Restaurant staff with their masks, gloves, shields on did make our dining experience feel safe. We wanted to check out their special dining experience but due to paucity of time. All in all time well utilised by us.

What can we say about this amazing palace!
We are fortunate to come back to this beautiful palace to stay. This is our second visit and especially during this time when one feels hesitant to travel and stay, this one property invokes so much trust and confidence that you wont get anywhere else. The hygiene and sanitization is highly commendable and the staff and entire management is doing a great job with it.
We get to stay in our favorite Peacock suite, its a perfect suite for us as it has a balcony and we get to see the beautiful Mughal gardens overlooking the suite. Its very spacious and very tastefully decorated with a living area and a powder room too.
The food is delicious and our butler Mr. Rajwardhan was very polite and caring while serving the same to us.
I would like to say a big thank you to Ms. Misba, the Duty Manager whom i met during my last visit to this palace and has been very helpful who accommodated my last minute booking and gave us our special suite. She is very efficient, caring and is always eager to help. She made our stay so memorable. She is certainly a great asset to the organization. We would definitely be back to experience the same hospitality.
Keep up the good work guys !!

Where do we begin? This place is really in a class of its own.
It is a beautiful, huge hotel and grounds - wonderful for wandering and people-watching.
Our room was very nice, even though I believe that it was in the hotel's most "basic" category. Room attendants were borderline annoying in the frequency with which they would check to see whether they could do anything for us.
Breakfast buffet was excellent with a very large assortment of foods. Of course, the staff was very friendly and attentive.
We enjoyed evening breaks in the lobby Polo Bar, with its drinks and snacks.
Dinner at the train-oriented Steam restaurant provided a unique, enjoyable evening (not to mention, good pizza).
Each evening there is a dance performance on the lawn that we enjoyed twice.
The location does not seem to provide much shopping or dining within walking distance, but you can do plenty of wonderful walking/jogging just on the hotel grounds.
This is truly a memorable hotel.

I decided to celebrate my 1st wedding anniversary at the Steam, Taj Rambagh Palace, Jaipur. I was quite unsure if the the place will be vibrant with lively ambience (mainly due to covid-19), but the ambience was amazing with live music. Firstly, the place was well sanitised and ensuring social distancing. Each table was being sanitised for a couple of minutes and the courteous staff made sure that even the menu card was sanitised.
Secondly, as it was my anniversary, I wanted to make my wife feel special about the night, and I requested Mr. Yogendra for the same. Mr. Yogendra and Mr. Hoshiyar organised a special candle light dessert with non-alcoholic shots (as my wife doesn’t drink). Many thanks to the staff (Mr. Yogendra and Mr. Hoshiyar) for making this special.
Thirdly, Mr. Yogendra even asked the live band to sing a song for my wife, which the artist did (sung couple of songs).
Many thanks to The Steam and Ram bagh palace for making this celebration special.

I feel short of words in describing our overall experience at the Rambagh palace!!
I was confused between Rambagh, Fairmont and Oberoi as a surprise for my wife on her birthday, and I am glad I went ahead with Rambagh Palace since it made her experience so much special.
Starting with the grand welcome at the palace, we were offered a free upgrade on our room on account of the special occasion of my wife's birthday. The moment we stepped into the historical suite (Gulmohar Suite), we were in awe looking at the architecture and room layout. Everything felt pristine including the chandelier, room dome shaped ceiling, doors, windows etc.
The restaurants were a delight, covering all sorts of cuisines with outdoors as well as indoor seating offering breathtaking views from every place. The most mesmerizing experience was the Swarna Mahal (the Indian Fine Dining), with its Versace cutlery, 150 years old chandeliers, carpets, curtains etc.
The palace is spread across gigantic area and has beautiful garden and fountain parks. in which birds like Peacocks, Parrots, Mynahs etc. are a delight to watch. It has its own herb garden where vegetables are being grown for palace consumption, looking at those was truly an amazing experience.
The best part about our stay was definitely the surprises which our butler Ritik had planned for us all along. He, along with his manager Nimish, ensured that all the surprises were executed flawlessly starting with the free room upgrade, the cake arriving at midnight followed by surprise over the breakfast, the lovely cake trolley in the evening at the Prince Suite followed by luxurious dinner at the Swarna Mahal. I cant thank them enough for ensuring that my wife really felt special on her birthday by giving her a royal treatment and an experience she would cherish in her lifetime.
Special thanks to Karan and Rishabh as well who ensured we had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

We stayed at the Rambagh palace over the weekend. Our random impromptu plan turned out to be quite a luxurious getaway! Some of our takeaways from the stay were as follows:
* Hospitality- Don’t expect anything less than feeling like royalty from the minute you check in to the time when the entire team drops you off with a thoughtful goodbye note! I would like to mention Mr. narendra and Mr. vikas , who took care of each and every request of ours. The room allotted at check-in was slightly sensitive to outdoor noise for our liking, on informing the front desk, we were immediately moved to a quieter room of our choice! That just goes on to show the positive and problem solving attitude of the staff. Moreover, every staff member is a pro at clicking pictures and happily so! :)
* Restaurants: I and my husband are big time foodies and this is what makes or breaks a trip for us! Thankfully all the 4 restaurants at the palace surpassed our expectations. I would like to especially mention Swarna Mahal here. It’s the Indian speciality restaurant which is a must try. Along with the most lip smacking food, you get soaked in a good dose of history! It’s like eating in a museum in all its glory, complete with gold plated cutlery. Truly a mesmerising experience. Even the breakfast was quite pleasant with the chef going out of his way to visit each table personally and happily offering to customise any dish of your choice.
* Spa: Even before I start talking about the quality of the treatment, I would like to mention the spa manager Ms. Gemina and our therapist Ms. Maya. The team was so warm and hospitable, they went way beyond just the spa treatment. The two ladies enthusiastically offered to take us around the property and arranged for all sorts of activities for us including the vintage car ride and peacock feeding! now coming to the spa experience, the treatment rooms are spacious and airy. Also, the Therapists are very well trained. Overall, a good way to spend your afternoon!
* Accommodation: the rooms have an old world charm with high ceilings and a palatial feel. Most rooms have an attached outdoor space which adds to the winter charm. There is some scope for improvement in the washrooms which look a little tired. Apparently they’ve retained the structure of the actual palace rooms with updated interiors.
In a nutshell, Rambagh gives you a taste of how the royals lived. Every member of the staff goes out of their way and tries to fulfil each request with a smile. Definitely a must visit for a pleasant weekend getaway!
