Sorry, for writing late.
My manager tries to contact the hotel manager for booking and pricing, he didn't pick the call and they are confused with pricing of rooms.

We stayed here for 3 days with family.
Don't go on photos uploaded here. Hotel rooms are very small in area. We thought location will be somewhere on quite place, but its in the middle of the city.

Hawa Mahal and old city is just 5km from Hotel.

Construction was in progress all the time we stay there for 3days.

Forresta restaurants and Trove Bar restaurants both are overprice and expensive. Trove opens till late night on Thursday and Saturday so you will have a sound problem on these two days.

Overall, we didn't enjoy the stay. Not recommended from our side.

the staff was rude that they asked me and my lady colleague to pay in full or we will be asked to leave the hotel at 10:30 in the night at the time of check-in although usually every hotel you have to pay at the time of checkout the staff mr. Amit at the reception was so uncourteous that he did not offer even water to us we had booked two rooms. the beds had spit marks on the cushions and pillows hairs all over the room cigarette all over, basic amenity like toothbrush and bathroom slippers were not given to us. the rooms were so noisy full high volume music from the bar or cafe whatever it was. I have pictures of my experience to prove my points

I’m sitting here unable to sleep because of the doof doof music that permeates the otherwise lovely ambience here. It’s 12:50am. Not a great place to stay if you want a good night’s sleep!!
The restaurant is good. I used it for the included breakfast and dinner.
Rooms are nice although as is so typical for India, mine is desperate for some maintenance. I have a dripping mouldy hose in my bathroom and the shower head needed replacing a few years back (the water is hard here so the mineral deposits build up quickly).
Staff have been good

No hot water available in washroom. I stayed in hotel for two nights but hot water was not available even after reminders for any of the day. I had to beg for hot qater buckets. Hotel staff/ manager was always giving excuses in stead of resolving issue. He was not ready to take feedback. I surprised to hear when he said you are the 1st person who is asking hot water and people staying here never ask for hot water. Washroom water was not getting drained. Rooms doesn't have fresh air.

If you are party lover you will love the ambiance as hotel has two bars co located.

DON'T STAY HERE!!! PEEPING TOMS WORK HERE!!!

We recently stayed at Devraj Niwas in Jaipur as part of a Golden Triangle tour (including Delhi, Agra and Jaipur). I was in the bathroom getting ready to take a shower and looked up at the vent area above the shower and noticed one of the hotel employees was perched at the opening watching me. When I shouted to my husband to tell him what was happening the man ran away.

The hotel design is only one floor and upon looking into how someone could be at this area, we saw there are stairs leading up to the rooftop for anyone to access. Many of the rooms have a similar design where you can look right into the bathroom. On each roof are the water tanks and a man needs to go up here everyday to start the hot water pumps for the rooms - so it is accessed frequently, and therefore providing a good excuse if similar complaints are made.

The hotel management and police were called and complaints filed.

DON'T STAY HERE - who knows how many innocent and unsuspecting women have been watched!!

We were committed to this hotel as part of our Intrepid / Peregrine tour of Rajasthan, so I have no idea how much it costs or the value.

I think there are 3 critical basic elements to evaluate all overnight properties – location, sleep, and a good shower.

LOCATION: 4/5 The location appears pretty good - it is definitely in the city and right off a very busy major road. We didn't have time to do much exploring but you could see there was a lot in walking distance (not necessarily any tourist sites but shops). The main attraction of the location here is the design of the hotel grounds/ property. The minute you drive into their area from the busy road with all the honking, dirt, and noise....you arrive and it is quiet and there are trees and greenery lining the walkways to the rooms. Very nicely laid out so you fill like a garden escape from the city.

GOOD SLEEP: 5/5 Large clean and comfortable bed with multiple soft pillows. Our room was quiet and the temperature was cold (there in January) but they did have a space heater which kept things comfortable. Apparently, Indians love HARD beds because almost every bed on our tour at every hotel was hard like a rock, and this one was no exception (although not the hardest).

HOT SHOWER: 5/5 Very nice large and open dedicated shower that had hot water.

Everything else just adds or subtracts from a stay so follows are some other comments:

GOOD
- Nice modern style room (very clean) with large bedroom and bathroom (upgraded toiletries), flat screen TV, desk area. Each room also has a little outdoor secluded seating area.
- Free WIFI with reasonable speed.
- Complimentary tea/ coffee/ kettle in the room (use Bottled Water!!)
- Newspaper provided to room.
- Reasonable priced laundry (Shirt 85 INR, Underwear 40 INR) that was well done. Please note for the Intrepid Tour, the laundry is probably 40% at the heritage property in Jaisalmer.
- Reasonable breakfast - will provide omelet/ eggs on request and have toast and limited fruit selection, as well as Indian selections. Good service by staff. A pretty basic breakfast offering compared to the other properties on our tour, but perfectly fine.
- Very nice hotel restaurant and bar with ambient outdoor seating.

CONCERNS
- No hairdryer.
- Being in the city...and being in India which is inherently very noisy....there is a little more street noise than normal.

Overall, this felt like an oasis in the city. From the moment they greet you with welcome drinks, it kind of feels like a B&B (bed and breakfast) where there are only a small number of guests. I would ranked this the 5th best hotel out of the 8 we visited on our tour and wouldn’t have a problem staying here again.

Average rooms, average ambience, only restaurant was above average and the hotel was too noisy. So if you are going to Jaipur for vacation or to enjoy the city, perhaps this may not be the right place to stay. The staffs were more like robots, all the answers were given within a line. The vibes were more like a typical corporate/professionals. So if you are going to a place like Jaipur, this may not be the right place, unless you want to enjoy the same culture which you usually enjoy in your office……..

Our business delegates from Germany stayed at Devraj Niwas recently and i stayed with them. The hotel is very nice. It is different from the regular hotels. Spread on a huge piece of land in the main city. All rooms are on ground floor, very neat and clean rooms. Lots of open space and green trees all over. Staff is polite and ready to help 24 X 7. Breakfast is good and it is served in the open air restaurant. Makes you feel fresh. Everyone was very happy. Highly recommended.
