This homestay was absolutely amazing.
Our two night stay was very comfortable with all the facilities you would expect from a hotel and at a great price.
Janu picked us up from the bus station (all as part of the service) and welcomed us to his newly built accommodation. Everything was immaculate and very well presented.
Breakfast on the rooftop was heavenly, the warm morning sun and the great food was a fabulous start to each day. The views are great, a real oasis in such a busy city.
Netflix was an added bonus especially after a long journey and lots of sight seeing, a great way to relax.
Rooms have electrical sockets that accommodate most travellers, there was a fridge with water, kettle with tea and coffee, dressing gowns, towels, toiletries, safe and black out curtains.
Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and Janu checked in whenever he saw us to make sure everything was ok. You can even order meals here which are served in the dining area, in your room or on the rooftop.
Janu has his own tour company and without any pressure from him, you can book a variety of experiences directly. We did a one day private tour of Jaipur and a private transfer from Jaipur to Delhi.
If you were travelling solo, you would feel safe and comfortable here.
No surprise that this Homestay gets 5* ratings. You will not be disappointed.
Thank you Janu and team! A memorable couple of days in your city and homestay!

We were 15people with 3kids stayed for 4nights in Dec19. Had booked the entire property(4big & 4small rooms). We had an nice comfortable stay. Mr.Shabir(Owner) was so transparent, friendly and helped us with local itinerary, best food & shopping places. He arranged for food, It's a Homestay but all rooms are equipped with 4star hotel features and facilities and amazing thing is all rooms have Netflix account in TV. Rooms are spacious, fully furnished, neat & well maintained. Bathrooms are equipped with sensors and have neat towels & lotions, dental kits, etc and geyser. They serve only breakfast on terrace which has Kitchen(you can cook also). It's located 100mts inside from main road so you can't visible on first glance. Parking is available and whole place is equipped with CC cameras. They have Travel desk, Vehicle for day/local tours also. Marigold Inn Homestay is recommend for families, friends, couples and solo travelers. Thanks

I arrived in India 6 weeks ago (10 January 2020). I have stayed in many different hotels, but MARIGOLD INN HOMESTAY (not to be confused with a Hotel Marigold) is simple THE BEST. This high-class boutique hotel offers genuine 5-star luxury and impeccable cleanliness at very reasonable rates. Janu, the "hands-on" owner is a true Indian gentleman with very high standards. He will do everything possible to ensure that you enjoy their stay in beautiful Jaipur. Reserve with confidence.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Marigold, we cannot thank Janu and his staff enough for making our stay so memorable.

Free transfers were included in the price and Janu himself met us at the door of our train carriage, that’s what I call a great 1st impression!

The hotel itself is very nice and great value. The rooms are clean & sparkling new! 😃 The beds and linen are high quality and very comfortable. The room has every amenity you could need including hair straighteners and even Netflix on the tv! It was pretty cold in Jaipur whilst we were there but the team made sure we had enough blankets and gave us a heater so the room was very snug.

Janu and his team really took a genuine interest in whether we enjoyed our trip and any minor problem was resolved immediately and nothing felt like too much trouble.

The roof top is great, it’s a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying fabulous food and chatting to other guests! We had some great meals here, the portions were generous and the meals were the best we have had so far in India. We stayed just after the annual Kite Festival so the sky was full of kites and Janu happily showed us how to “kite fight”.
He also had no issue with a yoga teacher we had arranged coming to the hotel and teaching us yoga on the roof in the sunshine each morning.

Janu is a great guy, he is from Jaipur and runs a tour company so he knows the area very well and happily helped us see all that Jaipur had to offer. However, I never felt he pushed his drivers or tours on us, he was happy to make suggestions or for us just to do our own thing. He suggested places to visit that aren’t in the guidebooks and he even arranged for one of his drivers to take us and another couple to the monkey temple free of charge. He also offered suggestions for things to see and do in other cities on our itinerary.

We would definitely stay at the Marigold Inn if we were in Jaipur again the value for money and service exceeded all our expectations.

I wish Janu and his team lots of luck with this new venture, but I don’t think they will need it, as I know it will be a great success! 😃

Ideal location when you want to be away from the big mass, have a little island of peace and wake up in a family owned cosy place.

Staff is amazing and do their best to comfort you. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace, drink as much chai in the morning as you possibly can because it is the best.

The hotel is close to a street market where you can buy some fruits. Train station is 5mins by car.
If you need transportation to other cities or within Jaipur the staff can help you with that as well.
Highly recommend this place, for long or short terms for leisure or business trip.

Marigold Inn is located in Jaipur City, but in a very calm and quiet street.
Rooms are very much spacious with all the amenities.
Rooms were clean and have the luxurious look.
Surprisingly they had hair dryer and hair straightner.
The best part of this hotel is the terrace. View from terrace is great and they have maintained the terrace with lots of plants . It is a very romantic rooftop and picture perfect.

