My mother and I stayed here for 15 days (one month traveling in india) and this was THE place. Great rooms, beds and shower. Everything super comfortable and clean. There’s an amazing rooftop where we had dinner and breakfast and the food… so so good! Finally, Janu were always there for us and he is the nicest person, always in a good mood and helping us to find places or things we were looking for. All the team members are very kind and always willing to help us. I’m coming back really soon and I cannot wait to come back to this super homestay! Thank you Janu and see you all soon! Catarina and Teresa
While this place is a homestay (the owner Janu lives here as well) it is so much more than just a homestay. Regarding the large rooms, this location feels more like a 4–5-star hotel and provided the comfiest beds we had in India, along with other amenities and fast WiFi. But not only are the rooms great, so is the food we got served for breakfast and dinner (among the best food we had in India!) on the super nice rooftop terrance. Finally, Janu is a super nice guy who makes you feel highly welcome the moment you enter the building and helps you with every question. If you spend some nights in Jaipur, this place is for sure one of the best homestays in town and therefore highly recommended.
I would never expect my first hotel stay in a new city to feel as relaxing as the hotel owner Janu (Shabbir Khan) managed to make it. He clearly lives for his hotel project and it shows. The hotel employees show a fond dedication, too. Nothing was a problem: Arranging a private day-long tour of Jaipur, short car trips, or having my broken shoes fixed. Janu and his team do everything with a sincere smile. On my last night there, some hotel guests including me were even invited to a dinner made for one of their employees' birthday. The hotel is on a quiet street, with a lovely roof for city views and breakfast lounging. The rooms and bathrooms are well equipped and properly cleaned.
Tucked away from the hustle bustle of the main street. Clean, spacious rooms and even dietary requirements were well looked after. What is lovely and heart warming, guests are not treated as "passing guests in large hotels". The clue is in the name. Homestay. You feel like a member of this wonderful family run hotel. And I noticed many returning guests. That says it all.
I stayed at this hotel in August 22. The room was very clean, large bed, good amenities, such as hairdryer, hair iron, bath robe, nice deco. The roof is perfect for breakfast, dinner, beautiful view of the city. The food was good too. The manager Janu, very polite and helpful. They have transportation and guided visits. Very good price for the quality they offer. I highly recommend this accomodation.
I did enjoy my stay here, although I felt the pictures were a bit deceiving. It wasn't quite as nice as I anticipated and it's hard to see the "homestay" part to here as you weren't really ingrained with a local family. But -- I would stay here again, although I'd probably search somewhere else first. There are a few perks though. My first room had problems with the AC and they moved me immediately and had a work crew in the very next day to fix it. Before the checkout, the owner brought cash to refund the difference between what my first room was versus the room that I was moved to. I felt this was very professional and it wasn't something that I even thought about. The morning breakfast was somewhat the same each day and I'd have preferred a slightly better location, as it seemed I was always taking a taxi for a distance to get food or see the sights around town. In the end, I can recommend this stay.…
Very warm hospitality and cosy home stay. business outstation trip, enjoyed it every minute. It was a safe experience and attention to detail was excellent. Special appreciation for the breakfast. Do visit.
to start with this place is a great gem, I would say it's a mini "Oberoi" style homestay, very clean, has large rooms, and great facilities - the service from all staff is exceptional, treated as if we were the first guest, very VIP treatment, Mr Janu is so customer service focused nothing is too much. i would truly recommend this homestay over any 5 start hotel.
Marigold Inn is just as it's described: clean comfortable and cheerful, with a lovely rooftop terrace. But what really makes it exceptional, is the service. The owner Janu, is extremely accommodating to his guests needs. He will arrange whatever you need, have anything you need brought to the hotel, have something special cooked for you, arrange guides, advise on sights and accommodation in Jaipur and other cities. His well trained staff are also genuinely helpful, not doing needless things in the hope of getting tips. Of course you will feel happy to show your appreciation for their good work at the end of your stay, as we did!
This is a very nice place to stay and hang out. The guys at the hotel are super friendly and chatty. Ever since the moment of our arrival we received and amazing treatment. The room was very clean, comfortable and with everything we could need (even iron and hangers). The rooftop was one of the best chill zones we found in Jaipur. Also, the food they serve here was very tasty (we had dinner and breakfast). Janu, the owner, was amazingly friendly and helpful. He helped us arrange our visit around the city and help us find the best driver in India, Yaheer.
