Despite its 250 years of heritage, a modern property providing a calm and peaceful atmosphere in the heart of Jaipur.
My parents and I stayed at the Royal Heritage Hotel as part of a Golden Triangle Tour and it was one of our highlights.
Despite its proximity to the city centre, once you enter the haveli‘s gate, you feel calmness and peace. The welcome by all staff was incredibly warm and smooth.
We were offered coffee and tea upon arrival, which was served on a private terrace outside our room, alongside complimentary treats, which included a cake, lovely chocolates, fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. After an exhausting trip across the busy streets of India, it was one of the most wholesome experience we could have asked for.
The suite itself – which we specifially requested and was provided to us as promised, was breathtaking. It had a unique flair, was incredibly spacious with 2 seperate rooms and made us feel like royalty. It was clean and felt modern, despite its long history.
Upon arrival we were also introduced to the spa manager, who offered us a complimentary 15 mins head massage, which we were encouraged to take without feeling pressured to book a service. It was a lovely added benefit. We were also able to book a full massage for one of us on short notice, which was decently priced and of good quality.
The breakfast itself was made to order and served on a terrace, which was lovely. It included a mix of fresh fruit, pancakes and waffles, as well as some local specialities.
The pool area itself was also gorgeous – only sad bit was that the water was too cold for swimming, but thats expected and normal for all hotels in February.
Overall, we highly recommend the Royal Heritage Haveli as a key highlight of our India trip! Its a great and unique property with amazing staff

After the hustle and bustle of a whole day visiting Jaipur, arriving at this hotel means appearing in an oasis where you can rest and tune your body in the fantastic pool and your spirit in the spa. The staff is really excellent, always worried that everything is to your liking. They will respond to any request, anyone, with a sincere smile. The food is great. The Chef prepares the best Indian food we have tasted on our trip. The letter is well nurtured and always meet requests beyond. The rooms are very quiet and perfectly equipped and exquisitely decorated. Wifi is fast and connects easily. Finally, the security of the enclosure is perfectly controlled. No one who is not invited can access. Perfect. I want to thank the staff for the attention they had with a member of our family who had a bad night. Thank you very much. It is a highly recommended hotel, quite a 5 star hotel.

Wow. We have traveled the world twice over, but have never received such amazing service as we did here. From the spotless room to the incredible spa and restaurant - staying at the Royal Heritage Hevali was a an amazing experience. The hotel not only laid on a very knowledgeable driver who took us to some fabulous places around Jaipur, our stay here was faultless from the moment we arrived at the property. Delicious breakfasts and dinner, cocktails by pool... we enjoyed a calm in the middle of a crazy, beautiful city.

A beautiful haveli set in an 18th century hunting lodge. The facilities are excellent (in particular the pool and spa) and Kigelia restaurant has tasty food albeit with hotel-level prices. The team of staff are highly attentive but we were let down by issues with the hot water supply and water pressure in our room. This meant we could not properly shower on one of the two nights of our stay. We flagged this to the maintenance team but they were unable to quickly resolve the issue.
When we spoke to the front office team at check out we were offered a 300 rupee discount which we found a little insulting given the premium nature of the hotel. We spoke to other guests who had experienced the same issue with a lack of hot water. I sincerely hope this is a one off issue and other guests have a better experience.

Response from Shambhavi Singh, Owner at Royal Heritage Haveli

Dear Priya, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay at our heritage hotel. We're humbled by your kind appreciation of the beauty of our 18th-century haveli, the facilities, and the attentive service from our team members. However, we apologize sincerely for the issues you experienced with the hot water supply and water pressure in your room. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially during your limited stay with us. Our geysers are connected to blocks of rooms around them, and despite having checks and balances, there are times when the sensors fail, requiring company technicians to rectify them. We always do our best to prevent such incidents and will ensure that we are better equipped to resolve such issues promptly. Regarding the discount offered at check-out, we apologize if it seemed inadequate. We want to assure you that it was a genuine gesture of goodwill, and will train our team to be more mindful when handling similar situations in the future. Once again, thank you for giving us an opportunity to serve you. We hope to do better in the future. Best regards

Our stay at RHH was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home after our long journey. They were incredibly accommodating and resolved a booking error (caused by Booking com) within minutes, showcasing top-notch customer service that stood out among all the places we visited in India.
The rooms were spacious and even more beautiful than the pictures suggested. The grounds were impeccably maintained, providing a serene and relaxing environment. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful ambiance, which was perfect for unwinding.
The food was delicious, although slightly on the pricey side given the location. Nonetheless, the overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel for those looking to experience something unique and authentic to India, as opposed to a modern-style hotel.
Negatives: The only downside was the air conditioning in one of our rooms, which struggled to cope with the extreme summer heat. It made for an uncomfortable night's sleep, despite being set to the highest settings. However, considering the exceptionally high temperatures outside, this was a minor inconvenience.

