To start off: The main entrance wasn’t maintained, e.g. the smoking zone is just next to the steps (leading up to the lobby) and it was full of trash and the usual red splatter.
However, first things first. The property is shared between Fern and another hotel. The reception is on the 1st floor. Now to get there, you need to take one of the lobby 3 functional elevators in the common lobby area (too less for a tower with 11 floors and 2 different hotels) and it took forever to get into one since it was overcrowded and everyone was trying to push and shove into whichever elevator was available (made worse due to luggage). It felt like one of those overcrowded mall elevators.
Tried informing the reception staff that the situation in the lobby wasn’t very pleasant, but they kind of tried to give a response which was equivalent to, well yeah it does happen sometimes.
The room had an odour, typically which you get when you enter a stuffy room (we did reach on 15th August, when it was pouring outside, it might just be the weather). I didn’t complain, since it was late night and we just wanted to sleep.
Breakfast is good, the restaurant staff is courteous and efficient. We tried the buffet dinner, it was good (fyi, non-veg is brought to the table, while veg is displayed on the counter). For some reason, I felt that the hotel seemed understaffed overall. They have a valet service, however, the vehicle is parked in the open (and in a cramped space around the property) There is a rooftop swimming pool ( didn’t get time to check it out).
Tip 1: for those driving to the hotel: Watch out for maps instructions, since if you miss an exit, you might end up on a very lengthy flyover which will add another 5-7 kms to reach the hotel. Tip2: Use the stairs, if possible, since waiting for the elevators is frustrating. And thanks to the rooftop pool, sometimes you find its floor is wet.

The hotel on the website looks fabulous. The entrance and lobby of the hotel look wonderful. The room was not to my satisfaction with my two teen kids. There were black scuff marks on the walls, the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly. The bathroom was very small, exposed hot water tank. To our dismay, the hot water tank switch was behind the sliding door when you open the bathroom door. This meant each time I opened the door I couldn't find the switch! Our room faced the very busy road. It was pretty loud until late. There were also loud noises until very late at the hotel and very loud sounds very early. According to the manager, it is a business/transit hotel so people seem to be rolling luggage in/out at all times. Some of the towels were crusty, the bathroom floor mat looked used with dust balls attached. Plug sockets did not have universal plug type access. I had to unplug the refrigerator to charge my devices. There were two USB charge points. Not enough for a family travelling with cameras and other electronic devices. Overall, our experience less than desirable. The night manager was responsive but we checked out after one night rather than staying two nights that were booked.

We had our stay at this hotel for our 1st Anniversary and I have planned a surprise for husband Himani ji has planned and decorated the room so well.
Everything was Top notch, Food, Services and the location proximity to city is good. Hotel staff has arranged decorations on special requests .
Staff was very humble especially LILI and team were polite and listened to us quickly.
