Detailed Reviews
Is the better place in Jaipur to feel like you have got a house there. The rooms are beautiful with good beds, comfortable matress and the owner of the house, Family, is lovely! I stayed for 2 days with my husband and two daughters and was very nice. the housekeeper is a lovely woman and makes you feel like you are in your own house and she loves children too! The house is very good and maintained

We felt very comfortable from the first moment. We were so happy that we were picked up at the train station.
When we arrived at the homestay, we were greeted in the traditionally Indian living room by the family members with a cup of masala chai. This tasted delicious.
Then they showed us our room, it was small, very nicely decorated, very cozy and clean.
In the evening we were allowed to look at the cooking, that was also very interesting for us. It tasted delicious and is missing now three weeks later, very much.
The whole family gave us tips in India and told us interesting things about their culture.
We have learned so much from you.
We also got an extra map and planned everything with KB, he had the best ideas, which we can see in two days.
The delicious breakfast was served on the terrace, where we had a great view of Jaipur.
From our entire India stay, this accommodation was the best.
We warmly recommend you to book them.

KP is the best host in India! Staying at Rajputana has been one of the highlights of my many experiences in India. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the bathrooms are renovated so everything works perfectly. KP is an amazing cook (5* trained!) so you have the best dinners in house. The family are all helpful and warm and will give you unbiased advice about everything, including where to avoid scams etc. KP organised a lovely auto rickshaw driver for me whenever I needed and even helped me find the right place to get a suit made. I look forward to staying again when I'm next in Jaipur!

It was so a nice experience to stay in Rajputana Guest House. We recieved a great wellcome from the family. The house was really nice and the bedrooms were also nice and really confortable. The owner of the Guest House helped us to prepare our stay in Jaipur and made a visit plan of the city for us. We could also eat in the Guest House and it was absolutely delicious. Moreover, we could have great and long talks with the owner.

We loved staying with Mr Singh and family for Holi. Dinners were great and enjoyed Tapri for tea and sandwiches 20 minute walk away.
Wifi is good, terrace nice to sit out on and breakfast filling.
Hot water was great and air con was a relief. Loved spending Holi here celebrating with the family and other guests

Short Version: "My stay here was the single most enjoyable time I had in India. If I had to chose between seeing the Taj Mahal and staying at Rajputana Guest house I would chose Rajputana"
Long Version: the owner KP picked me up from the train station (for free!), when we arrived at the homestay, a beautiful three storey house + rooftop terrace he first showed me to my room. I had booked a room with the common bathroom, but as I was the only guest most of the time I had in fact a pricate bathroom. The room and bathroom were very nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. There is a large common area with different kinds of seating possibilities and it looks simply gorgeous. Once I was settled in, KP offered to introduce me to his family and we talked a lot about current affairs, indian customs and the like, it was an absolutely lovely evening. KPs english is very good so you can actually have meaningful conversations with him. His entire family is very very nice, they apparently used to be quite poor but through hard work have done well for themselves, and they have not forgotten that and are most likely some of the most humble people you will ever meet.
As I was fairly tired I went to bed after our talk and had breakfast on the rooftop terrace the next morning. Great, gigantic breakfast, tasted very good and I was able to order whatever I wanted. Then KP offered to take me with his family to a hindu temple so I can see some real indian people in a proper temple and not some toursist place, I was the only westerner there for miles and I loved it. Afterwards he gave me a map and suggested a very good itinery and called a really cheap tuktuk driver for me - in fact KP always made sure nobody tried to rip me of just because I am a tourist.
Having spent a nice day sightseeing I came home and had dinner at the homestay. Absolutely amazing! KP is a great cook, everything is prepared fresh and completely hygenic, and the taste is beyond amazing. My stay went on, we had nice talks and I was served unbelieveably good food, and on the last day I went to two more temples with the family and then a bollywood movie - great fun. On my departure KP even gave me a present for my fiance (I had mentioned I was getting married within 4 weeks) and I was really sad at having to leave.
Concludingly: The homestay is beautiful, completely clean and the food is great. What really makes this place spectacular however is KP and his family. The time I spent with them was easily the best I had in all of India and I felt like a guest and long lost member of the family rather than a customer the whole time. I will most definitely come back here again and then bring my wife along to meet with these wonderful people. If you stay anywhere else in Jaipur it is really your own fault, this place should be the reason people come to Jaipur and not the Fort or City Palace.

Rajputana Guest House was undoubtedly the best place I stayed at throughout my 10-day trip of Jaipur, Delhi, and Agra. The room was good. The bed was soft and the AC worked perfectly and the water was nice and hot. The sheets and towels were so clean! The house itself was decorated very nicely, too.
The best part, though, was definitely the owner, KP. He really went out of his way to help me. The first day I arrived, he sat down with me at breakfast and explained everything I could do in Jaipur. He gave me so much information about which places were the most interesting, how much rickshaws should cost, etc. The night before my last day in Jaipur, I had still not booked bus tickets to Delhi and was getting worried about it. When I told KP, he told me that he would go to the bus station himself during his morning jog and book a bus for me! He didn't expect anything in return; he did this because he is truly a good person. I have nothing but respect for him. Also, his cooking skills are the best! When I mentioned that I liked French toast, he made it for the first time and it was delicious! The entire family was very kind and pleasant.
If you are going to Jaipur, do yourself a favor and stay here. If you are reading this, thank you again, KP!