It is very much safe for solo travelling women.
They also have kitchen and they provide awesome food.
I was very much worried about the water while traveling , but Marigold Inn has the water filter and you need not worry about hair fall.

Staffs were very friendly and they will even you plan your entire trip.

I had a very pleasant stay at Marigold Inn for 3 days and I am sure I don't have to search for a room next time I visit Jaipur

What an absolute treat to venture across Janu and his beautiful establishment. The rooms are immaculate and well-appointed, especially compared to the other Indian hotels we stayed in. The rooftop restaurant held a lovely ambiance, and the food was exceptional. We hired Janu's car service for a few day trips which turned out to be very reasonably priced with terrific service, and private informative tours and shopping. I would recommend the hotel, restaurant and car service 100% to anyone venturing to this area. Thank you Janu! You made us feel very special and well-treated. See you next year! Sincerely, Maureen, Michelle, Michelle, and the Butterfly.

My wife found this place on Hostelworld and it had no reviews yet so took a chance and were not disappointed. It’s a great place; clean, warm, inviting. All amenities you would expect from a high class establishment. It’s only been open for several months so everything is still really new.

Staff are wonderful, they cater to any request you might have. The owner, Janu, is a real character with an amazing story and he has built the place from the perspective of giving his guests anything they could possibly need. He aims to please and puts the happiness of his guests above anything else. He is such a friendly, helpful and genuine guy and is very knowledgeable about Jaipur, Rajasthan and India.

The room we got was great. It was very large, the bed was super comfortable and we got a little heater that properly warmed up the room. The en-suite bathroom was perfect; nice shower with good pressure (we had some issue with the hot water but Janu resolved that immediately), western toilet and large mirror and sink area.

The hotel has a nice rooftop with decent views across Jaipur, though the best thing about the rooftop is the kitchen and it’s chef. This was our second week in India and this was by far the best food we’d eaten so far. The chef is happy to cook what you want, we even ordered stuff that wasn’t on the menu! So massive compliments to the chef!

But by far the biggest selling point of the place is the owner, Janu. He understands the market, having worked in tourism for many years, working his way up from sleeping at the station and sharing a rented tuk-tuk at an early age, to now having an India-wide tour company, employing 25 people. Nothing is too much to ask, he knows everyone in town and is very happy to assist and inform you on places to see and visit, arrange special requests, point out his personal favorites. The hotel is his latest venture and he’s eager to perfect and learn from his guests. He implements feedback and thus listens to his guests. He is a great host and made our experience one of the best ever. I would totally recommend staying here (so much so that I decided to write this review).

As for the picture, Janu learned I love the old Ambassador cars and he just happened to have one that he Made available to us for a day tour.

This is my second trip back to Jaipur and because of the amazing and 5 star service that I experienced with Janu and the team on my first trip, I reached out to Janu to make arrangement for my trip again. I was then invited by Janu to stay at this special place which just open not too long ago.

My initial plan was to stay in 2 different hotel for my trip in Jaipur. I booked to stay at Marigold Inn on the first 3 nights of my stay and to move to JW Marriott Spa Resort on the last 2 nights of my trip in Jaipur but I ended up cancelling my booking with JW Marriott and stayed in Marigold Inn my entire trip!

Apart from the hotel, Janu owns a travel company where you can arrange all your tours with them as well. It simply make everything worked easily with a reasonable price but a top notch 5 star service.

The staff accommodated all of my needs and always making sure I felt at home and safe. The experience I had in this place was simply magical! Janu and his staff are extremely attentive without making me feel being intrusive.

The rooftop of the place is my favorite hangout spot! You get to look out over the city, watch the people of the place living their daily activities - kids playing along the street, the neighbours catching up with each other, some were feeding the goat on the roof across the way and colorful laundry hanging all over the place.
By the night time, you will get to catch some random fireworks display up on the sky or the twinkling lights from the city or just stare at the beautiful starry sky. It is absolutely a blissful moment!!
It is also my favourite spot where I get to embrace the love and spirits of this amazing country.

If you are looking for an amazing and magical experience in Jaipur, look no further, it has to be Marigold Inn and Janu Private Tour!!

The Marigold Hotel is the perfect oasis in the city. It's close enough to walk to shops and restaurants, a quick ride away from the biggest business areas and highest rated restaurants, and it's clean, quiet, and most of all, thoughtful.

The owner, Janu, spent time ensuring that each room had everything a guest could want, along with its own personality and unique touches. Everything is there for you to relax, recharge, and become completely at ease.

The rooftop lounge and restaurant is an oasis within an oasis. And the food...oh my goodness!! Janu's chef is a master, and the food is astoundingly good, blending Rajasthani, Uttarakhandi, Nepali, and local flavors to create a fusion that has to be tasted to be believed!

The service is courteous, efficient, and pleasant.

Stay at the Marigold, and you'll not be disappointed!