We stayed at this excellent traditional haveli, converted into a hotel, in Jaipur, recently to celebrate a special occasion. We had booked the spacious Signature Suite. Located centrally with easy accessibility to the important city points, coupled with impressively authentic Rajasthani decor and ambience, we found the place extremely quiet and peaceful. The staff was very courteous and efficient. The quality of the otherwise limited menu was excellent. However, sadly, and surprisingly, this hotel carried no authentic Rajasthani food on its menu. We further observed that the prices of the various food options on the menu were also quite steep. The attached spa offered the traditional Kerala massage. The swimming pool and the garden lounge area were lush green and welcoming where one could relax sipping a cup of hot tea or coffee, or just reclining an an easy chair reading a book.
Overall, we did exprience a relaxing and a very comfortable stay.

We are a family of 8 who were traveling here from different parts of the country and world for a get together. The rooms were booked for two nights and paid for two months in advance and I had received an email from the hotel confirming the same.
The night before checking in when I called the hotel to ask if we could check in early. I was informed that now our rooms were going to be available for only one night! The next two hours were extremely stressful as it looked like a carefully planned family vacation at the end of the year was going to be chaotic. After a lot of back and forth and insisting on my part they agreed to giving us the rooms for two nights. This is the first time I am experiencing anything like this for a fully paid booking!
The rooms were not ready to occupy till 2:30 pm though the check in time was 2:00 pm. Hot water issues were there in two rooms for the first day, so some of us bathed in cold water in the Jaipur winter.
The hotel, rooms and grounds are gorgeous and well cared for. Food at the restaurant was fantastic and the outdoor dining with bonfires under a tree was very atmospheric. The masseuse at the spa is very skillful and all of us left very refreshed and rejuvenated after a very unpleasant start.

Dear Ms. Krishna, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your recent stay with us. We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience caused by the initial issue with your room booking, and we're glad that we were able to resolve it prior to your arrival. Due to the oversight on our part, our team took the additional time to ensure the rooms were ready for your arrival. The water heating system had a malfunction on your first morning, and we required a technician to restore the functionality, which was fixed within an hour of your message to us. We understand the inconvenience caused by this issue and sincerely apologise to your family & you for them. We have looked into these matters and taken the necessary steps to prevent such incidents in the future. On a positive note, we're thrilled that you enjoyed our hotel's ambience, food, and spa services. We're proud of our team's hard work in maintaining our property and providing excellent service. Once again, thank you for your feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. Kind regards, Shambhavi

The Hotel is beautiful, cared for in every part. It is a silent place away from the unbearable chaos of Jaipur. The staff is very professional, helpful and very attentive to every need. The rooms are large and spotless as is the linen. Every day they tidied up our room and cleaned up in the bathroom. The breakfast was the best of our trip to India, the restaurant with refined Indian dishes is really good and not even expensive. It truly is a fantastic place. If you come to Jaipur I recommend you come here!

Very beautiful hotel and overall a very pleasent stay. Staff very kind and helpful. Food really good. You really feel like inside a story. The hotel is a bit expensive compared to other 4 star hotels but the standards are much better than other hotesl we visited in india, specially regarding cleaning and bathroom. If we travel again to Jaipur we will go to the same hotel.

Stayed there for two nights at the end of our Rajasthan tour. The RHH is not at the top center of Jaipur and its sights, so it’s a little commute, but it was absolutely worth it. The place is a very charming typical rajasthani haveli, very well kept. Our ‘room’ had a private courtyard, dining area, sleeping room, dressing room and ensuite bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, so it felt more like a palace. Extremely helpful and attentive staff, they went out of their way to make our stay even more memorable. Very good spa, we both got a massage there, which was really great. The restaurant was very good as well, and cosy as they have open fireplaces in the courtyard, so we preferred to sit outside even in the January chill. Best of all: the staff found a pashmina shawl we had forgotten in our room, informed us about it and sent it to our friend’s place in Mumbai at no cost. Overall an exceptional experience!

We have room service available on request, but we would prefer Guest to have their meals in the Kegalia Court, which is our open restaurant and or the covered Restaurant...
