The Lalit Jaipur garners appreciation for its culturally rich atmosphere and luxurious amenities, with the prime location earning high marks from many travelers for its proximity to the airport and tourist attractions. However, guests have called out issues with room keys, outdated decor, and inconsistent service, ranging from slow housekeeping to difficulties with room access.
While some find the rooms to be spacious and comfortable, others feel that the hotel does not provide sufficient value for the cost, with experiences and services not meeting expectations.

Detailed Reviews
The bakery products and bakery chef mr tarif hussain are simply amazing.got a chocolate cake made for my mom in law on her birthday.it was the best chocolate cake I ever had.
Highly recommend mr Tarif Husain's chocolate cakes ,mixed fruit cakes and pastries.a complete combination of hygiene especially in these pandemic times, taste, presentation and value for money.
My two years old daughter couldn't resist it and didn't wait for cake cutting.she literally licked it with her fingers.couldnt have a better sight than this.
Thankyou mr tarif for making our celebration a real one in these covid times.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The Chef and their Kitchen Staff are excellent and catered to our demand for Jain food but the restaurant staff needs to learn few things in hospitality. The other weird thing was that they refused valet parking and asked for INR200.00 per time for porch parking. The basement park was free but have to use the staff elevator till ground level and then change elevators for my floor. The housekeeping staff did not give hand towels even on asking twice.

I’m a captain at Spicejet Ltd. And was a guest at your hotel sometime in march just before the lockdown. I had misplaced my Apple Pencil (a part of my iPad tool) in the room unknowingly while proceeding to my next destination. Fortunately your employee, Ms. Julie Mary Mawlong from housekeeping found it but i was unable to receive it due to the nationwide lockdown.
I thank Ms. Mawlong with the bottom of my heart for safekeeping my pencil all this time and not only that, she had sealed it in her own handmade parcel box, hand stitched the parcel And tried to courier it to my home in Delhi. Today I’ve received the pencil and I hope that the lalit management takes important note of this and give her the credit she deserves as it is extremely pleasing to know that with amazing human being like Ms. Mawlong working for Lalit, anybody’s stay would be amazing.

+1
Stayed at The Lalit, Jaipur on Christmas eve for 3 nights.
Pros:
1. Large well appointed room with a good view.
2. Large comfortable bed.
3. Excellent food and ambience at the Baluchi restaurant along with courteous staff.
4. Good location near airport.
5. Large glass areas in both the restaurants and lobby which gives it an airy feel.
6. Temperature controlled swimming pool which we didn't knew and didn't bring swimming costumes.
Cons:
Two specific incidents marred an otherwise great stay at this hotel.
1. We returned to the hotel late evening from local market sightseeing and shopping by an autorikshaw. The security didn't allow the auto to enter the hotel, stating hotel policy of only allowing guests arriving by car. We were tired and had lots of shopping bags with us. It was shocking as I've arrived at many 5 star hotels in an auto and nowhere was I discriminated based on the mode of my travel. In the present Covid times, an auto is the safest mode of public transportation.
When this matter was raised with the staff, a senior lady duty manager ( whom I don't want to name) told that we don't allow auto as anybody can enter the hotel. I was like, madam I have half crore rupee car standing in hotel parking. It doesn't make anyone smaller by traveling in an auto.
After this argument I again went to reception as my room key card was not working. The same lady demanded an identification proof from me, instead of politely asking my name to confirm my identity before giving room key.
2. The hotel website specifically mentioned "2 Pcs Complimentary Laundry/Ironing Per Day Per Person." I again confirmed this by calling from hotel phone and the receptionist confirmed the same. During checkout, I found that laundry bill had been added to my room. The staff totally refused to buy my argument that its complimentary. Then I requested to meet the hotel GM. The GM was kind enough to personally meet me and understand the problem. He admitted that it was mistakenly posted on the website, but at the same time refused to believe that his staff confirmed that laundry was complimentary.
3. Buffet breakfast could be improved in terms of quality, spread and service.
4. The room AC, even if set to 30°C, would not increase the temperature to more than 19°C. This made the room quite cold. Then the staff provided us with room heater which made things comfortable.
5. Overhead shower in bathroom needs replacement as it was spraying water in all directions and couldn't be repaired by the plumber.
6. No complimentary room upgrades inspite of having vacant suites.

