Strutting around the grounds like they own the place, the peacocks add a colourful if sometime raucous note to this wonderful hotel. Rambling gardens, a wonderful spa and pool complex and internal courtyard complement wonderful restaurants and exceptional service. The Maharaja of Jaipur certainly left a beautiful legacy.

We visited with family. It is a dream place to stay. The staff are extraordinary. Great food, dances, music, shopping. We experienced Palace living. The Palace is located in a great location in the city. Everyone gets Royal welcome with Royal Umbrella, flower petal shower, harathi, music, Bottu (traditional dot on the forehead) and a fresh local juice. We also... More

This was our first real hotel stay in India, (the first night having been spent at a Delhi airport hotel for the convenience of a late night arrival and early morning departure). And what a terrific way to start our visit to this extraordinary country. We were given a suite, of monumental proportions, (ceiling heights) with staggeringly large chandeliers. Our... More

We dined in the Rajput Room at the heart of the Rambagh Palace, until relatively recently the residence of the last reigning Maharaja of Jaipur and his wife. It is a beautiful place with superb views across pools and gardens before we went into dinner. The food and service were exemplary - in a sort of Indian modern Indian chic... More

This exquisitely beautiful hotel sits on beautifully manicured grounds in which peacocks roam free. The rooms are spacious and utterly magnificent. We were first given a room that was split level, with a marble balustrade as railing. The bathroom and dressing areas were on the entry level, and the sleeping area below, giving the room a double ceiling height. But... More

Arranged a dinner in the dining room with 10 people. Atmosphere is gorgeous. Service good to above average. However, we wanted to use the wifi and the hotel staff, up through management, would not provide a free wifi password for the guests. It just seemed like a petty and stubborn attitude when 10 people are eating i probably the most... More

Luxurious... gigantic flavours of legacy Great rooms, great living, great hospitality, great choices of amenities, select menu, classy service... everything just picture perfect. Just that authentic Rajasthani food could improve... but classic food too good.