Stayed at The Lalit for a day , check in was OK, staff at front desk need some polishing and training , not a five star check in. Executive Suite was booked by me but Executive lounge was denied, Suite was in shambles, very old and needs refurbishing, No fruit basket or welcome drink as promised by the hotel. Phone at room doesn’t display any number to be contacted for any need, I had to search for room cleaning staff to ask about the reception/ room service numbers. Fridge in room was empty , room service brought hot beer/ juice bottles after complaining about empty fridge. Not a good experience, will avoid Lalit hotels in future. Pathetic.

My family and I came here hoping to undergo a mandatory 7-day quarantine in the place we thought was a 5 star hotel. We were absolutely wrong. This was the level of a one star hotel. The AC, fridge, and kettle, didn't work, and the WIFI kept turning on and off. There wasn't even a microwave. By far, the most disturbing thing was the amount of cooling in the room. Also, during the night the AC was always off, and we spent so many sleepless nights. After raising our concerns to the staff multiple times, they finally provided us with a pedestal fan. The fan helped increase the air circulation but the room was still very humid. The only thing okay was the taste of the food. Still, they didn't even serve it in plates. The food was served in cheap plastic. This was the most expensive hotel but also the biggest disappointment. I highly recommend you choose another hotel.

We had a few rooms booked at Lalit for a close family wedding and it soon became the worst hotel experience for us, a group of over 20 hotel guests. The hotel amenities, staff and even the service was way BELOW STANDARD. The experience was so harsh that i feel condemned to leave a review for all to read:
1. The Staff: The staff was oblivious to any concerns that were brought to the team. The two women on the front desk were least interested in solving problems and more inclined to apologise for any irreversible mistake.
2. The Food: The food at the hotel was worse than even the worst street food joints. The breakfast was stale and overcooked with barely any options to choose from. They didn't even have good coffee or tea to offer. We had two banquet events planned at the hotel and we were left mostly embarrassed at the service and quality of food.
I would suggest that one keeps Swiggy or Zomato handy to make on-time orders possible.
3. Hotel Infrastructure: I feel embarrassed to share that 4 of my family members, including myself were stuck in the guest lift at least once. I personally had to walk down a dark stairway once to get to access my room floor. In fact, my parents were stuck in the lift for over 15 minutes until they could find their way to an accessible floor.
Even the room keys had to be constantly corrected at the front desk despite keeping them away from mobile phones.
The hotel took over 1.5 hours to take an in-room dining order for just beer alone and did not even have a midnight menu to offer.
Before I forget, we lost electricity to our rooms almost every 5 hours and someone had to come to repair the lights and AC of the rooms.
Being a hotelier myself I am well aware of the Lalit standard yet my overall experience at the Lalit, Jaipur was more than unwelcoming. I would expect that the hotel is able to correct their wrongdoings and hopefully bring up the standards of their staff, service and infrastructure.

Oh god! Don’t get me started about how horrible the stay was. Let me start with the very basic, the room service did not clean the room properly or change the toiletry in four days. They did not even empty the dustbin. The front desk lady was rude af. The weren’t polite at all. The only thing that I liked was the door keeper, he was the most decent person on the entire premises. Will never stay at The Lalit ever. I repeat, don’t stay at THE LALIT. The breakfast was bad and the bread was stale. Won’t ever visit it again.

We had high hopes for 31st night as a family of 5. We rang the hotel to book direct as we were on the go and travelling to Ajmer. The lady at reservation picked up the call and Quoted INR 20,000 plus taxes per room. She was too dry while talking my kids said MakeMyTrip trip is half price!! We booked through MakeMyTrip at half price while hotel website states “ BEST RATE GUARANTEED “ we arrived 9:30pm had no knowledge of mandatory dinner and we been forced to take the dinner for around INR 26000 for one of the hopeless food one could ever could have. The waiters comparing about the management one of the unhappy guy said “these people don’t pay us fairly but charge people too much”!!
The breakfast this morning was terrible too the lipstick stained cups, empty serving bowls and list goes on.. Management please don’t bother to apologise Please FIX the issues and give people fair service they deserve.
I give one star is only for your Gym and rooms they were clean and fresh.

Had gone to attend a friend's wedding and my take is that the hotel could not live upto the reputation of Lalits. The food was excellent but the hotel staff was unable to take care of the crowd citing staff shortage. The Bar room was closed without any intimation to the resident guests. Despite repeated requests the staff would take a horrendous amout of time to even get a salt and pepper dispenser.
The only department which deserves a mention is the housekeeping which left no stone unturned in the upkeep of the premises.
The rooms are well furnished and spacious.
The management needs to take note of the shortcomings and take corrective actions.
